    Good morning Tim! Good video on the "Best" model from Force USA...I am "like you" and chose the C10 with the sliding bench...and it is an absolute "10" on my scale...For me the value of the unit as well as the functionality of it is simply terrific! I agree that there is a "model" for everyone...I say...save the money...buy the C10 (with the sliding bench...a must) and you will have an "all in one trainer" that will allow you to do all the exercises you will ever need to do...I am glad I watched this video as it ionly reinforced my decision....

    I have recently been seeing guys have a regular rack from Rogue, Rep, Bells of Steel etc, but then also have an accessory rack like this in another room or another area instead of just trying buying a stand alone functional trainer or Iat pull down

      @RichInDaGarage 16 дней назад +2

      This is what I did, Titan X3 6 post for the big 4 and just added the C10 for accessory work…it’s a money setup…tons of functionality and no cables in the way of my compound rack work.

    • @carps_gym
      @carps_gym 15 дней назад +1

      @ yeah I’ve seen a couple guys. I know recently do that. It’s not a bad idea if you have the space.

    • @GymCrafter
      @GymCrafter  15 дней назад +1

      @@carps_gym I think it's the best way to set up a home gym if you have the money and space. And a lot of these all-in-ones are fairly shallow so the space isn't as big an issue as you would think. The more I've tested stuff, the more I dislike having a bunch of stuff crammed into the rack. Unfortunately, my new rack is coming with all kinds of stuff I don't really want now. Can't complain too much as I'm not paying for it, but I really really really wanted to get back to a plain and simple old school rack.

    I just pulled the trigger on the c10 with sliding bench. Had a tough time deciding between this and the Rep Ares 2.0.

      My issues with the 2x2” is the lack of a compatible ecosystem.
      Yes, there are 2x2 options, no they are usually not girly pieces that I get excited about.
      Awesome video Tim.

      @GymCrafter  14 дней назад +1

      @@TheKurtlocker I agree completely, but I just don't see this customer going anywhere but Force for accessories... Or even wanting many accessories that don't already come with it. It really is a customer we don't usually get to interact with. They won't be at HGC, don't watch our channels outside of purpose driven research, and are for sure not gear heads like we are.

    I think for me, the rep ares 2.0 with 3x3 rack is a better value proposition. Especially since I'm not really super interested in a smith machine.

    • @GymCrafter
      @GymCrafter  14 дней назад +1

      For sure. I do not want a Smith machine at this point, so this one is out for me too. If you're gonna use a standard barbell, the Rep is for sure the better choice.

    what do you think about this vs the c10 with sliding bench, building a gym and the other equipment we have is a treadmill, exercise bike, rower, and a set of dumbells

    • @GymCrafter
      @GymCrafter  15 дней назад

      @@JayUzo I try to cover that at the end of this video. It really depends on your use. both are awesome and I wouldn't say one is better than the other. For me, I'd pick the C10. I know other people who think I'm dead wrong on that pick. You really want to look at how you'll use it and pick your unit from there.

    For $6K they should be using 3x3 11 gauge uprights.

    • @GymCrafter
      @GymCrafter  15 дней назад

      @@steverealtyandfinance8171 Why? These are 11 gauge, just not 3x3. I don't see a single advantage going to that measurement would give the person who buys this type of unit. For a straight power rack, i 100% agree with you, just not for something like this.

  • @jasonmckinney3876

    If money and space was no object, I would tell someone that was gonna buy Force USA to get the C10 with the sliding bench upgrade and also get the compact leg press/ hack slide. I wouldn’t buy anything else from Force USA 😂

    • @GymCrafter
      @GymCrafter  14 дней назад +1

      If they made a C10 pro with a couple of tweaks to the bench, there really wouldn't be a reason for most of their other models.

  • @mikejensen1473

    In your edit you say the G20 is the shallowest unit they make. The c10 comes in front to rear at 51.5 but the G20 is 67. Don’t hate me - not trying to be a #ick! lol

    • @GymCrafter
      @GymCrafter  14 дней назад +1

      Once you take off the weight posts and don't measure the flanges on the feet as part of the depth, distance from back post to front post only is the shallowest. The owner has this unit and the depth is why he uses it in his house. He pointed it out a few times, so I wanted to include it in this video. but for sure good point. Size aside, the C10 is the better choice for most.

    Over priced

      You could definitely make a good case for that based on needs and how much you actually wanted to shop around for alternatives.
