  • The All Day Beret has been updated and is now called the Any Day Beret! It is an easy knit beret hat pattern. It's knit from the bottom up in the round.
    This knit hat pattern uses an eye-catching diagonal spiral pattern, which I'll show you how to do in this video. In fact, I show you step-by-step all that you need to know in order to work this hat from start to finish. Therefore, it's a great pattern to try as a beginner knitter.

    MARLY, this is a great project to help Knitters learn how to follow a pattern... And... The finished hat looks great.... Thank you... I especially appreciated your hint showing us how to avoided the dreaded ladders when using DPN’s.
    What brand of DPN’s were you using? I really don’t like my Bamboo ones...

    hi I really enjoyed watching your video .... 😊😊 I wanna ask if I can use knit two together instead of SSK or not and thanks for your efforts 😁😁😁

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  8 лет назад +2

      +Adam Mahdy thanks for the compliment! If you use a k2tog the decreased stitch will lean to the right when you want the stitch to lean to the left. That is why the pattern has you do the SSK. Having said that, if you choose to use a k2tog instead and call the look a design feature I don't think anybody would say anything :-)

    • @roshafikry8702

      +Marly Bird thanks for your answer I am gonna use yours. ... you are the best 😘 😘 😘

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  7 лет назад +1

      the SSK leans to the Left and the K2tog leans to the Rights. So for the the decreases to look correct, it is important to do the SSK ;-)

    I missed lesson on how to knit on circular needles into a flat piece. Ex...blanket. It won’t lay flat kkeeeps going in circle howfinisheach row or just use flat needles?

    • @MarlyBird
      @MarlyBird  7 лет назад

      You would have to adjust the pattern to have it knit flat then seamed.

    • @pitbull5422
      @pitbull5422 4 года назад

      You have to k1 p3 at row 2 for the diagonal stitch
