Your son was asking questions that I literally was asking myself as he was asking you. This is the best practical tutorial on craps that i've seen on youtube :)
Great video. Teaching your Son ( who asked great questions btw...) in front of the camera offers the real life exchange that really teaches someone. Also, be aware that brand new players are intimidated that they will appear foolish by not knowing the etiquette and your Son displayed that innately. Questions such as, "where do I put my drink?", "do I reach across the table? to get my dice?", "how do I tip?" , "where do I put my chips?" etc... These are all questions that beginners have and are overlooked in many videos so great job here and thanks to your Son!

The color up videos were accurate and identical to what takes place. No way could I have done it without these videos. Thank you so much!
Dude, I've wanted to step up to a craps table for years, but it was always so intimidating, that I never did. After watching this video, I now know when I can get into the game and how to place a bet. Well done to both of you!

Couldn't have said it better myself (as an F.N.G. to the game). The 2 times I gambled here in Colo., I found a table where I was the only shooter & man, they gave me a helluva' lot of 1st timer's knowledge, though my education wasn't cheap, Ha-ha!

Back up to 42:00, there is $10 in come and it wins. He bumps it up to $15 come bet. There is $5 pass and $10 odds. So when 7 comes, $15 is lost in pass line, but $15 come bet wins $15

Trying to teach my sister craps. Been trying to find a good teaching video for her while we are all stuck inside. Gonna show her this one. Very easy to follow along and your son asks good questions too. Great video Color Up!
Im a dealer at a casino. And no joke, your video gave me the motivation to learn Craps. And just a heads-up on what you were saying about dealers wager at 27:53 since ive got insider information. So lets say youre betting 1 dollar on behalf of the dealer. If it wins, you have won 2 dollars for the dealer. Which then circulates and pools to their salary after dividing it with the other dealers. But if you tip the dealer 1 dollar, that 1 dollar is his/her tip. BUT... and here's the kicker, if you lose that 1 dollar placed as a dealers wager. The money naturally doesn't circulate back to the dealer as tips. Rather, that 1 dollar is pocketed as normal chips/winnings for the casino. Which means... that the dealer would appreciate it more if you just straight-up tipped him 1 dollar. I speak from experience. Hehe. Great video btw
So true! I can usually play blackjack for a couple hours at least with the money I bring, but if I decide to play craps, I know it can be over in 30 minutes 😂😂
I'm only 20 minutes in but I can't recall if you told your son that from his table position he should be throwing to the farther end of the table than where he is standing.

"....and they'll drop this down in the box, aaaaaaand you'll never see this money again".
Well ain't that the damn truth
30min in, and I hear my favorite bet 6 - 8 and Pass is a good bet.. 😅😅😂 thank goodness... because I learned a LOT I didn't know! Great video
28:24 "So go ahead, collect your come." I've said that to the ladies many times before.
Settle down bigdog
Color Up AMAZING REPLY HAHAHAHAHA
Thank you for explaining without hideous jargon and confusing terminology. I’m going to the casino next weekend and I’m genuinely looking forward to shooting some dice now!
Good luck and have fun
Trying to teach my sister craps. Been trying to find a good teaching video for her while we are all stuck inside. Gonna show her this one. Very easy to follow along and your son asks good questions too. Great video Color Up!
I have a free beginner course on my website also www.colorup.club
You don't wanna toss the come lmao.
I usually wouldn't go there but damn that was funny
"Collect your come"
LMAO
Don't throw your come lol
It's just above the ass line.
Hehehe. Hehehe. Hey, Beavis. He said "come". Hehehe. Hehe.
Oh good... I'm not the only one that laughed when he mentioned taking the come or leaving it in the come.
@@DickWalz lmfao XD
From another vet. Thank you for your service. I learned so much on this video. Excited to test out this with some other strategies. Thank you again
Craps. Its the fastest way to win more money than you can imagine and its also the fastest way you can lose all the money you brought to the casino.
So true! I can usually play blackjack for a couple hours at least with the money I bring, but if I decide to play craps, I know it can be over in 30 minutes 😂😂
Great tutorials 👌 👏 👍 you helped my friends learn the game now we show up at the casino and take over the table .
Great video.. who else is as immature as me when the word come comes into play? 🤣 such a child.
You wanna..? 🤣
You wanna..? 🤣

This is the best video I have seen on Craps! I feel situational learning is the best. Thank you!
Glad you thought helpful!
This man said to his son “go ahead and collect this come” lolol
All the best Dads teach their sons how to play Craps. This is a life skill.
I'm only 20 minutes in but I can't recall if you told your son that from his table position he should be throwing to the farther end of the table than where he is standing.
Ed Tomaszewski nope I didn’t , good point, but that’s just a function of us being at a kitchen table and not a real table.
I watched this as well as I sent this to son who just turned 21 and is heading to Las Vegas. Great video!
Thanks for watching and sharing
i like the "Ass line" showing at the end of the video.
anyway, thank you for showing this! learned a lot!
Glad it helped you out, thanks for watching!
Thank you so much I’m gonna watch this video 4-5 more times before I head to Vegas next month LOL
It said ass line when he put his chip down (said in a Beavis voice)
Im loving the questions hes asking because I would be asking the same even though some people might consider them ‘dumb questions’ Thanks for the video!
Yall laughing at ass line and im dying at "pickup that come"
EYE just call them "COMMERS".
Great video! Your son had some good questions too that helped to clarify things! Never played craps before, only blackjack, but I might have to give craps a try this weekend!
It’s a great game. Give it a try
Not legal to play craps. But it's fine for him to be scarred for life in the military. 'murica
Zachary Nixon i know the Indian casino near Syracuse New York is 18 to get in for everything and they have table games
@@mikebrhel12 correct, turning stone, vernon downs, point place all 18, but del lago is 21, state owned.
native reservations are sovereign nations, they set their own rules
Awesome video, every other tutorial is so complicated. your son asked really basic questions that are super helpful to beginners thanks! :)
Glad it helped
I can't hear his questions cause he's not mic'd up. If you say 'yep,' we don't know what you said yes to.
I was a little intimidated last time I was out. This video cleared a lot up for me. Will have a lot more confidence from now on. Good video.
Nice! It’s a great game, have fun next time
My brain hurts from this game to complicated lol
Stayed tuned, today’s video is “learn craps in 4 minutes”
Less complicated when you actually play, you’ll learn quickly
Best instruction video out there for baseline Craps. Thanks
spent an hour leaning how to play, up $450 on the first night :)
Thats awesome! It won't always go that well.
Color Up oh i know 😭😅
