I can get this for free all the time from my pastor. Honestly, this video is a combination of Sunday school lessons and what my parents lectured to me.
That bit about caring for your parents at the end of their life hit me so hard , Im grateful I could care for my mother and see her off in peace, its something ill always remember and cherish
Wow, I agree with almost everything here, except that “this is IT. 9:44.” This life is too simple to end this way. I know HELL exists, because he got me out of it twice, but God wants us to choose to be with him or not. Most of the world knows of Jesus Christ now, so he’s coming back soon. But will never force you into the relationship. Scott, if you choose to believe, you will see your kids again. And possibly even watch over your grandchildren.
Christopher Freeze You beat me to it...except for the Africa thing (I know it’s a metaphor), there’s a lifetime of “experiences” you can have in “the best zip code in the world” and still keep your Family safe. If it’s just you, knock yourself out on the amount of “danger” (real/perceived) to expose yourself too.
I don't ever expect to find someone I'm mutually attracted to (physically), align with my values, AND aligns with my financial philosophies. That's a unicorn.
Jordan Petersen, Tim Ferris & Steve Jobs walk into a room. Only one man comes out... Scott Galloway. Thank you Sir for your contribution, we are in your debt.
Damn, Scott! As a long time watcher of your vids, my expectations of your content are high, but this video broke new ground and reached a depth I was not expecting! Thank you for making this and sharing so honestly. As a 32-year-old "struggling" entrepreneur this is a much-needed reality check.
I'm so glad you did a video of this newsletter... I just turned 36, became a dad, am losing parents to alcoholism, had financial success early on but now am feeling lost hopping from one failed startup to another while getting no interest from my resumes because I can't dictate exactly what I want to do... this was such an inspiration. Thank you
Hope the last five years since this comment have been positive for you. If you ever care to share an update here, I’d very much be happy to get that RUclips alert.
I really have no idea why I just subscribed but every time I see one of these advertisements I always think, “ this guy has my respect” or “ I don’t know what he’s talking about but I want to hear more.” So after like 6 months of seeing ads for this channel I finally subbed. I love to hear this guys voice and care little tone and above all his incredible intellect on every subject discussed. Dammit advertising you win
I think I have watched about 80% of your videos. But this is the best yet. I salute you Prof. Scott Galloway. It easily qualifies as an inspirational video
Great observations and advice. However, IMO Professor Galloway misses one huge source of happiness, helping others. When I wonder why am I here and does anything matter I remind myself of the people I have helped and am helping. This brings me joy. Helping others may bring you joy as well.
Good shit Scott. I rarely comment on RUclips but I have been following you for a while and you give solid, no-bull, insights that are refreshing and appreciated. Keep up the good work
Never seen/heard so many life lessons in such a short duration of time! They're told in such a concise manner. I bet I'll watch it many many times in future and I'll try recommend it to as many people as I can.
You were one of the biggest reason I got back to school. Even though I'm only 23, you're an absolute inspiration. These videos really make a difference. I've learned more through you over the last 2+ years than I have in the econ classes I've enrolled in. Thank you Scott
just like a splendid wine, a reasonable dose of you makes for a good moment and you're improving with age. Thank you for your most satisfying post yet...
Thanks man I needed that. Gave me goosebumps listening to this video. It has been a year since my MBA graduation and “lost” is precisely what I am experiencing.
I am not the target audience for this channel, but that message of seniors on their younger selves was really warm Scott. I think I needed to hear that, thank you.
That was good. It hit home-I to took care of my dying mother for 2yrs. I watched jeopardy n wheel of fortune every night. with her n spent all day caring for her-it was my privilege.
Holy shit, this video is like a $400 an hour therapist for 6 months compressed in 10 minutes. Awesome stuff
And life coach, and nutritionist, and pastor, ...
Haha so true
I can get this for free all the time from my pastor.
Honestly, this video is a combination of Sunday school lessons and what my parents lectured to me.
It's very superficial information to be honest.
@@mechadoggy You got it free here in 10:25, all without the need of a gatekeeper to an invisible sky daddy.
I predict this will go down as one of the best youtube videos of all time.
BY FAR!
Joe 30 pack yeah he seems really happy
{Kanye shrug}
I was just about to write almost the exact same thing.
You have n0 idea
That bit about caring for your parents at the end of their life hit me so hard , Im grateful I could care for my mother and see her off in peace, its something ill always remember and cherish
The best, and most practical, video from the Prof yet! Keep on keepin' on!!!
That was an insult...
Not in the context of his statement starting at 1:23
This is awsome, I would agree!!

Wow.
50 years of wisdom condensed into 10 minutes.
I'm not going to lie. I rewatched this like 3 times. It feel like my future 65 yr old self talking to me in my 20's. 👍😁👍
One the best and most informative videos I’ve ever accidentally stumbled upon.
Me too. I don't know how the f*** I got here, but glad I did
I don't ever expect to find someone I'm mutually attracted to (physically), align with my values, AND aligns with my financial philosophies. That's a unicorn.
Your wish is your command.
Keep looking my friend. I'm living proof that you can achieve all three
You have hope you cant be that special. That there arent people that align in these three criteria too
Jordan Petersen, Tim Ferris & Steve Jobs walk into a room. Only one man comes out... Scott Galloway.
Thank you Sir for your contribution, we are in your debt.
This is solid advice. Right on.
The meaning and purpose of life wrapped up in a 5 minute RUclips video, a person really can find everything on RUclips
I need to watch this every Sunday night. Great stuff here 👊🏼
Another Professor Galloway Home Run
Ironically enough, I’ve learned the bulk of these lessons over many past Sundays, albeit Sunday mornings, not Sunday evenings
If I could recommend only 10 minutes of life advice to anyone, it is these 10 minutes. Thanks Scott!
Nailed it. Every bit of it was spot on. I greatly appreciate the harsh truths given here.
Damn, Scott! As a long time watcher of your vids, my expectations of your content are high, but this video broke new ground and reached a depth I was not expecting! Thank you for making this and sharing so honestly. As a 32-year-old "struggling" entrepreneur this is a much-needed reality check.
Just shared this on FB, i plan to rewatch this many times. Thanks for the upload.
This was awesome. It sums up all of the life one liners I've heard Scott say over the past 18+ months.
I've shared this video so many times with so many people. This is YT gold. Thank you, love your work Scott!
Not the usual video I expect from you guys, but probably one of my favourites that you've put out. Thanks
Sheesh....so many gems dropped! We appreciate you Scott!
On the day of your last L2 episode, I had to come back to this video. It helps validate that I'm on the right path. Thank you for everything.
AMAZING. Saved to rewatch, thanks Professor.
I only leaned of this man a year ago, wished I found him years ago,
I've been watching this channel for a while and have greatly enjoyed most of the videos, but this one by far will stay with me the longest. Thank you!
This was incredibly timely.
I needed that. Thank you Mr Galloway.
Best one yet. Thank you for this summation. Agree with all of it. Will rewatch as the years go

By far the most real video to date. Thanks for sharing Scott.
I really have no idea why I just subscribed but every time I see one of these advertisements I always think, “ this guy has my respect” or “ I don’t know what he’s talking about but I want to hear more.” So after like 6 months of seeing ads for this channel I finally subbed. Excellent. All the different videos in one. This one is saved to watch at later point.
Best I've seen so far. Rest are awesome, but these were some real life lessons I needed.

I appreciate how 21K have enjoyed this terrific presentation. Many thanks to Scott.
Great observations and advice. However, IMO Professor Galloway misses one huge source of happiness, helping others. When I wonder why am I here and does anything matter I remind myself of the people I have helped and am helping. This brings me joy. Helping others may bring you joy as well.
Bought your book, many great insights!!!
Thanks for this.
I'm pretty sure "efficiently helping strangers on the internet figure out Life" ranks high in rewarding activities. Godspeed, prof
Good shit Scott. I rarely comment on RUclips but I have been following you for a while and you give solid, no-bull, insights that are refreshing and appreciated. Keep up the good work

Knocking it out of the damn park Scott. Yet again you're showing the "kids" that there is more to life than work and education. I appreciate it.
Thanks for the amazing video

Amazing video. Thanks for sharing that much value. Keep on! Thanks professor!

The Professor is something else. Scott Galloway is Scott Galloway. Very powerful stuff!

I am not the target audience for this channel, but that message of seniors on their younger selves was really warm Scott. I think I needed to hear that, thank you.

another brilliant video. thank you sir.
Thank you so much for these words of wisdom. Some of your advice resonated with me at even 53 years old.
Great simplification of the life formula to see the big picture. Thansk
My god! On point. Just the video I needed to watch today.
That was good. It hit home-I to took care of my dying mother for 2yrs. I watched jeopardy n wheel of fortune every night. with her n spent all day caring for her-it was my privilege.
