It was an epic night! I saw 2 shows on this tour and ending it off with Jersey Girl in Asbury Park just hit right! He had everyone rocking the whole 3 hours 😂
What a treat to hear these songs come back to life with these awesome arrangements... Another magic moment thanks to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.... thanks for posting !
OMG! Asbury Park... Does this Bus... what a legendary night! "man the dope's that there is still hope"... It takes me right back to my teenage years when I first discovered Bruce and his early albums. Even though I've never been to those places, it felt like I was part of the stories and legends he crafted. Now, listening to this brings back such a deep sense of nostalgia for those times.
OH MY GOD, love love LOVE "Bus Stops at 82nd street?" and the rest of the material from Greetings. What a privilege to be there! It's sad he never plays that stuff over here in Europe but I'm happy he still plays them elsewhere anyway.
I was at the show two days prior to this. None of the early stuff. Shame he didn't warm a few of these tunes up for us. Not that they needed to be warned to
I was hoping Bruce would open the show w/ this great, classic tune. Oh well, it was his 2nd tune! And the night just continued to get better and better!
¡Menudo chaval de 75 años! ¡Suenan como si no hubiera pasado el tiempo desde que creó estas maravillas! ¡Dios salve a Bruce!
Sat at the airport on my way back still on a huge high from last night. Most incredible experience and so glad made it. Thank you for this video, reliving it while fresh in the memory 😊
I was there. Last U.S. show of the tour, in AP, 50th anniversary of the Pony ... of course he had to make it special! The first half of the show was a present to us diehards. Blinded, Thundercrack, Growin' Up, 82nd Street, Sandy, Racing ... and later on he played Meeting Across the River, threw out the Letter to You songs and the soul stuff. It was FANTASTIC.
@@TechnicallyEvan Sounds like the perfect setlist. I would have driven all night back to Pittsburgh for work this morning. Didn't look at going until last night and realized it was probably going on when I was looking. Oh well
Bruce and the band were great at MetLife 2023 shows, but the sound engineering and video was terrible. Could not hear Roy at all from where I sat, and the video was zoomed in on Bruce almost the entire night with a weird beige background that I soon discovered was a blurry zoom-in on his facial skin. Paid 500 bucks for that? Seeing Bruce with my son was worth it, but I can't help but think the folks at MetLife take advantage of the fact that Bruce always sells out there no matter how bad the production is.

He never plays them here either - never, that is, except for Sunday night. Some truly magical moments ❤️

He’s such a dick. We go from the most aggressively mediocre setlists imaginable to this. It constantly eludes me.
Knew it would be a special night in Asbury … took no chances here ! Had an amazing spot and the setlist was out of this world
@@TechnicallyEvan my write-up of it -- totally agree wrt setlist content. mattorel.blogspot.com/2024/09/springsteen-e-street-band-asbury-park.html

Three words - Bring Back Vini.
Were the Metlife 2023 shows as good as this show?
