    If a video is too long for me, I just break it up watching it at convenient times. Two videos would be delightful. I did cringe at the use of Roundup as it is a "forever" chemical and banned in Europe. In my opinion I wish it were banned across the USA. You did use the phrase Roundup-like but it still sets off warning bells. Thanks for the information provided in a most delightful manner. I just can't pass up your videos. P.S. I have a problem with Rex Begonias. I buy them and quite a few bloom and then eventually hit the dust. I assume it must be overwatering. An amended soil with perlite would be one recommendation. Others please. The blooms are not showy but so interesting. I am not giving up.

      Drainage with good loose soil is key....and not overwatering

    I didn't think the video was too long. I'm used to Q & A vids are usually long form in order to get full answers out. I do get annoyed when there is not enough time to give a full answer. I really enjoy all of your videos. I learn something new every time!!

    Currently looking at a resin urn for paniculata hydrangea since it's lighter. Q: Will hostas overwinter outside in a plastic planter?

    • @gardeningTLC
      @gardeningTLC  3 месяца назад +1

      Usually, to overwinter in a container, you need to use plants 2 zones lower than your zone, and even then, it's a risk. So many factors can affect it.

    Thanks for your help Michelle! As far as your videos, please keep content related to your zone with mention of hardiness in general. For anyone needing significantly higher or lower zone content, they can find other channels better suited for their growing conditions. I live in zone 6 and knowing what works in my area is why i subscribe to your channel!!

    The person who questioned her problem with ants in her pots might want to try getting those pots up off the ground - either on pot feet or on some type of pedestal or table. Hope this helps. 😊

      @@gardeningTLC You mention that nicotine is the ingredient in the Fertilome Rose and Flower Food with Systemic Insecticide that kills Japanese Beetles. i thought maybe planting a nicotine plant around the gardens might work?
