More boaters should use fenders at the ramp like you. Yours was at the right height too. So many hang them too low where they do nothing. Can’t beat being prepared. I enjoy your channel 👍👍
The 300 service gets everything seen here plus the impeller, spark plugs, alternator belt, thermostat and anodes. I'll be taking it back to the guys at Preferred Marine for all that.
@@ReelReports How do you feel on a 97 hr mercury 300XL non verado to a suzuki 53 hr 300 motor I’ve just seen too many people claim that mercurys are unreliable and i’ve seen a couple of people say suzuki parts are hard to get but they do have a 6 year warranty which is more than any other brand
@@ReelReports Not really the more out of the water the trailer is the more you have to winch the boat on wearing the bunk carpet and hard rubbing on the hull.

My Verado 300 4-stroke steers like the power’s out. It’s hydro-electric power steering, fluid levels look good. What else could be wrong?

We have to grease out trailer hubs, check the wiring, and check the tightness of all the nuts and bolts every year too

Very long procedure just to change the oil.
I used to do the oil change on the lift, but it's a bit too difficult and don't want to get any oil in the water.
