I recommend looking into using spray foam insulation to turn your attic into a conditioned space, fully enclosed with foam. It'll prevent ice dams from forming and generally improves your home's insulation. I have it done on my current home and love it, highly recommended.

Always love your landscaping, makes the yard just pop even more. It's one thing we have started doing more of is getting flowers and color around the yard.

Might need a snow splitter to protect the venting on the roof for the fireplace. I’ve removed a few vents that were damaged pretty good just from the snow. The roof brackets you have might help a little bit though, but I would double check the storm collar seal for damage.

Man that snow is crazy. I live in Western Australia and that is just completely foreign haha. I love the snow (on holidays) but I don’t know if I would want to deal with that on a yearly basis!
Just watched further and saw it’s not a yearly occurrence.. so I was wondering. When ur houses get built do they get engineered to withstand large amount of snow on the roof in snow prone areas? I imagine all that snow would weigh a lot and put alot of pressure on ur rafters?

That is insane how much snow you got. You could have mixed the snow in with the pile of potting soil instead of water. There is plenty of that lol.

You should have sprayed that potting soil with a wetting agent or even some dish soap. It would absorb the water better.

I do. One row which want enough. The back porch meaked in the soffit. Not in the house. Front porch valley leaked into house from ice dam. I shoveld it and it fixed the problem. This summer heat cable everywhere

@Connor Ward I've managed to eek out a Cl Clipper manual reel mower and it's first cut at 3/4in yesterday went OK. No one reviews them, look it up and see what ya think. No engine, and not a golf course mower but it's rugged and old school.
