This was a lot of fun to make! My favorite moment in this cover is at 0:30. It's funny to see how the wind moved my hair a little bit just like Geoff's hair in VoicePlay's original video... It was totally not planned to look like that but it worked out very well xD

Dude!!! Me being 13 knowing growl for 2 and a half years, and at least 4 months of practice with subharmonic, You are doing a dang good job of subharmonics. Please keep posting because you earned another subscriber!!
Thank you very much!!! It took me waaay over a year to get my subharmonics to be somewhat usable so it’s nice to see that the practice is paying off.
And I will definitely keep posting things but it’s not that easy cause I don’t have a lot of time at the moment. But expect something new within the next 2 weeks!

The F1 was actually an ingressive phonation (inhale) note. But I added a very quiet F2 subharmonic to match the sound of the original a little bit better. This makes for a nice effect.

But the F1 is not actually a subharmonic, it‘s an inhale F1 with a subharmonic F2 layered on top to give it the subharmonic-like sound.

I have some advice for you for parts like elis try to add some rasp to your tone 😉 it can really make a difference but besides that awesome job and that was a good F1 especially for a tenor

@@nightmared4103 Thanks! Yeah, my higher chest notes still need more work but I‘ll get there eventually. And you‘re correct, I could’ve definitely used a bit more reverb on the vocals in this video.
TRULLY EXCEPTIONAL, How did you manage to sing that so accurate?
I found someone who transcribed VoicePlay‘s arrangement (link in the description) and then I just tried to recreate it to the best of my abilities (at the time)

Sounds good! The only thing is, you sound very tight in the higher range, so try to relax more, and projecting your voice, singing out, will also help
Thanks! My voice is actually quite relaxed up to about D4/E4 in chest. But I have to agree that I still need to work on my upper range a lot!

It was actually inhale! But I cheated a bit ;) I layered a very quiet F2 subharmonic over the inhale F1 to get a similar overtone effect like in the original.
