      @@Palthura in the early days, all actors were stage actors. they played to the back of the house, in other words, all their emotions and actions were exaggerated for people far away in the theater. many of these actors worked in the early days of film and it took about a decade for them to realize that the camera can pick up the slightest facial tick …
      sometime in the early 2000s, this trend came back-overacting, over emoting, the idea that every emotion or feeling must play out upon the face in the form of ticks and contorted facial muscles. i think it might have started with the harry potter films, but that chick from the twilight series really made it an art form, a bad art form.
      much it has to do with the dumbing down of culture and the fact that the target audience for films these days is mostly children or so-called young adults.

    Even if she's an old woman now, even if all she did was point him out to her husband, even if she never laid a hand on him, Carolyn Bryant is the one responsible for Emmett Till's kidnapping, torture, and murder and should've faced justice years ago.

    Of all the projects I've worked on in 33 years in the business, This is by far the most proud I am of anything I've been a part of. It was a serious and very respectful set. I am beyond proud.

    I had no idea Emmett’s father had passed away ten years before his son did. This poor woman lost her husband and her baby in such a short time period. I can’t even imagine the pain that mother has endured.

      He apparently did whistle at her but she admitted later the rest of it she lied about.....I don't know how she lived with herself the entire rest of her life knowing dhe caused the kidnapping and torture and murder of a 14 year old boy......I believe in karma and she later in her life suffered with cancer and that is her punishment for what she dkd

      His murder helped to spark the civil rights movement & the story of it is still very much known today. I’d say that’s some kind of justice. Maybe the company wants to help make sure the story stays fresh in peoples minds

    I watched Till and I was crying, am a person who don't cry.
    I can't believe this is the wicked woman the president of united states don't believe don't believe belong in jail. This is the president my cousin who walk around with blinders like that 14 year old boy think I should vote for again. Fool me once is enough!

      It's HIGHLY fictionalized.
      Carolyn was a 21 year old beauty queen, and was frightened by Emmett's sexual advances. Emmett did wolf-whistle at Carolyn.

      How so? There was nobody around who would tell her husband, so she wasn’t scared of him. Bobo was a young boy, so she wasn’t scared of him. All the black guys nearby ran away, so she wasn’t scared of them. She was a despicable racist who was complicit in a murder. She should have faced justice years ago.

    This isn’t even a movie, it looks like a warning from the National Ad Council. Students, first of all don’t do this.
