Tincup Pass I Open for 2023 I Mirror Lake I Deep Water I Mineral Basin I Ptarmigan Lake

Tincup Pass is open for the season thanks to the CORE Trail Crew. Mirror Lake is still 40"+ deep, only passable for certain vehicles. Mineral Basin is open, Mount Princeton is open and Ptarmigan Lake is open.

Thanks to all your crew. I did tincup pass from St Elmo overto tincup on the 10th in an LX with 33’s and the lake was maybe 24” at worst, but I had to watch some others together up my nerves. Good job on clearing the snow by the pass.

I missed you by just a few hours. I got to Mirror lake last night(7-9) at about 7-8 pm. This morning I chickened out on crossing the lake(alone from Tennessee) but I probably would have followed another vehicle. I'm in Moab tonight, sightseeing my way back to TN on back roads.

Hey I have heard of large damage from people going around snow off Italian creek road near American Flag. Gonna be up there in a couple of weeks so if it's still there I will clear it. But it may be worth clearing very soon and it may be worth trying to fix so of the damage.

@@keeptrailsopen Where else can I find you guys to come out and volunteer? I live about 3 hours east of Buena Vista but I spend a lot of time over in that area during the summer. But yes super disappointing and I hear someone tried to drive there full sized side by side on single-track around there.
