Way to go on that mushroom level! Yeah bouncing the mushroom up causes it to "corner boost" which is essential for certain speed run levels.

Last level was bomb so good
On the mushroom level you want to hit it when it's just barely on the right side of the block. That way it's skipping as much of the block as possible. The "big ones" are ironically slower because they were hit later.

You know something, having a sideline announcer like in sports and wrestling would be great to add to some of these Mario videos but you'd just have to have some kind of edited in announcer cheering and getting amazed that's really good with celebrating words.
