I'm surprised that there's no parking, not even limited, for visitors to the embassy. There's another service these guys can offer, which is to stand in line in exchange for payment. Some people have more money than time, and do not want to wait in line for two hours or more, to get a ticket or inside a venue or for a service. There are agencies that specializes in this service. I don't know if there's much of a need for that down there. I never get tired of that drive on Old Hope Road. It's one of the few roads that I remember and can recognize one or two places from my last visit to Jamaica when I was around 20. Thank you, JI.
I have to add how walkable the area is; you don't have to drive to get everywhere. Rd-light runners, talking on cell phone while driving, no wonder there are so many road accidents, and not just in Jamaica. Now that I've seen the long line, maybe there wouldn't be enough parking spaces to accommodate so many drivers. I would think that the elderly, disabled and also pregnant women wouldn't have to wait in such a long line.
Here watching & showing full support
