Assets are good, but the font does not work, and there's no real build up. You have building blocks, but you need a better paced and more cohesive script. You can't just throw a distorted Boiled One-esq charicature on screen with some sound effects and call it done. There's got to be something else, something that actually instills _horror_ into the viewer, whether it be philosopically or empathetically. Monument Mythos deals with elements of conspiracy and control. Channel 58 is about inevitability and ineffectual resistance. More viscerally GHE is true cosmic horror, but at the same time leans into the fear of being deprived escape from it. And the Walton Files strips it all down to simple fear of irreperable harm. This? I get a freaking looking jpeg. Admittedly, a well made jpeg; and you did good with the, for lack of a better phrase, chase scene. Monster sounds were well distorted, and the distorted video was just barely recognizable, without just being a plain-jane portrait of the antagonist. All this to say: I've seen better, but with better pacing and more narrative cohesion, you could have something really good on your hands. You obviously have the talent for the artistic portions, and are familiar with the common visual tricks, so I see no reason you could not make something really good.
Actually, we wanted to make a more cool and creepy vhs with a plot, but the second creator got tired of continuing development. Therefore, the second vhs turned out like this... incomplete and strange.
