    My first time playing craps was at a $25 dollar table since all the other tables were full. I started with $400 and turned it to $6000. A guy from Florida and I was hitting inside numbers all day. I was playing $1100 inside by the end of the night. Sadly I will admit I’m down $300k (possibly more) lifetime due to gambling.

      Yeah, just like I've been kicking myself for the past quarter century over two, not one, TWO 'hands'. One of 41 rolls and one of 43 rolls, in AC where I won about $650 on each. (but I had close to forty grand on me at the time and I was betting red and green chips, could have EASILY made a quarter mil on either.) Two different casinos, different days, same vacation.

      That’s what tell the people that can’t wrap their heads around the fact that someone can get hooked on gambling. It only happens to the ones that start off lucky. I went my first month of gambling without losing a single day. $100-$300 buy ins and I was $5000 in profit before my first losing day and I lost $2000. I didn’t understand how it was going so bad.

    Craps was very enjoyable at $5 tables, and years back at $2 and $3 tables. Played for years and did fine. Haven't touched the dice since tables went to a $10 and higher minimum. I don't have that sort of bankroll to last in a game waiting for a good roll. It was fun while it lasted.

    I’ve never had the money to be betting yellow birds. But one morning about 15 years ago, as a nickel and dime better, watched a very drunk or stoned guy hold the dice for over 45 minutes. He could hardly stand but he couldn’t throw a seven. After 15 minutes I was buying points for quarters and winning. Of course, I was always thinking he was going to crap out so I didn’t push my bets all that high. But I still walked away up over 2500 bucks after buying in for 100. Best day I ever had, or will ever have at a crap table. Finding a low stakes crap table is damned near impossible these days. And as one of these guys above wrote, the bankroll you need to bet even quarters is too high for most folks, much less buying all the numbers for $200 each. That takes serious cash.

      @@blake_lively_matters6553 of course, your math is correct for the original bet, but when you can find casinos offering as high as 100 times odds bets at true odds, the original bet can be de minimus to the amount wagered. Very few people have the bank roll to do this of course, which is why the casinos feel free to offer them.

    I ran into A high roller in Shreveport La several years back. From Italy Tx. A friend told me to leave our table & check his out.. had seen him before.
    He starts out with 50k in chips. Bets A 500.00 pass line..backed with 10k odds.
    He was up over 600k when I get there. Some kid was shooting. Didn’t think he could shoot A shot of tequila.. was I ever wrong.
    The high roller seldom bet the come…but he did after several attempts @ his point which was 6. Finally the high roller put 500.00 on the come.. the kid rolls A 10. High roller puts 10k odds. I said to myself he’s screwed. Young gun roll 3 straight 10’s then made his point.
    High roller cleared 800k that night.
    I will never forget it. A month later he was in the Horseshoe & clipped them for 1 million. Same betting pattern. Only was he would make A come bet if the shooter rolls several points with hitting his #.

      @@rustymebane8265 - That's funny because I was at Seneca Niagara one afternoon, playing Craps and a player on the other side of the stick had a rack full of purples and was betting 2 grand every comeout. I lost him several grand when I had the dice, then I left to play Baccarat. At the end of that, I had all my remaining chips on Banker and Player turned over a Natural 9. If I don't tie, I'm on the NYS Thruway. It tied and I let the bet stay out and it won on the next try. I immediately returned to the Craps table, when the gentleman from before was now on my side of the table, still with a hefty rack of purples. I got the dice and he put $2 grand on Don't Pass. Now I'm in a quandary. I can't tell the guy how to bet his money and it would take too long to explain to him that I just dodged a bullet over at the Baccarat table, so I remained quiet. I rolled a ten (with $10 on the Pass Line), he put two huge stacks of purples to the side of his Don't bet ($20,000 lay to win 10 if I seven out). Next roll, I hit my ten and won thirty bucks while this guy lost twenty two grand. It took the dealer two trips to haul all his chips in. Guy says 'I can't believe you rolled a ten.'

    Guy lost 5k just on that 4 at the end, but had a couple of hits on that 4 just before the 7-O that paid him 6k each time so he's still up. I ran into a guy last week in Reno who bets 4k on the don't and 4k lay bets. I watched him make 20k in 15 minutes. Guy was throwing dice faster than the stickman could get it out to him. Sadly I came in the game and ended his winning streak but that was about the craziest player I've ever seen. But what the guy in this video should have done was buy all the hard ways for 1k each. That shooter was rolling a lot of hard ways. Even just one hit of the hard 4 pays 7:1, that's 7k he could have made. I saw the guy throw a H4, H8, and a H6. He should have been up 20k+ just on those three hits lol

    • @InsidetheCasino
      @InsidetheCasino  Год назад +1

      Actually, there was NOT a 7-out at the end. I put the wrong text there. If you listen closely to the video, one of the dice had gone off the table at that point. So, it was a NO ROLL. Player called for same dice too.
      So, that $5k on the 4 was still in play at the very end, and like I said in the video, the next roll was a 9. Don't know how long that shooter continued after that.

    I was in Las Vegas with my husband after we were married there, and he introduced me to the game of craps. I had never played before , so he said to simply stand beside him and place the same amount of chips next to his , as my bet. The game was very crowded that day , and the table was surrounded by players, mostly men. Many quite inebriated, having fun. The game went on and on and I noticed that chips were slowly filling the rail in front of us. Very nice. At long last the dice were slid over to me by the stickman and my husband showed me how to throw them down the table. We bet on the pass line. 7. Winner. I then threw another 7. Winner. And another . And another . Seven 7's in a row. We let it ride after every throw. And the luck continued for an hour an a half. We turned a couple of hundred dollars into a substantial nest egg in that time at the craps table. People were absolutely going crazy, and I didn't know why. Maybe it was the low cut dress that I was wearing that caught everyone's attention, which had a sobering effect on he men as I leaned forward to toss the dice.. My husband was shocked that seven 7's were hitting in a row on the come out roll. So, later he checked on what the odds of that happening were , and they are 250,000 to 1!! Anything can happen in gambling.
