Yugioh Wiki is often full of it, use Yugipedia instead, they're the better wiki, and they would have told you that Bat is not a counterpart to Dark Shade (100 cards from DM1 did get recolors in DM2, yes, and Dark Shade was a DM1 card and Bat was a DM2 card, yes, but they definitely aren't the same design - you can compare their 3D models in this game and tell that instantly. However, Bat does have a counterpart - Wind-Up Bat. Similarly, your entire thing on Jinzo #7 is also totally wrong. It debuted before Jinzo's debut in the manga (December 13, 1999), and its debut in the OCG (September 23, 1999) came after its first appearance in a video game - that being Yugioh Duel Monsters 2, which came out on July 8 1999. The reason it is in this game is that it is a monster designed by Konami for this game and one other. It got in the OCG later. Jinzo was developed separately by Kazuki Takahashi, which is understandable, as their Japanese names are both Jinzoningen - that is, "artificial human" - with the difference being that #7 is literally just #7 in Japan, while the more iconic Jinzo is Jinzoningen - Psyco Shocker.
I am pinning this comment for the comprehensive and thorough analysis and trivia. Thank you Shiny Feraligatr for not only being one of the best shinies but for the wisdom gained in this comment
Most of this stuff is just weird lore cruft I've built over the ages by observing the incredibly weird way Yugioh as a game got rolled out compared to how it's recognized today. Lot of very strange stuff. Having a good wiki with dates for comparisons helps. Oh, never tossed my vote for what you should do next in. Uh, well, Machine was one of the easier ones, so next should be a harder one, but not too hard since it's not one of the extremely easy ones like Warrior. I guess... Fish? Or Winged Beast if you need another easy one.

Here's a bit of dark trivia for you. Most of Bandit's best monster cards from Dualist Kingdom are themed after high-stakes gambling. Slot Machine is (obviously) based off slots. Pendulum Machine is based off of the practice of using pendulum divination to guess odds. His then ace card, Barrel Dragon, was based off of Russian Roulette. There is even an image of him playing Russian Roulette in the manga during a flashback sequence.
Can't wait for the Exodia deck. Honestly, my ideal deck for FM is the 5 pieces of Exodia, a few traps like Widespread Ruin, Acid Trap Hole, Invisible Wire, and a bunch of monsters with beefy DEF like Millennium Shield, Labyrinth Wall, Mystical Elf, Wall Shadow, etc. Just stall out the enemy, then Exodia them.

Pair this up with Cyber End Dragon and limiter removal you now have a 8000 attack point piercing monster with the ability to wipe out a player(who has either bricked or hasn't set up any good defense yet) with one turn. The Homer Simpson edit for the 'neat little package' was so quick I barely caught it. I love that you did that.
The consistency of these is actually insane- thank you for yet another banger of a video 🙏🏻
Yeeeeeeea boiiiiiiiii new playthrough
OH AND WE’RE LEADING WITH SONIC MUSIC
Half the fun is adding in the nostalgic soundtracks lol
@@Jon_Oh Always a joy to be reminded that Crash Twinsanity’s soundtrack is absurdly good. Less of a joy to remember I played that game 20 years ago. x_x
Mechanicalchaser was *briefly* the biggest vanilla no-tribute summon in the US.
YES FINALLY MY MACHINES! And on my birthday of all days! Thank you for your service, Jon.
Happy Birthday
Happy birthday! (a little late on my end lol)
Ive been waiting for this. So excited! 😊
I don’t know how this week could get any be-
*New Jon-Oh! Drops*
Yoooooooo
Love it as always, Jon-oh! Still waiting on a Digimon run!
Haha thank you, currently in the offscreen digimon run, i died to ninjamon
ive passed out watching this like 4 times now, itd end, id wake up to try to find where i was, and id crash again, so thank you for the white noise i suppose, finally awake long enough to actually watch it
haha surprisingly common
The Patriotism in me was overflowing when i saw this vid in my feed...always a good watch after work
Labyrinth Wall's animation is quite comical. It's almost like it was made...In America!
Literally just a second before
1:01:46 I was thinking the exact same thing, you always bring out the bloody good references but that one absolutely got me 😂 Absolute blast from the past that one
We must have had the same childhood 😅
@@Jon_Oh haha chances are there's an absolute tonne of crossover, I love the videos you've made and I hope that it all continues to go well! Also I realised I'm so bad at keeping up with RUclips notifications haha
Awesome run as always, hopefully the run helped you relax. Now on to spellcasters, the opposite of machines!
+1 to spellcaters
Ayyy, as someone who requested machines in a previous video, I had launcher spider as a kid and thought it was the coolest card so I'm really looking forward to this run
1h long video,Timestamps, lore, editing, really good voiceover. Damn, u are putting more energy into this than a lot of crappy big youtubers in their 8min videos...
Just doing all the things that i want to see, thank you!
41:05 - Meanwhile, here in socal, the closest (and biggest) casino nearby is an Indian Resort and you REALLY don't wanna get on their bad side. Their rules are a bit different once you're on their turf
Nothing better than having a shit day at work to open RUclips by accident and see that Joh_no dropped a video
No matter how it started…I knew it had to end with Bandit Keith packing heat😂. The most unhinged moment in Duelist Kingdom and probably my favorite.
"you were probably there when jesus was born"
Yugioh's egypt plot takes place around 3000 b.c., somehow I doubt it, but Shadi was definitely there
Oh freaking heck YEAH~~~~~ ANOTHER VIDEO!!!! You got this!!!
For anyone wondering why cyberstein was banned irl. It's effect lets you pay 5000 life points to special summon ANY fusion monster from your extra deck. Pair this up with Cyber End Dragon and limiter removal you now have a 8000 attack point piercing monster with the ability to wipe out a player(who has either bricked or hasn't set up any good defense yet) with one turn. At the time Konami wanted to ensure that OTKs were as difficult as possible.
Another great title for the Shadi Cinematic Universe series!
Bandit Keith really outdid himself by importing modern machinery into ancient egypt and causing the casino wars
Finally!! I've been waiting for this since the series started!
Evil Twins music starting up caught me completely off guard.
