  • 🌸 A Perennial Wildflower Garden and an Annual Wildflower Garden are VERY different things - using a small plot in our front garden, John shows you how to prepare the ground, which seeds and bulbs to plant and aftercare - you do not need acres of land or diggers to make a difference for the pollinators and insects 🌸 ** ADDITIONAL NOTES BELOW**

      Hello there - great to hear from you 💚and it’s always good to just give it all a go and see how you get on - Our garden is very wild at the mo as John has broken his leg but he is on the mend and it shouldn’t be too long before we get out again: if the rain would stay away as we are having a very damp summer! Hope all good with you and your family 😊 All the best Melanie 🌸

    Could the failure of the annual meadow to germinate be partly down to that they prefer fertile soil, unlike the wildflower meadow which prefers poor soil.

    • @JohnHorseyHorticulture
      @JohnHorseyHorticulture  Год назад

      Hello BudgieFan39 - thank you for watching our video and for your question 💚 germination is affected mainly by temperature and moisture but subsequent growth after germination is affected by nutrients We hope this helps Have a great week All the best Melanie and John 🌸
