Thanks for the video. I can provide a little more context on Ko as a Korean fan. He trains under former ufc welterweight Dong Hyun Kim, who is more confident with judo/bjj. In a recent training video at Bang Tao Muay Thai in Phuket, Ko didn’t allow any takedowns in a cage wrestling drill with 10+ trainees in a row. Anyway, I wish the best for Ko but he is underdog +250 on tapology and won’t be an easy fight for sure.
I think Ko is a great talent. His takedown defense has looked good from what I can tell. I highlighted his sprawling ability as well because he seems to be very quick with those. I’m rooting for him but I wish we had a little more to go off of in regards to his opponent. If the number keeps growing I may have to bet him and just play the odds.
a lot of these DWCS lines are nonsense and flip at the slightest the only reason the korean is the underdog is because he has been knocked out twice, otherwise he would be the favorite most likley purley skill wise i do thinik he is better but it comes down to if he gets knocked out early
@dwoh4345 his opponent starts each fight like he’s shot out of a cannon from what I can tell. If Ko survives the first minute or so it could easily sway to his side. Just hard to know with limited tape on his opponent.
Igor has a brown belt in jiu jitsu, its stated on his official Instagram . There is a pic of him also winning a medal. He might be a all around fighter.
He does, but jiujitsu accolades don’t necessarily translate to MMA. How many black belts have we seen get subbed by lower BJJ ranks? I only feel good about mentioning things I’ve seen fighters actually use in MMA fights. I did watch one of his grappling matches though and he does seem to be proficient on the ground for sure.
I think you’re right about that. It’s so hard to tell in this case but this fight should tell us a lot. It should be a fun fight either way just based on the way Igor starts fast and Ko is always down to scrap.
I feel ya 138. I don't know what to do with this one. I'm getting fruad vibes but at the same time I the thinking this guy maybe a killer. His ape index is friggin ridiculous. He basically has a 80 inch wing span...a welterweight with a heavyweight reach. But no tape, no IG workouts and only a few BJJ belt progressions. A purple belt I think. O' ya can't forget less than 16 minutes in the cage. He could gas...
@@takingyourtopknot4311 I’m not sure how many rounds. But I’m sure he has only improved and apparently he had the cardio to go the distance and win to at that level.
@@jacobshaffer7267 Don't get me wrong Jacob...I think Cavalcanti wins in the first rnd. But with no tape to access his Cardio. I have to take that into consideration while handicapping a fighter. I think the line wide but KO doesn't strike me as killer.
Went 15 EURO in total Shannon by Tko or sub Igor by tko or sub 2 EURO fold Ko to Win 3 euro Shannon by tko or sub again Currie to win 10 euro What ever happens happens we will see
I’ve heard this but in his MMA fights he seems to prefer to strike. I was hoping to see him grapple more in MMA. This might be the fight he showcases it.
@@138MMA you can do anything in sambo just as in mma there are striking heavy and grappling heavy fighters, but of course all sambo champions are well rounded
@dwoh4345 right, my assumption based on his sambo background is that he didn’t get by simply by striking. He seems to have a taekwondo style in his striking.

Bro u dont need to open all the info about him, if you support ko.
Igor will be knocked out on tuesday.
Would love to see Ko come out and get an impressive win!
Been waiting for this video after Anderson vs Pulayev fight lol made some good change!
Heck yeah brother! Glad to hear it. 👊
You’re hilarious lowkey. Good breakdown
Thanks brother! I appreciate that! Now if you could just tell my gf how hilarious I am…. 😅
Dude I can’t even open tapology on my phone without that shit causing a internal combustion within my phone.
🤣 right!? That shit is awful!
Weird I got no problems with pop up ads on tapology

Igor is either gonna be an absolute savage or a complete fraud haha guys like this u never know which end of the spectrum you gonna get

I seen he did go to a decision in boxing as an amateur so he must have some cardio.

Good job last week with Pulyev hehe, this week i am gonna bet my house to cavalcantti hahaha. keep the work
Thanks man, he appeared to be the clear side.
Best of luck! I’d suggest roulette instead. Better odds and same level of risk going in.

Do you use bovada at all to bet?
I don’t. Used to but they started skimming off my account so I quit.
@@138MMA damn. Trying to find a good sport book in tx. Might just quit using bovada too then
@jrz2900 betonline is the best one I’ve found. They are not perfect but they always pay out and typically are first to get lines out.
@@138MMA alrightttt preciate ya ima go check that out 💯 took a fat L on the cards tonight lol
Sure thing!
I had an okay night but unfortunately the only thing anyone will remember is that I picked Clark 😅
Biggest upset in contender series history just screwed my parlay.. going will currie by sub and Seok Hyun Ko. 2 leg +957
Hang in there Justin, next week we will get em. Tough week for anyone with parlays.
Went 15 EURO in total
Shannon by Tko or sub
Igor by tko or sub
2 EURO fold
Ko to Win
3 euro
Shannon by tko or sub again
Currie to win
10 euro
What ever happens happens we will see
I don’t mind those plays at all! Let’s hit it!
Seok Hyun Ko is combat sambo champion like Islam so he has great wrestling and grappling.
I’ve heard this but in his MMA fights he seems to prefer to strike. I was hoping to see him grapple more in MMA. This might be the fight he showcases it.

How about Ko's wrestling?
@user-my7oy1mr9c looked good! Glad we got to see him use it in this one. That answered a lot of questions I had.
Igor -300
Seok +240
That line seems so strange to me because I can’t understand how they got there.
K o K o ~

🙏 thank you!!! This is very helpful!
It looks like his opponent has no will to fight back from the beginning.
@leggojoungens8267 I was thinking the same thing. 👊
Much appreciated!!
@@138MMAI was able to find a couple more fights of his and a grappling match by searching "Igor Jacare" too, if youre interested👊
