      Smell can tell you the state of your compost. Plus it just smells good!

    You seem like you’re in a dry climate. Do you add water to the piles?

      Yeah I definately keep the compost watered. Particularly in the summer months.

      Absolutely we do yes. Mostly from their bedding material but their manure also gets deposited as they work in the yard.
