I cant find the asus 90 on my phone and yes the cable is in the blue lan port and got internet but i can't connect with the router that way somebody knows how to fix this??
Hi, im not sure if the official or default ssid is the same with mine, but you can check under the unit that there is a small sticker indicating the default ssid, you can try to check it there and connect, if not available you can try to force reset the router with the small hole with a pin then try again..
Does it work wirelessly with an Xfinity modem? Like can I place the router in my bedroom to have it wired to my laptop while the modem is in living room?
Hi Johnny, when you say wirelessly with an xfinity modem, you are referring to using it as a repeater, it will work, but i dont suggest on using it just as a repeater.
@@JKChavez I have the Xfi pods 2nd gen with Xfinity modem cable 200mbps plan..i get about 140 mbps wired to the pods is that good for gaming or does it have bad ping and latency? I kinda feel like im doing worse in multiplayer online games

I think it is not possible since ISP Router are designed and configure to become the source of your internet, However if you are referring to which you want the 3rd Party Routers to act as your main router, you can configure your ISP router and hide its ssid so it will be undetectable

I currently get 1.4G through Xfinity. I’m buying the AX11000 pro and a Nighthawk 2.5G cable modem. I plan to hardwire Ethernet to a 2.5G switch (D-Link DMS 106XT actually has one 10g port) and then to my two gaming computers. My question is this? Should I connect the modem to the 10G port and then run Ethernet to my 2.5G switch using the 2.5G port on the back of the AX11000 pro? If I connect the 2.5G modem to the 2.5 port on the AX11000 pro and then run just a 1G line to my switch won’t I be bottlenecking the system?
I don’t know if the AX11000 will be confused if I connect the modem to the 10G port with my much lower speeds. It’s just not clear to me why you wouldn’t connect to the 10G port on the router 100% of the time unless there’s an issue with the routing.
Am I overthinking this?
Hi honestly i have not tried to connect a lan from my modem router to the 10g port for i dont have more than gigabit internet subscription.
if you will be using the gigabit port of the ax11000 to your switch you will bottleneck the full potential of your internet subscription, because devices connected to that switch will be only able to utilize a maximum of gigabit internet connection.
you only have 1.4Gbps from xfinity so there is no point of connecting it to the 10Gbps lan port of the ax11000 pro, i would rather reserve or use that 10Gb lan port to connect to your switch. or a NAS,
there is no routing issue when you want to use the 10GB lan/wan port, it is just that it can be used for other things
Help!!! Can I use this router besides my spectrum router??
Hi Jessica, i have not tested or used any spectrum router, and it is not available here in the Philippines, by default you can connect this gt-ax1000 pro to your source of internet like maybe your spectrum router to have better wifi experience.
The huawi modem is fiber optic ? Or 5g?

for the modem any modem that your Internet service provider provided (as long as it is working).
This modem support DSL? And if I have a 7mbps what speed can I reach?
hi Elia, unfortunately, this unit is just a wifi router, (not sure if in other countries there is a version that has a built-in modem).
in general, the speed that you get from your modem router using lan cable to computer will be the same speed you will get by adding a third-party wifi router..

Hi Yoby, there are two optons, if gagamit ka ng lan cable as backhaul sa mesh node mo, cheapest asus ax mesh router kunin mo po lke ax1800hp or better the ax53u.
if totally wireless aimesh ka po, i would suggest a triband asus wifi router din, like zen wifi xt8, para sulit ung triband an sobrang minimal ung bawas sa internet speed mo po..

If you will be using it as a personal home router and want it plug and play, this will be the best option for you.

this is a third party device that needs to be connected to an internet source (internet service provider). Once you have purchased this device just connect it to your modem, no additional monthly fees for this device.

@@JKChavez when I did a speed test it was about 56 of the blue that’s before I connected to the router now when I connected the router it was the same and when I connected the Ethernet to the modem it was 57

Hi, unfortunately, hindi po, since wala pong modem capability ung mga third party wifi router na usually available sa market... kaya need po talaga lan cable from fiber modem to third party wifi router like this asus gt-ax11000 pro po..

Hi Mark, unfortunately hindi po, ung bigay ni ISP is modem router, ung modem capability yung actually needed to have internet access while ung mga available sa mga store such as this one is wifi router, walang modem capability, and responsibility ng wifi router is manage ung mga connected devices..
Try niyo bumili ng media converter tas tanggalin mo ung sc connector sa isp router (ung blue) tas iconnect mo sa media converter. Then iconnect mo ung router sa media converter
Sir question lang po, nag speedtest ako nasa 100 yung dl speed ko at 90 yung up speed pero pag nag ml ako nasa 28-36 parin ping ko, need po ba mag add ng router para bumaba yung ping? Gamit ko po is yung router po ng pldt. Thanks po

Hi sir, unfortunately walang direct answer, one way to find out if magiging okay ang latency mo is test ung lan port nung pldt modem like for example, play a game sa desktop or laptop using lan cable check ung latency nya on the game, then after try via wifi connection using the same laptop or desktop, if magkaiba ng latency or mas okay yung latency na nakukuha mo via Lan cable, pedeng may issue yung wifi capability nung stock modem router po, and it can actually help by adding a third party wifi router like this one.
good thing about third party wifi router like this from asus is may mga QOS function siya, to prioritize yung traffic na gusto mo, like if maraming naka connect pede mo prioritize yung gaming.

Hi Kevin, unfortunately i have not tried that TP-link ax6600, and im not sure if that triband will be able to use one of the wifi frequencies as a dedicated backhaul if ever you choose to create a mesh network. So for me I would choose the GT-AX11000 Pro, since one frequency can be used a dedicated backhaul for mesh.
I have rog and tplink. Rog is faster and tplink wants all of your personal info.
Gano kalakas signal nyan kaya ba nyan mag penetrate sa mga walls,
kaya naman po nya mag penetrate ng walls, and good talga signal nya, pero it will still depends on your wall construction like if super kapal ng wall or what materials used, pero it is visible po sa video na even in between floors i was able to access the internet.,.
How to reset it ?
There is a small hole near lan port 1. which is the reset button..

Hi sir, hindi po, never ako nag bridgemode even on my test, baka kasi mas malito mga viewers ko kaya sa basic config lang talga, and never naman ako nag ka issue sa double nat, and smooth pa din naman nakukuha ko kahit d ako naka bridge mode.. :)

Hi, clarify po muna natin, ung ASUS wifi routers or other third party routers are more capable pag dating sa wifi range po, mas stable ung wireless connection ng device upto the wifi router.. kung ang issue po na signal is from your internet service provider (GLobe\smart\Dito
ocketsim) hindi po makakatulong ung third party wifi routers.. matutulong nila is mas lumawak ung wifi sa area nyo and stable ung wifi connection..
Reminder!!!! When u have a firmware update it is RECOMMENDED BY ASUS to factory reset. So if you have automatic updates and you have issues and dont know why, try this.

Hi, I apologize for the missing information, I or other reviewer does not always mention the modem name\provider, because it is not a big issue since you just need a lan port from your modem regardless of the brand or carrier, and everything needs to be configured in the third party wifi router.
