Thank you for teaching me the education of the craps table, I will try to visualize the game as it turns out.
Color Up thanks for the rules.
Color Up The two is called SNAKE 🐍 EYES! 👀
Bro i went to the casinos and saw hella people playing this, and i was so lost. So i came to watch this video, and now im even more lost🙃
Fast overview, I have a slow beginner course for free at my website colorup.club
Bro same lol.
Going to Vegas in 4 days. I think I need to watch this video 20 times on repeat to sear it into my memory.
@@CByronBurke hope you tried it
Shit is confusing and I’m a pretty smart guy.
what insane man invented this game
Ha, it sounds complicated but that’s just all the different bets. Game is simply= bet on number you think will roll next.
@@ColorUp modern craps was invented by a wealthy French landowner who brought the English dice game "Hazard" to Louisiana and simplified it. The fact that a Frenchman was involved says it all, really.
Rabbi Herschel Lieberman-Bergblattstein that is one of the most widely accepted versions of the game’s history
My favorite casino game
More insane men play it.
My friend and I went to Vegas and neither of us had ever gambled before at all. We went to the Bellagio and just wanted to walk around and see the place... we heard and saw an area that looked like people were having a blast so we went over and watched them for a little bit. There was a group of friends at a Craps table that asked us if we wanted to try to learn how to play. By the end of the night my friend and I each cashed out with $3,000 in chips after putting down $200 to begin with. One of the guys talked everyone at the table into betting $20 on double fours and it ended up getting rolled. It was an unforgettable experience and so much fun.
Sounds amazing! Welcome to the game
That’s how gambling always is. You’ll never lose.
Wow! Great Advertisement! I'm sure Bellagio did NOT pay you to post this comment! Wow!

My buddy's bachelor party was last weekend. We ended it at a casino and I'd never played craps before but always wanted to. While they played slots, I stepped aside and watched this video. Walked to a table, watched for a second, hopped in, got some help from the dealer and tripled my money before walking away. Now I'm addicted and having a blast!
Beginner's luck lol
a little weird that their choice of game was slots, but nevertheless good job!
Set yourself a budget and stick to it, that's what I do. I give myself £20 per month for gambling, which is because I am on a low income, but set yours at what is affordable and don't go over it, this keeps it fun. Most I have ever won is £100 on an online slot lol :) x
That took a different turn at the end than I expected 😂😂😂😂
@@cruiselover9903 I had the same expensive. Won over $400 my first run then never gambled again. That was the only gambling I’ve ever done in my life
Lastnight took wifey to casino and she threw the dice off the table on her first roll lol then an hour later when she finally crapped out we had turned 60 in to 700 learning as we went. It was awesome! People evern tipped her 200 after she crapped out. Best birthday ever!
Sounds like awesome experience!
Ahh that's cool people only would do that in this game tho right? Because her wins were their wins as well?
I always have my new dice dealers explain the game to me. I pretend to be a “first time” player with zero clue how to play. This is a very good and simple explanation.
IRL smurffing
I’m lost at wat the reason for that would be Ukno how to play so why would u have a new dice player tell u how to play and how does that make a very ease explanation unless ur saying. U do that for the people who dnt kmoe how to play so they don’t feel dumb when they ask??? lol I’m not sure maybe I’m just lost here
Still confused lmao this game hard to learn from ground zero
I promise if you watch this video a few times and then go to a casino and hang out to watch the game you'll catch on quickly. It's intimidating but it's so much fun when the table gets hot. Not only that, if you're there to have a good time and drink your money typically lasts longer on the craps table. I used to go and just bring 100 dollars, it would sometimes last several hours. I learned bc there was a really nice older guy who taught me while I stood beside him. I mirrored his bets (which is common) and it was a blast.
After you get into it, it's not that confusing. I like it if there is a table of fun people and when there's a win they all celebrate.
It's just rolling dice, what he's describing is the betting rules. Technically you can play craps only knowing how to bet on the pass line. It's made to look intimidating, but it's brain dead easy.
Simplest form, you bet on number you think will roll next
what are you doing at ground zero
@@cross_fire_ Just remember that each "zone" is governed by it's own set of rules. Once the dice are rolled, those rules determine how and if you will get payed.
You didn't waste my time with tips, etiquette, or other preamble garbage and you advertised "4 minutes" but finished with seconds to spare...which is why I've subbed.
Thank you
Just played for the first time in the casino. Real nervous and awkward at first but I absolutely loved it. Was able to turn my initial $200 bankroll into $1806
Wow, sounds like you had some beginners luck! Welcome to the game :)
Amazingly informative simple and quick explanation of craps I'm genuinely impressed with your breakdown, next time someone asks me how to play craps I'll definitely be showing them this clip
Much appreciated 👍🇦🇺
Craps in under 2 seconds: Seven you win, Seven you lose...
Not bad, leaves a couple questions :)
GOLD... Pure GOLD
A bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off.🤣
Now im confused.. how do i win and loose with 7🤷♀️
@@maddy1120 Craps is really 2 games. The is the Come out part of the game and then the point cycle. If you are a "right" side pass line better, you have an instant win when the seven rolls during the come out part of the game. Once in the point cycle of the game you lose your pass line bet if a seven shows. If the little hockey puck says OFF, you are in the Come out cycle, if the hockey puck says ON whatever the number that the hockey puck is physically located at is the point. The shooter is trying to roll the point number before rolling a seven. If the shooter does roll the point number, the puck is moved to off, the shooter keeps the dice, and a new come out cycle starts. If the shooter rolls a seven and does not roll the point number, he loses his pass line bet, loses the dice, and the next shoot take there turn starting a new come out cycle again. I hope this helps. :)
2:06 - ASS BAR!!
0:52 ass line
Great instructions and clear description of the "very confusing" game of craps. I really enjoy your videos and I've learned heaps about the game from you. Thank you.
Oh and for those who don't know how to play yet, it may help to mention that the whole table is one game, but has two sides so more people can play. Like many people, I was intimidated by it all yet drawn into the action and excited to eventually throw them bones.
I still don’t get it
I feel your pain lol
Yea I’m like what?!
2:00 Smart money is always on the DON' ASS BAR. Great video as usual.
Heck yeah it is :)
Even smarter money is on free odds bets
How to get the Table to hate you 101 lol
Thank you so much for making this video and the timing of the upload was great for me. I am taking my mother to the dice table tomorrow and it will be her very first time playing the game. I am horrible at explaining the rules so I will be able to show her this before we go to the casino :)
Have fun!
anyone else more confused??🤣
Very much so.ill stick to black jack and roulette 😂
LOL it sounds confusing but it doesn’t take long to learn… Download a craps app and play it after watching vids like this and you’ll pick up on it…
After that, learn the odds of every bet so you bet smarter; for example, most novice craps players always bet “right” meaning they’re betting that the shooter is gonna win… But, there are more ways to roll a 7 than any other number… So unless it’s on the “come out”, you’re better off betting that the shooter will LOSE (called a “wrong” bet) 👍
Man finally someone who can clearly explain it and break it down what a great vid, now I’m only confused about when buying a number bs placing a number like on bubble craps
So if I understand you correctly, the game seems to have two parts to it--part A is the first throw part and part B is the post first throw part. So in part A, the thrower starts with 3 possibilities--a 7 or an 11; a 2 or a 3 or a 12; or a 4, a 5, a 6, an 8, a 9 or a 10. If he throws a 7 or an 11, people who bet on the pass line win and the thrower starts all over again. If he throws a 2, 3, or 12, people who bet on the don't pass line win with 2 or 3 but only break even with a 12 and the thrower starts all over again. I'm not sure yet how much you win for getting it right but it's probably double your bet. If the thrower throws a 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 then nobody wins and the game transitions to part B. The number thrown becomes the point number. The goal of the thrower is now the throw the same point number a second time before he throws a 7. You can bet on the thrower doing that or against the thrower doing that. The play ends as soon as the thrower doubles the point number or throws a 7, whichever comes first.
You understand the game perfectly.
Seeing the rules explained in writing like this actually made everything click for me. Thanks. ✌🏼
This is correct, but with the additional wrinkle that every bettor can make new bets between every roll of the dice. This is why both casinos and players love the game, constant action.
If I put money on a number, do I only lose when a 7 hits or when any other number besides that one hits?
Also if you bet pass line and it’s one of the other numbers ( 4,5,6,9,10) do they lose that bet or it stays alive until there’s a 7?
My dad used to go to Shreveport when I was a kid, come back with cash and tell us a bunch of stories. Finally got to play it myself and it's tons of fun
Thanks for the help the text guides online were confusing. Seeing it visually like this was really good.
On a cruise at the moment and wanna play craps, thank you for this vid bud.. now I understand, it looks complicated but it’s a series of games within a game.. 👍🏼👍🏼
I'm about to shadow my first day at a crap table, this really cleared things up thank you
Wow!!
Here's simple and clear!!
You are the best Craps player I seen among in this world.
Appreciate that
I legit wanted to learn now to play craps for my Vegas wedding next year .... first thing I saw was “ass line” at the start of the video.
When you get to the table and try to remember the rules, all you're going to remember is "Ass Line".
I saw people playing on a cruise ship, and figured this video would help me understand what they were doing. I think I understood more before watching this video 😂
Thank you, good video. Helped me understand a few things I was confused about
Great short video. The only bets missed were the don't come(I think), hop bets if the casino has them, and the ever popular whirl/world bet. Lots of new players have trouble understanding the whirl bet and when it makes sense to play it.
Plenty more missed, buy and lay bets, don’t odds, side bets like ATS, but I don’t think those need to go in very beginner video, I cover all that in detail once they are hooked :)
Pretty simple concept, I learned a lot from watching this. Thanks!
Thank you! It finally clicked on how the game works, still a lot to remember, but you made it really easy to understand! Hopefully I get into the dealer school
I have a free beginner course that might be helpful on my website colorup.club best of luck to you at dealer school!!
Good luck! I’ve been dealing for 7 years and I love it. Learning craps this week

This is a great video, but I would recommend watching it a few times to make sure you've 'got it' before heading off to the tables. Also, most tables have "all, small, and tall" bars where you basically bet on all numbers in a given category being rolled without a 7 coming up. Small (2 thru 6) and tall (8 thru 12) generally pay out 34 to 1 while All (2 thru 12 without a rolled 7) are 175 to 1 payout. Also, betting on 6's and 8's usually pay a little more due to being so close to 7. I know, it's difficult to put everything into a 4 minute video. Overall, I would recommend this video to anyone interested in taking a trip to a crap table. Even those with a little experience shooting craps would do well to watch this.
Bro you made things so much more simple lol you shoulda made the video lmao
Nobody interested in winning money should ever make any of the small or tall bets, or almost any of the prop bets. Craps is very simple if you stick to the 5-6 bets on the table that have decent odds. Play the pass line (or don’t pass), come, place the six and eight maybe but that’s it!
Great job and speed, thank you
I had no idea how to play before watching this, but now I know I’m sticking with slots when I go to Vegas in April!!
Its a great game, but if you want to stick with slots...whatever you enjoy.
@@ColorUp there are 4 of us going 2 couples, would love to have a go. Might try and see if there is a quiet table early one morning to give it a go
A great way to learn, go to a table with other players, not an empty one. Make one single bet, and just observe. Nothing gets you more comfortable than time at table. I’d recommend this video, more detail than the quick overview you watched. ruclips.net/video/KboEdmj4UXg/видео.html
Love your videos man...keep up the good work

I’ve been watching this video on repeat and playing free craps online. I understand it’s just a lot of different ways to bet lol. Gonna try this next time I go to the casino to have more fun instead of the damn slot machines😂
Me: exhales from nose slightly. Craps table: Ass Line
Came here to learn, as I watch others play, from the cash center...
Just might take a $20 and do something big!
Ha!🤣
Thank you, Thank you, And Thank you again.
Craps is so much fun. Even if you're not a gambler, live casino games can be so much fun if you set a budget, and don't give a toss about winning, those two things will protect you from it becoming compulsive and addictive, and keep it fun. Then gambling every now and again is good fun. If you're playing online, set a deposit limit, this will help you keep to your budget. For example as someone on a low income, I allow myself £20 a month 'gambling' budget, but you can set it at what you can afford.
I remember playing a dice game in the local pub many moons ago back in my younger years I am only 35 lol), I am not sure what it was called though, only remember it used to get really rowdy lol x
This video is craps, finally learned! Ty
Very good video but I’ll admit it seems like the most complicated game in the casino. I play mostly black Jack
I’ve tried craps but I think it will be more fun now after watching your video
I LOVE Casinos!!
Is there anyway u can do one on a 6/8 don’t pass hedge into the iron cross? I’ve used this successfully at downstream and would like to see you’re take on it. I normally put 10$ on the don’t pass then establish point, then cover the 6/8 no matter what the point is and use the next two hits to pick up the 5/9 then hit 2 times to recoup my investment pull the DP down work into the iron cross from there.
A buddy of mine and I go to the Casino from time to time. We play slots. I'm very tempted to try Craps the next time I go. I was told you can win big on it! I need to try this sometime!
There aren’t really jackpots like in slots, but it’s less volatile. You can win big sometimes.
Always saw this game on TV. Never knew how to play
On what channel or network?

Great instruction, but I had to take notes on paper to sort it out and better memorize it. No matter how many times I play the video without notes, I'm always forgetting something. I live in Las Vegas, so I'm trying to learn this game. After I master this game, it's on to Pai Gow Poker.

Heading to Vegas next week.
love how a year before you did this vid and it was an hour long
I’ve been trying to learn this game by watching people the last couple of times I’ve gone to a casino. Everybody just looks like they’re having so much fun. I just don’t get how to bet. Everyone just throws their chips around like they know what they want. I typically just stick to blackjack because I consistently win on that and I know how to bet on it.
This is a fast overview. I have a free beginner course on my website www.colorup.club
Thank you :)
Thanks for watching
Thanks
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Why or when do you want to bet higher on the pass line?
Jeremy, first of all thanks for the great instructional videos! Now on to my newbie questions. I live in the crappy state of California where dice craps is not allowed, only the card version, is this worth playing? Are the odds any different than traditional craps? I live about 20 minutes from a casino with card craps, but am unsure of "action", should I play if I am only player? Also should I bet on the Pass or No Pass in this situation? I will be going in with a small $100-150 bankroll, which strategy would you recommend. Thanks again for the instruction! Keep up the great work!
its the same game as far as odds go, instead of 6 numbers on dice, there are 6 cards,(diff places have different ways, some even throw dice to decide which cards) - Not sure what to recommend for strategy, as none are guaranteed. I can tell you after the dice rolls which one you should have played hahah, It is gambling...A couple of my recent videos show strats for 120$ bankroll, check them out. Or some older videos, find one that appeals to you and you think comfortable understanding.
Linda postagem.
Wouldn’t betting on the no pass line make the most sense since a 7 is more likely to roll than every other number?
Your vids are great! Thank you.
Mathmatically, the only difference is .01% but the don't pass is better. People generally have more fun on the pass, just tradition I guess.
Gotta try this game at least once next time I hit the casino. I did the same with roulette & came up a little bit but I don’t think these are the type of games I’ll stand around for an hour playing.
Came back to say I spend almost my whole time at the Casino racking up on craps lol. I love it now thank you for the video!🙌🙌
Best game in casino
My first ever time betting on roulette I put $5 on a 28 and made like $200.
Thats a beautiful table
Thanks
He could slow down a bit but great info. I use to win in Vegas in my 20s and stopped playing and can’t remember how to play!!
This is just a fast exciting overview. I have plenty of videos breaking down the game in slower pace. Thanks for watching.
I wish more people would actually take the time to learn the game. I have no issues showing new players how the game works but on busy nights dealers don't have time to explain this whole game to you.
That is interesting to see, some people are more adventurous...I was too nervous to approach game until I had a full understanding of it first
@@ColorUp it always surprises me that these guys are willing to come up and throw hundreds of dollars at a game they have no understanding of. If you somehow found a shady joint with a shady crew they could skim all your bets and you'd be none the wiser. The other part of it I think is ego. Their with a girl or with friends and asking for help looks weak I guess.
Do you have a favorite dice set you use when shooting? Can you demonstrate it?
Nah, I'll leave that to the "pros"
