I like the fx35 better and the sound with Nismo exhaust. That was the best sounding sub I've ever heard VQ35 ftw.

Hello. I've got some issues with my 2009 fx50s especially with the acceleration. On cold start up, it revs normally but after the temp goes up to the normal line, the acceleration is bogged and very sluggish and makes the shifting a nightmare. I got 2 codes showing sensor 1 on both bank 1 and 2 on the upstream catalytic converter. I want to go the downpipe route but there's no aftermarket downpipes for the fx50. Any chance I can mod the g37 aftermarket downpipe to fit the fx50? Also, how do I get it off as there is little to no space to work with. Your fx sounds amazing though

Sounds good but your fx35 had a better sound
it's a different motor and I'm more mature now. The obnoxiously loud Vq35 sounded good but was kind of dumb for an SUV. Thanks for the support!
Why did you switch back these mufflers vs your muffler delete? Im debating to either put a Borla cat back exhaust on my FX50 or save some money and do the muffler delete.
The Muffler delete sounded good but there was too much uncontrolled bass at the low end. Headache-inducing bass/drone.
The mufflers kept a similar sound but more refined.
I've actually recently removed the factory resonators so my exhaust is essentially headers straight back to the mufflers now and it sounds great. New vid up soon.

Jordan Baker You finally grown up now, go for the big boys cars like the AMG!!! I had a heavily modded S55 AMG that boosted 600hp+.

Did you sell it?? What problems do the FX50 have?? I'm interested in one but most for sale have 180K miles on them.
I sold it in 2019 after 9? years. The only pending issue was a starter on the way out AFAIK. The buyer blew the motor on the car a few months later.

@@kingofuseddurablecars.ls6040 They are known to be very reliable but I think the guy may have overreved it or something or maybe didnt keep an eye on oil consumption. Not sure. He changed the exhaust without re-tuning it. Nissan didnt use this in another car but it was the motor used for LeMans Prototype 2 series (LMP2) Racing and it's a pretty good engine overall. Plenty of them with high miles.

No, lol I got rid of it for the 50 a few years ago....
Extra weight added.... lesser whp than it already is.... good sound tone though...
Was lighter than the factory muffler, and the test pipes + tune add hp...
