California's Desolate Copper Mines

- In Southern California, you can throw a stick in any direction and it will lead you to an abandoned mine. This adventure was a little more calculated, but we really didn't know what to expect with this one. Waste rock piles dot the upper reaches of the hills in this area. There are too many adits to count. While some were boring prospects, others held interesting bits of history almost lost to time. While the miner's hoped to strike it rich with high-grade ore bodies, we hoped only to find the artifacts they left behind.

Nice little explore! The colors in the mine looked aesthetically pleasing especially on your camera. Stone wall was interesting too 🤔
Copper mine in California ? I never heard of a copper mine in CA. Now I know why, they were not very big. Thanks again for the video and explore.
There was a few.. Not many mind you. It was more of a southeastern Arizona thing.
I saw some green at the beginning of the video up not much after. Strap rail for a low budget project.
Looks like a Spam can.
They called it, "Miner's Steak".
The square cans with a key to open them were from Spam.
Spam= ShitPosingAsMeat... just heard that one... still Lmao.
@@martinr1834 And more salt than you need for a month! 😝
I cannot imagine a human being in a hallway, and thinking that was some sort of 'mining' operation.
Are gold, silver, copper or zinc deposits in straight and level lines, inside the earth?
Why would "miners' dig straight and level tunnels to mine?
They sure weren't following any natural vein inside earth. (your thumbnail shows a perfect train tunnel or any other hallway, no mining operation would do that.
