"Vampires aren't real" they say when their adopted daughter is a fairy that is friends with other fairies from another universe filled with trolls, demons, fairy animals which are just normal earth animals with wings, pixies, mermaids, selkies, orcs, trolls, goblins, witches, and elves. But yeah vampires don't exist
I was SCREAMING in rage this entire episode. The entire plot hinges on "the Winx are too dumb to remember what vampires are." For plot's sake! All of them learned light spells in SEASON 1 and have _the literal fairy of sunlight_ on their side, there is NO reason for vampires to be anything but a curbstomp battle in face-to-face combat!! The writers _could_ have made the episode interesting by delaying the vampire reveal until the end, and turn it into a mystery where the Winx investigate how/why the people of Gardenia are turning into thralls... but of course that would be too complex by this season's writing standards.
I mean I get that Stella is trying to be kind and generous, but yeah, ITS LITERALLY HER DREAM SO WHY ON EARTH DID SHE GIVE IT TO BLOOM. ANOTHER TIME BLOOM GETS THE ATTENTION.
Also Cara’s batter growing spell, Piffs sleeping spell, And the weather pixie’s ability to summon rain clouds. Yeah the pixies are the only characters that have original spells and not just beams of pixie dust.
I could understand her not giving Selina a hard time over it, but even if she forgives Selina that doesn't mean it wasn't traumatic. If you get poisoned by someone and you forgive them for that that still doesn't help the poisoning or the mental scarring from almost dying.
The fact they showed a flashback to the first TV movie instead of the actual first episode really shows that Rainbow doesn't want you to remember anything from the actual first two seasons. 😬
You know what would be fun? Make the reason why the Legendarium creatures so focused on Bloom was because _Selina_ was the one that's summoning them. They could've used it as a sort-of subconscious wish that Selina has whenever she pops them out of that old ass book, something something along the lines of wanting Bloom all for herself or whatnot (yes, we are continuing the idea of them being ex-gfs, MOVING ON)
It would make more sense if Selina and Roxy had known each other. And maybe Selina would be the last witch on Earth. As an ability to control and transmute animals like Roxy. The legendarium is from her ancestor and she wants revenge because the witches of magics did not help when Ogron sealed them.
Having episode 11 & 12 (or even just 11) be about Selena and Bloom's history makes SOOO much sense it hurts. We'd just had Selena's shocking betrayal in ep 10 and this season has to be ALL about BLOOM anyway, so why not have an episode dedicated to just her and how her friendship with Selena formed and then deteriorated. Maybe it even happened at the end of the year before the summer Bloom moves to Alfea and we see that the loss of her friendship with Selena is what motivated her to go to Alfea and was literally the prompter for the WHOLE series. How did the writers mine so deep just to miss all this gold at the last minute. Also Stella vs. Selena - Sun vs. Moon. You CANNOT tell me the writers didn’t see that link.

I rewatched all seasons and 6 was sooooo boring but then made to season 7 I'm like "Oh God please kill me slowly" idk what I was thinking making myself watch the after seasons of 5, 6, 7, 8
didn't the pixies teleport in season 2 to get to gardenia with the winx? i don't think that was ever explained either... guess 4kids adding lines about them riding the winx's magical dust trails makes a bit more sense.
In season 2 stella teleported them using her septer in the hallowinx episode proven by the effect used and my explanation for them teleporting now is that maybe since their bonded to the winx maybe they can acess the abilities the winx have which would make since with the pixie bonding boosting fairy magic so it makes sense that the pixies would get something out of it as well.
When you said they could've had Stella fight the mind-controlled Winx it reminded me of Tecna's fight with her nemesis in WOW, except Tecna's fight was relevant to the plot, gave Tecna some character development and had great fight choreography + the Winx using their environment to their advantage in the fight (they do this a lot in WOW now that I think about it).
Yup. their magic had a wider range too. Not just generic spell beams and hand waving. There was logic vision and some form of tracking and all. It was great. I am sadly not that interested in World of Winx but it is pretty good. Season 6 could learn a thing or two.
I always had a feeling that something was wrong with this episode. Now I finally know what it is. These two episodes could be used for a mini stella arc where she remembers all her good times with her friends and she has to save from the vampire. This could have been the perfect time for Stella to get her bloomix. Envision a stella with no powers who is the only one who can do anything against this vampire hopelessly using the weakest spells because she can no longer use magic. She can finally use her brain again and defeat the vampire without magic giving her her bloomix. But no, we got 2 filler episodes that did nothing and were bloody boring.
Idk about Andy or Jason but Mitzi actually appears in these episodes at that Halloween party. She just doesn't have any relevance or lines. It's interesting that she's wearing her season 4 dark fairy outfit though. Not sure if that's supposed to be a reference or a lazy continuity error.
Or Stella has two different types of halo attacks. Solar halo: a circular golden hoop that Stella can use to push enemies back whilst injuring them. My general comment is that people shouldn't have to skew down the intelligence and quality of their show for younger audiences because it can very possibly be talking down to them instead of introducing them to the elements that made the show so fuckin' classic and meaningful! You don't need to follow the sucess formula of children's entertainment media!
In fact, I thought the vampire's lair was the haunted house from the HalloWinx episode. Speaking of nostalgia, I would have liked the mainstay of this episode to be Aisha. I know it doesn't make sense, but it's the same feeling I had when -in World of Winx- Bloom has solo missions and everyone in the group expresses how they're not a group without her. Aisha joined the group a season later to the main cast, and having the original five fairies saying ON CAMERA "We're not the Winx without Aisha" feels much more meaningful to me than "We're not the Winx without Bloom" which is something we're reminded of every season.
Ugh! I hated episode 11 so damn much! How the hell were the Winx gonna defeat the Trix - through the power of dancing? Just pirouette them into submission or some BS? Also, like I asked in the last video - why the hell did Stella apologise?! Her being goofy would have cheered me up instead of some dumbass ballet lesson from Aisha!
True I never got Aisha’s anger with her. Bloom, Stella’s BESTFRIEND is currently gone. And her being the usual happy cheerer upper girl she is…this is something I’d expect of her so she can get her mind off of her friend leaving.
It makes me think of when I was down in Florida with my dad and we were at a beach one day, he didn't want to apologize to this guy who thought we were too close to him for getting frustrated at him because it would make the guy more arrogant. In my opinion, Stella doesn't really need to apologize because she's being herself which clearly upset Aisha. I see it as Stella just wanting to give the group hope and excitement to pass time. Aisha's frustration was valid because Bloom was gone and it understandably feels different and incomplete when someone in your friend group is missing, but the way she conveyed it was wrong. She could've been nicer and helped Stella with the wing size somehow. Therefore, Stella apologizing could've made Aisha more arrogant.
Are you talking about What We do In the Shadows? That's the only show I can think of where the vampires are in the convenience store, talking about “creepy paper.”
Hi Thomas! I hope you had a good break. As usual. This was absolutely great and in particular the Windows joke with rocket was hilarious 🤣 you know I COMPLETELY forgot that lazuli and her friends were fairies before they enrolled in cloud Tower. I know we've had it happen before with Marta becoming a fairy, but for some reason it literally never occurred to me that it could work in the opposite direction. Sometimes when I'm bored I will look through the Winx club character pages to see if there's something I didn't know before and farragonda's always confused me because it listed her as a former witch but now it all makes sense. It's just so refreshing to see the newer seasons take such a straightforward approach to the lore. It feels like something the older seasons would do albeit greatly simplified. With that said, I think it would be interesting if they had a story where there was a first-year student that inexplicably could not achieve her magic winx form and as such was transferred to cloud tower. The kicker would be that it had always been this girl's dream to attend alphia and being transferred fills her with a lot of resentment. She would see it as if Ferraganda was saying that she did not want her because she couldn't transform ( in reality, farragonda would have of course said they complete opposite). To make a long story short, while it may not be during the current season, she would come back as the strongest witch at Cloud Tower and eventually fight the Winx I just think it would make a really interesting story.
29:04 you know what I would have preferred is that when Stella said "magic winxs" and was interrupted she accidentally activated the first transformation instead of just not transforming at all that would have been way better
Oh my gosh! more content! thank you, I have been checking youtube daily for more Winx Club! Also just finished chapter 1 of your book and already loving where it's going!
I love how they bring back chrs from older season like the girl that pushes Stella is from season 2. Also some of the goons with purple hair and white suits are also there. Idk I js love it
I think you just nailed why every season after 4 feels weird. They each feel like a wattpad fanfic. Season 5 had the self inserts, season 6 has the mary sue...
At 14:20 there's a guy in the background that looks suspiciously like that one guy from the black circle, he's also visible in the crowd at several other points
17:11 Winx continuity be like: We still want to pretend like all of the events of the previous seasons did happen but we just don't want any of the consequences. 😂😂😂
And other splendid video, dear Thomas! I did enjoy those two episodes. The pixies had more personality - especially Lockette, and the fact that Stella acted mature for a bit and saved the day - not Bloom (even though I love her) - is everything! But yeah, Bloomix looks weaker than Bloom in the first three episodes of season 1, I still ship Roy and Nex, Aisha should have already found a way to revive/awaken Nabu. Also, couldn’t just Bloom recharge his “batteries”? I mean I recall that Morgana told the Winx in season 4 that he was exhausted and just in a slumber state - not Dead. And yes - what happened to “Love & Pet” and their loved fairy pets? So much trouble in season 4 for this… Also, when you looked at the paused frames of the characters, which Thomas has put, their faces look so ridiculously funny and brainwashed. Haha Furthermore I did enjoy the vampire themed episode but the vampires were so generic. The Gardenia outfits are way better than their “casual” outfits this season. And I loved the “Broom Bloom” scene - it was a masterpiece! PS I will never forgive Nickelodeon for ruing Stella and Aisha’s source of power!
Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I do believe the Tv show you’re looking for is called “What We Do in the Shadows” it’s on Hulu, and it’s so absurdly hilarious. Hope this helps!!!
Fun fact : Mitzy was also in the party,You can see her wearing her bad fairy outfit when chatta try to questioning the people that are infected the people lolol
Silver applies to Vampires only in the sense that mirrors used to be backed with it and that's the reason they don't reflect, since silver is a pure metal and vampires are anything but. Or so the classic lore says. This would also imply that they can see themselves fine in modern mirrors
I just thought of a whole scenario that could've made this more interesting. Here it is: So, have the vampires come from the Magical Universe, but for their myth, they can absorb magic, and then use that magic to evolve their bodies, and then copy the powers based on the type of magic they feed on. Say, if one took Flora's energy, Flora being Fairy of Nature they'd grow plants and vines on their body and have nature-related powers, growing vines, pollen blasts, poison blasts. Or say, if they took Musa's energy, Musa being Fairy of Music, they'd grow speakers on their shoulders or have musical notes engraved onto their skin (which...sounds fucking gross and could make for potential nightmare fuel), then start releasing sonic waves, the ability to influence people through sound, maybe even creating magic speakers. Thus, the "generic energy blasts" this time around would work against the Winx as it enables the vampires to evolve. At the same time, it'd give a reason to keep Bloom from being center stage as, if she tries, then the other Winx would say, "Wait, wait, wait, no. NO. What if they ate your power? You know, the power of the Dragon Flame? The magic that made our whole dimension? What happens then?" So, Bloom would have to stay back, and the Winx would have to fight more creatively. Then, the vampires do the same, tricking Bloom into attacking them, by say, going for Lockette? Then, their leader takes on the Flame's powers, and mutates into a dragon-vampire hybrid. Kind of like Valtor's actual form. But then, since the Dragon Flame is well, made from the power of a god, the new dragon-vampire loses control and goes batshit on everybody. Yeah. That's my idea.
But then THAT would imply that PopPixie is canon in the Winx universe, in which it shouldn’t because PopPixie is in an alternate universe whose continuity doesn’t match the main show
Uhh... why isn't Bloom's Dragon Fire magic effective against the vampire creatures? Vampires do not like fire either as it's bright and hot and it'll disintegrate them if they made contact with it. Great job writers...
As an og Stella stan thank you for the Stella rant lol. Stella isn't the character type I normally like but I dunno something about her made me love her as a kid and I love her now. Probs the sass and the fashion lol. (Also her having the best relationship with Brandon.) I have not watched the later seasons and I'm not going to cos I know what they do to Stella lol.
I'm rewatching your commentary to fulfill my Winx Club nostalgia needs and noticed you referenced James Somerton in this one... Have you seen HBomberguy's recent video on him?😅
"Shut up pixies, I'm trying to listen to one to one! " SAME. But can we also talk about why they were playing one to one, which Riven wrote himself for Musa, at a Halloween party on earth? Like that's not even from the same dimension, like, did riven and Musa go off releasing singles and we never knew about it?? Omg that could be such a good storyline like they are just off releasing albums together #powercouple
Am I the only one who pictured the LittleKuriboh "shut up, Mokuba" line replaced with "shut up, Trix" when The Unicorn of War told them to shut up? XDDD In all seriousness though, this was a nice review! Looking forward to your Hallowinx one!
@@derrickdaniels3955 Not that I know of but it’s a running gag in Yugioh abridged that Kaiba always tells Mokuba to shut up…so it should be a running gag with the unicorn of war telling people to shut up too. :3
If anyone knows Steven Universe and the movie try to imagine Roxy or Daphne being in Spinel's position. U know, when Pink Diamond was lying to come back and abandoning Spinel for 6000 years. So here I though it's the Winx Club or Rainbow doing the exact same thing with Roxy or Daphne
I love Halloween episodes I enjoyed them when I was younger. I love the black outfits that Stella made and I like that she saved the day. I also like the outfits with the top hats. I would love it if they showed more Bloom and Selina in season 6. I loved those episodes.
This is a magical cartoon based on mythical creatures vampire included.. I lost it when bloom said "they only exist in legends ". Don't faires also exist in legends ?
They could've also done smth like Bloom running away from her problems to Gardenia, classical Bloom, only for her problems (the legendarium) to follow her to Gardenia. She tries fighting the vampires alone but shes out numbered, and her friends come to save the day and she learns a lesson. Another thing thats bugging me is that mostly whenever they let anyone other than Bloom be relevant, its Stella. They rarely let any of the other girls save the day. We did get that one episode were Flora beats Icy up but tbh that episode kind of sucked
That reminds me! The entire Stella being downgraded into the fairy of the sun and not the moon actualy isnt a thing in german! In the german dubs she actualy calls herself the fairy of the sun and moon curiously. So german scripts writers realy went "No, she was the Sun and moon fairy previously, i will change that. Me, as a localiser!"

This is why Stella is my most favorite Winx club fairy
Always excited for a new Unicorn of War content. Always take a break as your mental health is more important than the RUclips algorithm.
Because RUclips hates creators
@@derrickdaniels3955 that’s true. Some even get Patreon because of that.
@@jbbelenkokoro2673 Thats answers many of my questions
I can’t be the only one that thinks this episode could’ve been where Stella got her bloomix? Except she got it with a t r i p l e b a c k f l i p
29:04 you know what I would have preferred is that when Stella said "magic winxs" and was interrupted she accidentally activated the first transformation instead of just not transforming at all that would have been way better
I'd laugh so hard
But again, we can't have nice things
I literally just refreshed youtube to get something to watch while I have dinner. Nice timing. :D
Oh my gosh! more content! thank you, I have been checking youtube daily for more Winx Club!
Also just finished chapter 1 of your book and already loving where it's going!
the moment you realize this season had FOUR villains. And they all did NOTHING.
edit: OH MY GOD! and there was all those monsters too.
Can you PLEASE talk about Mirta, she is so underrated and forgotten
I love how they bring back chrs from older season like the girl that pushes Stella is from season 2. Also some of the goons with purple hair and white suits are also there. Idk I js love it
10:20 Now why is one of Alfea's teachers just randomly hanging out in Gardenia...
13:19 "HALLOWINX IS ICONIC" Totally agree! ^^
As someone who stopped watching Winx after episode 4 this season just feel like it was fanmade seizure
I think you just nailed why every season after 4 feels weird. They each feel like a wattpad fanfic. Season 5 had the self inserts, season 6 has the mary sue...
@@Kiterpuss which is disappointing knowing they castrated this series from its originality because kids can't have deep and well written show
@@Kiterpuss wait where did s5 had self inserts omg
@@Kiterpuss please don’t insult us fans with the level of plot.
My unborn baby brother can come up with something better than this.
At 14:20 there's a guy in the background that looks suspiciously like that one guy from the black circle, he's also visible in the crowd at several other points
17:11 Winx continuity be like: We still want to pretend like all of the events of the previous seasons did happen but we just don't want any of the consequences. 😂😂😂
Bless cuz i was starting to watch old videos i've already seen multiple times
So much trouble in season 4 for this…
Also, when you looked at the paused frames of the characters, which Thomas has put, their faces look so ridiculously funny and brainwashed. Haha
Furthermore I did enjoy the vampire themed episode but the vampires were so generic.
Lots of love to you Thomas!! Take care of yourself!! We're here when you return or not cause you've already made our lives a little more magical
Fun fact : Mitzy was also in the party,You can see her wearing her bad fairy outfit when chatta try to questioning the people that are infected the people lolol
22:30 “Kill all of the shonen”
Wait, even Puella Magi Madoka Magica? That show is awesome, I don’t want it be disregarded.
EDIT: Grammar
OH MY GOD YES PLEASE, A HALLOWINX EPISODE😭😭😭
Silver applies to Vampires only in the sense that mirrors used to be backed with it and that's the reason they don't reflect, since silver is a pure metal and vampires are anything but. Or so the classic lore says. This would also imply that they can see themselves fine in modern mirrors
I just thought of a whole scenario that could've made this more interesting. Here it is:
So, have the vampires come from the Magical Universe, but for their myth, they can absorb magic, and then use that magic to evolve their bodies, and then copy the powers based on the type of magic they feed on.
What happens then?"
So, Bloom would have to stay back, and the Winx would have to fight more creatively.
That's a really cool idea
I wish they could atleast include the pixie's pop pixie form to show growth atleast by season 3
But then THAT would imply that PopPixie is canon in the Winx universe, in which it shouldn’t because PopPixie is in an alternate universe whose continuity doesn’t match the main show
@Will N still, i still think the PopPixie continuity should not be in the main winx show
Talk about Tinkerbell and totally spies
Uhh... why isn't Bloom's Dragon Fire magic effective against the vampire creatures? Vampires do not like fire either as it's bright and hot and it'll disintegrate them if they made contact with it. Great job writers...
Yay let's go new vid finnaly. Oh and video idea: Ranking Winx designs
"Why not train with wings" finally a use for butterflix! It meets the outfit requirements to
the plants comically coming to life ?! 😭 in earlier seasons she would just put her hand on the plant and hear it
I'm excited for this video! That said, take as much time as you need because your mental health and enjoyment is more important
I need I Hallowinx episode that had me terrified for months when I first seen it now I look at it as just a masterpiece.
love and pet cameo’d in season 7 with no significance whatsoever HELP
As an og Stella stan thank you for the Stella rant lol. Stella isn't the character type I normally like but I dunno something about her made me love her as a kid and I love her now. Probs the sass and the fashion lol. (Also her having the best relationship with Brandon.) I have not watched the later seasons and I'm not going to cos I know what they do to Stella lol.
YES!!! WE NEED FAIRYTAIL CONTENT
Side note I love your laugh it’s so chaotic and hilarious 😂 especially the joke about the curser with Lockette
30:40 yeah it's so annoying this season 😭 It's either "they're too powerful" or they "can’t be defeated with magic" 💀
Does anyone remember that one Sailor Moon special in which Usagi and the gang fought a
vampire by using their garlic breath? Good times.
Icy's voice still hurts me! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Not on a Winx topic at all, but I'm glad to see you changed your mind on the 90s Sailor Moon. lol Glad to have another fan.
I would love to watch you talk about Fairy Tail if you wanted. ^w^ Love watching your videos as well.
I'm rewatching your commentary to fulfill my Winx Club nostalgia needs and noticed you referenced James Somerton in this one... Have you seen HBomberguy's recent video on him?😅
I detail I just noticed about bloom and Stella's friend ship their bloomix crowns colored are inverted 😍
Stella‘s power source in German and French already is sun and moon. Not many languages dubbed it like that
Thank you for gracing us with content
No, what the Trix have isn't friendship. That's sisterhood. A clear difference!
I need a spin off about the Trix.we should know where they came from
"Shut up pixies, I'm trying to listen to one to one!
XDDD
In all seriousness though, this was a nice review! Looking forward to your Hallowinx one!
Is that where the Shut Up sound edit comes from.
😂
I love Halloween episodes I enjoyed them when I was younger. I love the black outfits that Stella made and I like that she saved the day. I also like the outfits with the top hats. I would love it if they showed more Bloom and Selina in season 6. I loved those episodes.
Not you actually playing Daylight by TS. 😭😂😭😂😭😂😭
This is a magical cartoon based on mythical creatures vampire included.. I lost it when bloom said "they only exist in legends ".
Don't faires also exist in legends ?
"Hey Flora, sorry you almost died, but you're in charge now."
-Bloom
Flora: Thank you 😊
They could've also done smth like Bloom running away from her problems to Gardenia, classical Bloom, only for her problems (the legendarium) to follow her to Gardenia.
"I need to talk about fairy tail" OKAY YES PLEASE, ID BE ALL FOR IT!!
The windows error bit got me. Well done.
😂
OMG IM SO EXCITED FOR MIDNIGHTS
Klaus Mikaelson need to come in and show these knockoff vampires how it’s done🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes!! Currently watching season 1 of the originals!!
It's here! Don't worry about the break.
Edit:also, at this point I'm just unable to accept your pronunciation of all Italian words.
