It is an inline four cylinder which lays flat in the bike. The oil pan is the right side cover and the valve cover is on the left. Definitely different for a motorcycle, but very smooth and powerful.
I am looking forward to this next build ...Although my first thought was "how is he going to turn this thing into a hardtail chopper? That would be kind of unique..thats why I am a bit disappointed, but its your bike and your fun piece of work , maybe another time.. Have fun and greetings from Germany to the W Coast!

Dude...I came into a non running 1996 road king. It seems like some stuff is missing .. like the highway bars, . It might have been wrecked. But, for 500 dollars it might be my problem. Anyway, a cholo style is what I want. Any advise ? My winter project in Tennessee.

One thing though, THIS, and I repeat, THIS IS NOT THE BIKE TO FIX ON THE SIDE OF THE RODE. Don't believe me? Well, let's wait and see.

This bmw is the same 1 that was in one of you're sportsperson builds. You had to go to pick up a socket to change the belt drive to chain.
