    I have been there too. It's still the same today. History there has been preserved.

    Actually none of that video footage was “the grassy knoll”
    The knoll is where the picket fence is along the top of the hill.

    I think I was there in 92, would have been wild to see myself on a random YT video.

    You, sir, are very fortunate to have visited Dealey Plaza before it went to hell. This is shortly after Oliver Stone had the city prune the trees and and make the plaza look like it did in 1963 as much as possible. If you were to go there to day, you would see what a total mess the grounds, the pergola, and especially the trees are. Dallas should be ashamed of itself for allowing this Historic sight to become so ugly and dirty. People have trampled the area directly around Zapruder's concrete block area , and part of the stairs connected to the concrete block that take us up to the terrace in front of the pergola, so much so that the concrete that was once beneath the ground in that are is now showing, and it's a terrible sight. If you haven't been there recently, it would break your heart to see the condition of this place now. The trees are in **DESPERATE** need of serious pruninig. It's very, very sad.

    if the Buddy Holley plane crash was 'the day that music died'
    was the Kennedy assassination the day America died?

      Actually we've always known, Oswald and Oswald alone committed the crime

      @@jet1149Oswald was killed too so he was never proven guilty or innocent. Maybe you believe it was him but most people don't! I don't! There's no proof he did so you can't speak for everyone!

    • @jet1149
      @jet1149 3 месяца назад

      @@vincentlussier8264 there's actually a mountain of evidence against Oswald both physical and circumstantial, also his behavior before during and after is that of a guilty man, there is absolutely zero evidence of conspiracy, cover-up or another shooter, if you have the evidence speak up you'll be on every News Channel tonight and you'll be a very rich man, also there was a time when the majority of people thought the world was flat, many still do why because they want to

    Picked up studying the case around this time. JFK the movie came out . The area is a good ambush site to fire on a convertible going very slow on elm Street.

    Even the so-called 'historians' mention the grassy knoll and put location data on placks, yet they still contend that Oswald was the solel nut shooter.

      What's strange about that?

    • @williamfulgham2010
      @williamfulgham2010 8 месяцев назад

      @@franclin0 Because so much research has been going on over the past 60 years to prove that Oswald did not fire a shot that day at anyone or anything. He was a CIA operative, but was set up to be the patsy just like he's said.
      The assassination of JFK wis the biggest coup and cover up that has ever happened to our country.

      Dallas was never Kennedy terrority. Dallas was actually headquarters of the John birch society and Minutemen, a rightwing paramilitary group. Financed by hl hunt a very powerful Texan. These boys didn't play nice.

    Let us not forget let this dealey plaza is a major Masonic memorial to something or another, and I just found this out recently, and that's totally significant it's the way they operate Major symbolism all the time really with pretty much everything they do!
