After Nate completely through his buddy under the bus for crashing his Conscendo, he got a nice taste of Instant Karma with a crash landing. This is the E-Flite Conscendo. We love this plane and the speed it offers. Let us know your thoughts on this jet like RC air plane in the comments.

One of the best thing about flying is introducing others that have an interest to the hobby. If there is damage done when they are flying I make light of it and expect/accept nothing. I feel that this is a gift, as such, a true gift is given with out strings. I have taken control, or slapped safe on to prevent a less than positive first flight. In the rare cases that this happens control is always relinquished to the trainee so that they can regain confidence. I have only had one loss, I replaced the plane and we were flying by the next weekend. I am far more worried about the person that has an interest having a really great first experience than I am about the aircraft.

I highly recommend folks upgrade the prop spinner to metal with CF blades. Running on 4S (2200mAh) is GREAT with this plane!
It's little brother, the UMX Conscendo on 3S is also fantastic! Some are running it on 4S (300mAh) batteries as well.
Generally, I don't let others fly my planes as I don't want to be mad at myself or anybody else if it gets destroyed.

White Gorilla Glue when properly applied with water is by far THE BEST glue there is to repair white foamies. I always hear you talking about hot glue which works ok but does add a little weight and tends to break free from the foam over time. The Gorilla glue repair is actually way stronger than the original foam was to begin with and will not break at the repair ever again. Also it’s cuttable and sandable after it cures so can be used to fill in missing foam as well as fill cracks permanently, seamlessly, and it blends in with the white foam perfectly. You should really give it a try… most importantly you have to follow the instructions and wet the pieces to get it to foam up and expand. I’ve used it for years and won’t use anything else personally. Maybe you should make a repair video with hot glue and Gorilla comparing the two…? Btw the Conscendo Evo is a blast to fly, until you up the prop size a little and the entire nose rips off pulling the wires out of the ESC and you land the back half of the plane never locating the front part…. Ask me how I know!!lol

    Salutations Saylors!
Even though I was on the lookout for a mishap, I was still caught off guard when you clipped the landing strip light with the wing of the plane, quickly bringing it to a stop, after that, I really expected it to be damaged much more severely. Although I wouldn’t recommend such a stunt, it is a good demonstration of how durable this plane is.
I just might have to add one of these to my collection!
    Thanks for sharing!

When I let people fly my planes I buddy box with them so that the responsibility is on me. If they are as good as pilots as I am I just let them fly. If they crash I eat the cost. My friends are the same way. If I crashed their plane they would not let me pay even though I would buy them a new one anyway. I'm the one who taught everyone in my flying group how to fly so they trust me with their planes. With that said. Accidents happen even to the best of us. I would never put the burden on someone else. Unless he crashes into a Lamborghini with my RC plane, then he's on his own. 😂

I let any of the guys or girls fly any of my planes at the field. They are only toys in my eyes . The most expensive ones I have are 500 to 600 bucks. Life is too short not to be able to enjoy yourself flying. I would replace any one of them at any time if needed. I also only own eflite planes. Between the wife and I we have been flying since last September and we just got our 23 plane in our hanger - spare room. So for us everyone is a better pilot. We learn things from them . I like to watch people fly out stuff differently than us. As well as seeing first hand what their fingers are doing.
Sometimes guys travel a long way to fly and forget to bring key components and can't fly. That's not an issue with us as we have extra dsx from RTF so they are in the air with something. I hold no responsibility for any damages done. Just enjoy the sport or hobby none of these planes go with you when it's over anyway.

My opinion is you don't let someone fly a plane that you will be angry with the person or situation about if it gets crashed or lost. If someone wants to fly your brand new f-22 you just maiden-ed and you don't think they are quite as good a pilot as you are, and you are not willing to part with the f-22 yet, you say "No, sorry, I'm still getting it dialed in." If you ask a better pilot than yourself to maiden a plane for you, and they crash it, you don't get to be mad either. Even if you think you wouldn't have, you probably would have crashed it too. Keep a cheaper foamy you can replace easily around for friends to fly if you feel bad about saying "no" too much. The other side of this is, if I were to fly someone's plane I would offer to pay for it if I crashed it, and I would never fly a plane I wasn't comfortable paying for, even if the owner said it didn't matter if I crashed it. The only exception would maybe be training on club planes that they expect them getting ruined is part of the expense of having a training program. I'd still probably offer to replace it though.

    • @jeffmayo8848
      @jeffmayo8848 24 дня назад +2

First of all, that insurance doesn’t cover a crash that just damages the plane itself. Secondly, the AMA insurance is a secondary insurance which means it will come out of your own homeowners liability first for an accident that runs into a car, house or another person and causes damage. Nate continually does not mention this.

@jeffmayo8848 you can actually insure your rc planes now. Adding 15 to 30 bucks on top of your purchase. U can have 3rd parties cover your rc purchases. I have something from Amazon that I pay a monthly subscription on that covers all my purchases over 100 bucks

@@jeffmayo8848 it covers crashes. It's pretty dope. Way better than ama insurance. The only thing it doesn't cover if the plane gets stuck in a tree or lost. In the event the plane is not repairable or it's discontinued. They will send you a visa gift card comparable to the price of the plane.

Like always... great job Abby! Nate is just... Aiiight. Lol. Jk. My friend lets me fly his in fact, he peer pressures me to fly! I have and haven't. Close to 50/50. His skills are better than mine so his planes are better too! I've lost one but we've recovered it. Hardly no damage. Lucky

A friend rode my motorcycle and wrecked. He paid for it. Was that wrong?

Yes the bike is yours and you are responsible for it if you just let him ride it. Not like he just took it for a ride without telling you

If he didn’t have experience and you let him ride it. Then you should pay. But if he’s someone you know and he has experience. Then I see no problem with him paying.
