    A couple of fun facts:
    1. Korn discovered Limp Bizkit. Members of Korn (I think it was Head and Fieldy) decided to get new tattoos after a show in Jacksonville, and the shop they went to happened to belong to Fred.
    2. Snoop is featured on their song Red Light - Green Light

    • @leonvibroboy
      @leonvibroboy 3 месяца назад

And for Dre and Em, it's because, at the time, they was supposed to do something all together, a lil' earlier than the Jay Z/ LP mash up masterpiece, but Fred delayed that and then said the worst possible thing about at the time, so it caused all the diss tracks related later on ..

Limp bizkit catches a lot of flak from the metal community because they are kind of rap-rock and the rap community doesnt accept them because of the same thing but they really are a great band. They were one of the biggest bands in the early 2000's and like all good bands, i feel like their newer stuff isnt as good as their older stuff but all in all, these guys are badass, i hope you do more reactions from them soon. It's called nu metal, Korn were already well established in this genre. Yes nu metal did get frowned upon by serious metal heads but they frown upon anything even metal music if it doesn't conform to their standards lol It was never a big deal. many metal heads loved Korn so it's neither here or there. Limp Bizkit got flack for being too cheesy, They were seen as a fill band rather than anything serious.. But that's a load a of bull coming from the usual suspects. Their music was a unique flavor, Many of us enjoyed it and thanks to Korn they blew up off the bat. But unfortunately they also blew out just as quick, Never managed to concrete a foothold.

This song became more iconic and infamous when Limp Bizkit performing it at Woodstock '99, 30th Anniversary. As Break Stuff were playing by the band, among of 200,000 fans, some of them destroying the area while unlawful acts occurring reported. Fred Durst stated that it was Limp Bizkit's fault of the meltdown at Woodstock '99.

I highly recommend you listen to more, I'd go with songs like
1: Faith (cover of the George Michael song).
    2: Nookie.
    3: Re-Arranged.
    4: Hot Dog.
    5: My Generation.
    6: Full Nelson.
    7: My Way.
    8: Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle).
    9: Livin' It Up.
    10: Take A Look Around.
    11: Boiler.
    12: Eat You Alive.
    13: Gimme The Mic.
    14: Underneath The Gun.
    15: Almost Over.
    16: Build A Bridge.
    17: Lonely World.
    18: Phenomenon.
    19: Creamer (Radio Is Dead).
    20: Head For The Barricade.
    21: Behind Blue Eyes.
22: Red Light-Green Light (ft Snoop Dog)
I'm not a fan of the last song personally, but seeing as you seem to be a fan of Snoop I put it on the list ... unfortunately I can't speak for tracks after the "Results May Vary" album because I've had too many other bands to listen to so the songs keep getting pushed back on my ever growing list

You're not wrong. People can say what they want about Limp Bizkit, I certainly have, but they crushed this. One of the most emotionally resonant songs ever, you cant help but rock with it.

That song was released in 1998 and was a blast at Woodstock '99

Yes, finally some Limp Bizkit! More Songs of theirs to check out, "Rearranged", "Keep Rollin'", "Nookie", "N2gether Now" (with Method Man), "Life in the Fast Lane" are all bangers. Jonathan Davis gave their demo tape to the record company, so Korn gets credit for "discovering" Limp Bizkit. Another interesting piece of info is that Fred Durst (singer from Limp Bizkit) passed along the demo tape for Staind, so they get credit for "discovering" Aaron Lewis. This band is definitely Nu Metal.

early 2000's nu metal videos were wild, there's also the wild story of LB getting some kind of appreciation certificate from the world trade center after winning for the video Rollin on sept 6th, 2001, got the certificate on Sept 10th 2001, and the video and song was taken off air, radio and TV 2 days later for obvious reasons.

Fred Durst did tattoo some of the members of Korn before Limp Bizkit became well-known, but it wasn’t in a professional capacity. Fred Durst was an amateur tattoo artist at the time, and he gave tattoos to Korn’s bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu and guitarist Brian "Head" Welch when they first met in the mid-1990s.

Their cover of Faith was also an anthem back in the day. And honestly, secretly one of my favourites is 'Take A Look Around', which was the theme to Mission Impossible: 2 lol
