Your video taken at the railroad crossing is very beautiful, and the side view is my favorite. This video is wonderful because we can be seen only short formation container cargo in Japan. thank you!

Hello Freebrickproductions I just wanted to let you know that a Dash nine British Columbia rail unit is trailing on CN M30171 and its destination is Memphis Tennessee I just wanted to let you know since you live so close you inspired me to become a railfan and I give all the credit to you I have been watching your videos since 2016 my favorite video is southern US railroad crossings 2014 what you caught on the third clip was amazing A 70M and a dash Eight standard cab still in YN2 and owned by CSX still wow I know it’s not owned by CSX anymore pretty sure it got scrapped anyways I’m hoping to come down there sometime so maybe I’ll see you thank you sincerely Finnegan.
Just curious why you usually run around in the frame in most of your videos when the train arrives? You must know that it's distracting, so I assume that whatever you're doing is worth it, but I can't figure out what it is. I can see you have a little camera in your hand while you're darting back and forth, but I don't see the point when you're just uploading the footage from the camera on the tripod. Thanks!
I'm taking pictures of various things, usually a better angle for the locomotives than what my camcorder is recording as well as various close-ups of the crossing equipment if it's one that I hadn't recorded before at the time of recording the video seen in this compilation.
A fair amount of traffic on this line (such as pretty much all of the coal trains) transfers directly from the BNSF in Memphis, though a few others also transfer directly from the UP in Memphis, and typically have the power just run through.
Hey, I’m curious about something, as I’m wanting to ask you this. Do you think that 1 day in the Future, you can fly over to visit Michigan & do some Videos of the Railroad Crossings that happen to be my Favorite ones ‘cause of how they lay out & how they’re programmed? These ones are located & joining together at Ecorse, Wyandotte, & Trenton, as in Ecorse, you have Salliotte Rd. & Mill St., in Wyandotte, you have Emmons Blvd., St. Johns St., Goddard Rd., Antoine St., Ford Ave., Vinewood Ave., Oak St., & Pennsylvania Rd., & in Trenton, you have Sibley Rd., King Rd., & Harrison Ave..
As there are some other Railroad Crossings in other States, Locations, etc. that catch your attention more than the ones in Ecorse, Wyandotte, & Trenton, MI. Right?
Wow, two hours and a half long video of these railroad crossings? That would be a perfect movie!
Great news, I've caught my very first Norfolk Southern train! I caught it in Shepherdstown, West Virginia st Morgan's Grove park.
Nice!
Great collection of crossings!
Thanks!

Nice video! Do you know if there are any mechanical bells left in Germantown Tennessee?
There's one, but I didn't get a chance to record it yet. It's a rather nice install though.
Yes on Riverdale road. Still there as of August 2022.
Are there any Amtrak Passenger Trains on this line?
No.
How do you catch trains like this?
Going out to a line multiple times over the course of several years, and generally staying for an entire day.
Ok and dang a entire day I'm surprised
Thanks dude
@@Eli_Trxpz Usually from sometime in the morning (preferably closer to sunrise) until about sunset, yea.

At 10:50 how is the train controlled that way? Good catch though.
From the cab. Thanks!

My favorite is 1:09:11
0:42 was it you in the camera?
Yes.
How do you even make this video
I have one important question! How do you know when a railroad crossing is about to ring?
I look and listen for indications that a train is approaching. Then I start my camera recording when one is.
Ok!
Most of the Trains Are NS Freight Trains or BNSF Trains
A fair amount of traffic on this line (such as pretty much all of the coal trains) transfers directly from the BNSF in Memphis, though a few others also transfer directly from the UP in Memphis, and typically have the power just run through.

At 10:57 how come those cars are making noise?
They're brand new, so the bearings and wheel sets were still fresh.

10:56 how is it controlled being backwards?
From the cab of the leading locomotive.
Got it
Hey um are you planning to go to California?
Very much not anytime in the foreseeable future.
10:53 how are they backwards?
Because they're being run that direction.
But why?
@@ColeLiveNews-gy2ut Because there wasn't anywhere for them to turn the locomotives around it.
Horn at 33:50?
18:12 How in the hell are those chances possible?
Just gotta be lucky, lol.

As there are some other Railroad Crossings in other States, Locations, etc. that catch your attention more than the ones in Ecorse, Wyandotte, & Trenton, MI. Right?
Pretty much. Plus, most, if not all, of the good equipment in those area's are now long-gone.
Both trains are squealing in 18:46! 😢
