Interesting find of the Beckers beer bottle, it was established in Ogden Utah in the late eighteen hundreds, when probation hit the beer brewing was moved here to Evanston Wyoming which was still a "wet" state , both brewer's were closed by 1968 I believe, cool find though.
That one looks a bit damp. Don't you love slogging around the mine with a harness on? If you didn't already know Coke bottles generally have a two number date embossed on the waist below the belly. It can be a little hard to spot. Nice job, thanks for the tour!
Hi Graham, you did a pretty neat job of showing just how big certain area's were, it's hard to make out the height or depth or size sometimes on camera, so good job. Those 2 green Coke bottles were a really cool find, it's not that often you will come across them from the 40's that are still intact. Oh boy, on to the next 12 hours in the next video lol. Becker's Beer changed it's premium beer name from Becker's Best to Becker's American Pilsner around the start of WWII according to their published history.
The gas station where I worked in High School (1964-68) had a Coke machine that used those bottles. Cost 10 cents LOL So they were in use for decades. It was always fun to check the bottom to see where the bottles originated. They came from all over the country. Whichever guy had the one from farthest away got to buy the next round.
The coke bottles date back to the 40s but I remember buying a coke in high school 1969 that looked the same. Back then people keep them to get the refund, 5 empty bottles got me a fresh coke.
Just saw what you showed on the screen just before 14 minutes 45 seconds. If the channel producer sees this comment and they wish to maybe have more of those. I know of a location where there's about 5 ft maybe worth of these things just in the ground but they're up in the tri-state area if that's near you. If you're interested I could give a location and then you could remove the comment. Recently the property was sold so myself giving permission to dig these up isn't a thing anymore although the new people seem pretty cool. It's mixed in with metal cans though I don't know if that'll hurt the items over such a long period of time but the ones I picked up , they definitely manipulated the light quite well in a fine way

Those Coca-Cola bottles are cool. I wonder if that glass was made with uranium they had made glassware with uranium in it.

Get a Geiger meter so you can test those bottles
