This was not just a concert... It was a homecoming.. A celebration... Gives me chills.. Another classic from the 100's of songs contributed to the American Songbook by Bruce Springsteen... These are not just songs... They are unique jems... Sorry I wasn't there but thanks for giving me an opportunity to witness the moment...
What a show to be at! One for the ages. I'm super jelaous of those who were there but glad he still plays this early material. LOVE IT. Love love love the 1973-1975 stuff.
I loved this song from the first time I heard it on a bootleg…I couldn’t believe it…I loved the guitar and the vocals the way it went all over the place…this was classic Bruce. Obviously it holds up.
I was there and it was absolutely magical. A 3 1/2 hour love letter to Asbury Park, a homecoming, it was just gorgeous and I truly feel blessed to have been there.
That put a smile on my face! I just remember crusin' Asbury just yards from that spot with that song playing from my cassette deck from the Main Point show!
Man the Asbury Park crows seems to barely even know this song. He should have debuted here in Philly where we all revel in it's greatness and sing along like it's a chart topping superhit. Afterall, it is the song that cracked the Liberty Bell back at the Main Point in '73!

Love Thundercrack. One of those great Bruce songs that didn't make it to a studio record but I just love it!!
