So revealing of the legacy of culture, history and colony. Thanks for keeping the culture of oral history alive. Thanks for the history of pits and labour from the 1950s to today. Shared vision, shared heritage, shared history, and shared purpose are so powerful. There will come a day when people stop blaming those like all of the countries under the Union Jack for colonization, and see that they have their own inherent societal issues that they are trying to manage as best as possible. Hopefully those that are quick to identify such countries as "colonizers" can instead provide them with solutions that are the most appropriate for their respective countries, cultures, imagined communities, and unified aspirations.

Such a great meditation of the cotidiario of British diaspora. Every rooted global cosmopolitan should own the body of work of frantz fanon. This is why we actively need to practice the art of conversation and deep listening.
