Love your videos and always find something new and interesting.
Couldn't help noticing you using a lots of Latin as you name scientific names of each plant and it's really great. The only constructive remark goes towards pronouncing names in actual Latin instead of English (or a mixture of both). It takes a bit of effort and yet sounds really professional since you are already doing such an excellent work.
Thanks for all the great videos and keep up a good work 🙂

Absolutely, there are several flowers and bushes that thrive in west-facing sunlight, which usually means they'll receive intense afternoon sun. Here are a few options that can handle the heat and bright conditions well:
Lavender (Lavandula) - Known for its fragrant flowers and drought tolerance, perfect for sunny spots.
Sedum (Sedum spp.) - A succulent that loves full sun and comes in various colors and sizes.
Russian Sage (Perovskia atriplicifolia) - Offers beautiful lavender-blue flowers and silvery foliage, thriving in full sun.
Shasta Daisy (Leucanthemum x superbum) - Bright, cheerful flowers that enjoy sunny conditions.
Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) - A resilient, sun-loving plant with vibrant yellow flowers.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) - Not only thrives in full sun but also adds a fragrant aroma to your garden.
Coneflower (Echinacea spp.) - Adaptable and drought-tolerant, it does well in sunny areas, attracting pollinators.
These plants are well-suited to west-facing gardens where they can soak up the afternoon sun. Always consider your specific climate and soil conditions when choosing plants to ensure the best results. Happy gardening! 🌼☀️"

For Zone 10, where the climate is warmer and allows for a wide range of plant choices, consider these ground cover flowers that can thrive and help cover those bald spots in your garden with vibrant colors and textures:
Lantana (Lantana camara) - Hardy and drought-tolerant, lantana blooms in a variety of colors and attracts pollinators.
Ice Plant (Delosperma cooperi) - Offers succulent foliage and daisy-like flowers, great for hot, sunny spots.
Trailing Gazania (Gazania rigens var. leucolaena) - Known for its bright and cheerful flowers that thrive in full sun.
Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) - Not only does it tolerate heat well, but it also adds fragrance to your garden.
Beach Sunflower (Helianthus debilis) - Native to coastal areas, it's adapted to sandy soils and salt spray, perfect for sunny, warm zones.
Portulaca (Portulaca grandiflora) - With its succulent leaves and colorful blooms, it's a great choice for hot, dry areas.
Aptenia (Aptenia cordifolia) - A succulent ground cover with vibrant pink or red flowers, suited for sunny and dry conditions.
These options are well-suited for Zone 10 gardens, offering both beauty and functionality to transform those bare spots into areas of interest. Remember to consider your specific soil and light conditions when selecting plants for the best success. Happy gardening in Zone 10! 🌞🌸
