Great looking bike! Idk if you found rear shocks yet but I got Race Tech GS3 14” for my 83 FXR and they’re amazing I paid $900 about.3 years ago. I often hear of people using Race Tech up front but not the rear but I couldn’t be happier with them
My FXR also has a mikuni and I finished a full restoration a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, I've already burned out two starters after some startup time, Always working on the number. It's just very difficult for him to crank the engine, although the clutch crown is not the standard 66 teeth for easy starting ... I'm trying to figure this out now. And by the way, I also put new 14-inch bitubo on it and noticed that over time their adjusting ring unwinds when shaking at idle, changing the length of one or the other. I also don't know what to do with it
I have not. But I have had the clone on for a couple months now and it has been perfect. It runs a little rough when it's cold...but even the real mikunis do. After 4 minutes it's ripping.
Progressive makes a 14.5 and I saw them at Low Brow custom for a good price. I went 2 over in the front and 4 over in the rear cause I'm big and didn't have the clearence. I hate leaning back in the seat.
Nice! Just found your channel. Gonna go back and watch this series from the beginning
Thanks so much! I have been struggling to make videos lately...but I'll be moving to Tennessee in about a month and the content should speed up.

I ended up finding a set of fox piggyback shocks for like $500. They are great
👍🏻
Looks like a solid fun bike !!
Yeah man. It's been a blast
Looking good man! I've been off the video train for a while too lol
Yeah dude, it's so much work. Plus now that the bike has been up and running...I don't have much to talk about. Just been riding a lot.

Great job but we didn't get to hear it
You're right. But...if you go back and watch some of the previous videos, I have a clip of it running.

The mikuni clone eh. Always heard bad things about them. Have you compared it to a real one?
