Hey Gokce here, so the entire day I pronounced pyramids wrong and Steve did NOT correct me... Shame! :) For those who were asking about amazing hotel in Egypt - feel free to book your room here: Marriott Mena House: marriott.pxf.io/MmBvWK More importantly, Mostafa made our trip to Giza unforgettable, so be sure to reach out to him for an amazing experience!
Ok, the real reason why we haven't been to Egypt is that: there are mummies and Lieles is terrified of that and the scarabag lol Incredible, guys! Love al the places you went to on this trip, I have been watching this video with my mouth wide-open! It is insane! You reminded me why I must go soon!!! Not in summer though 🤣🤣 Can't wait to ride a camel, love riding horses, and I truly cannot wait to ride camels in Egypt.
Yea Gökçe got to ride Bob Marley 🙌 I really enjoyed being able to see the lesser known pyramids as well, it seems they are sure worth a visit too. You two did a great job sharing your experiences even with the filming restrictions. Your spot at the end to have a meal with a view of the pyramids looked amazing, definitely something you will remember ♥️
Hahaha I'm so happy I got the Bob Marley too! He was so cool 😎 and thanks so much, it was not easy, and we used our cellphones a lot but thankfully managed to capture some good stuff! Sunset dinner was amazing and we will never forget it for sure ❤️ Highly recommend you to visit!
Sure, just ignore the pollution, constant horn honking and garbage everywhere, even at the archaeological sites. Egyptians supposedly built the Pyramids but have yet to master sidewalk garbage cans - they just drop their refuse as they walk! NOT impressed - I knew I would be visiting a 3rd World country but I wasn't prepared for the magnitude of the shit! The slums of Mexico and Guatemala look like suburban living next to Giza and Cairo.
The pyramids are amazing and even more impressive in person (I’ve had the opportunity to see them when I worked on a cruise ship, but that’s all I saw in Egypt 🙈) Good call on getting a tour guide! Seems like this is needed if you don’t want to be bothered by all the local vendors. Gökçe…really love your outfit 🥰 and you’re haggling skills 👌😅 So cool that you got to go inside of the pyramids! Aww, Mustafa is the best tour guide ever, what an awesome surprise at the end of the day ❤️ will definitely refer back to this video for his number if we ever do make it to Egypt 🙏
Wait, I had no idea that you were working for a cruise ship before! That's awesome!! And yes going around with a guide/local can change the whole experience! Mostafa is the best indeed ❤️
Getting up early has its benefits! How nice that you got the pyramids all to yourself. Wow, we diidn't know about Saqqara so thanks for the tip! There's so much to experience in Egypt. Hope we can get there soon!
Wow that seemed like an incredible day and experience. You guys got there at the perfect time to have the place to yourself and it was really neat to see around with so few people there. Gökçe you have incredible bargaining skills - I need to learn from you. What a fun way to end the day on a camel ride and dinner in the dunes. Such unique experiences!
We are definitely not easy early risers, but time and time again (especially the past 2 years) it has proven to be so worth it. We were so glad to have Mostafa to set up such an incredible day, he really is incredible.
Very nice vlog. Quick question though, did you find any annoying hagglers near the Pyramids? A lot of my friends said the hagglers ruin much of the Pyramid experience. Planning to visit Egypt in the near future and your vlogs helping us plan it to make our trip better. Getting up and visiting the sites ALWAYS is better as most of the times you will have the sites to yourselves. We did the same when we visited Pamukkale as well as Ephesus. We visited Turkey twice and really loved our tour. We visited Ankara, Trabzon, Kars, Van, Erzurum, Diyarbakir, Goreme Cappadocia, Izmir, Eskisehir, Bursa, Antalya, Olympos, Kas, Marmaris and ofcourse Istanbul. Love & respect from Bangladesh.
There are hagglers around but if you are with a local person and show up around opening time you won't have to deal with them as much as other times. Glad you got to visit Turkey and hope you enjoy Egypt as well. Sending much love to Bangladesh hope we can get to visit one day!
You guys really have the beat the crowds tactic down! Your tour guide seemed great. Loved Gokce's haggling, hehe 😆 07:20 - watching this made me feel a little claustrophobic! Such an amazing experience though.
Haha we became an expert in Egypt! And yeah, it is pretty interesting being under the ground and inside of the pyramids, definitely an incredible experience though!
Melissa and I are watching together for your epic journey. Nice getting there early. So crazy seeing Gokce right next to the pyramid. I still say Aliens put these together! 😂 That lunch stop had quite the view. Gokce is a bargaining queen. Those lesser known pyramids looked amazing. The 🐫 ride looks so fun. You guys are pros.
Thanks so much Carl! It was so emotional and amazing at the same time. It was so empty when we went there too so had it all to ourself luckily! ❤️ P.S. hahah yeah bargaining is part of my culture 😉
Loved your video. ❤️ can you pls give information? Is it possible to cover giza pyramids, saqqara pyramids and dashur pyramids in one day? If i want to enter the pyramids also to see inside.
Hi Tasnia! Thanks so much, you are so sweet! ❤️ we didn't visit the dashur pyramids but we visited Saqqara and Giza pyramids in one day! You just need to start your day very early to make it possible!
Great job getting there so early, amazing to get such a famous sight like this to yourselves! It seems like the area has a lot of tourist attractions/things being built around it, I went as a child and it already looks so different. Loved Gökçe with her bargaining skills! 😂 Wow your camel ride and desert dinner looked so good! 🐫
Would you mind sharing a ball cost for the tour guide. I understand things can change, planning on going this November and trying to do as much as possible.. thank you for your videos
Glad you enjoyed them Charles. It was $25 USD each person for the sunset camel ride and dinner, but we forget exactly how much it was for the day trip around Giza and Saqqara. Mostafa is incredible though and we are still in touch with him and we will never forget our time in Egypt thanks to him.
You will find white stones at the pyramid. They contain straw salt. The taste is very astringent. If you lick you will spit! The stones in the pyramid dissolve in hot water. Old concrete technique. Granite was also poured at room temperature.
I just completed a 3 week trip the Egypt. I would highly recommend landing before noon in Cairo, spend 2 HOURS at Giza, then continue on to Luxor. Giza and Cairo are the DIRTIEST, most disgusting cities I've ever seen - shit everywhere, people drive like Grand Theft Auto, just laying on their horns continuously as a "warning to other drivers."! And MANY of the people in the tourism business are total shysters. I agreed on a price with an "OFFICIAL" Pyramids guide (don't believe it, they all have little IDs on lanyards that nobody can read) before a 2-hr tour with camel ride at Giza. Before ending, he took me to a high-pressure papyrus art store. I couldn't say no because I was still on the damned camel. When finished he demanded twice the agreed upon rate, saying that the original $ was "for the camel"! I walked away. They will pressure you, lie to you, cheat you. Even if they stick to the agreed rate (drivers especially) they will hound you the entire drive for a tip. And good luck getting an Uber!!! In summary, I would literally spend time in prison than another 4 days in Giza. BTW, I had open sores on my ass after the camel ride (couldn't sit down for 3 days), and the back of my shorts actually tore open! I'm ready to believe that aliens did in fact build the Egyptian monuments because of my time with the Egyptian people...
Woof. That's a rough experience and far from how we experienced Egypt. Very sorry to hear that. I think having a good guide changes the whole experience drastically and we are so thankful for Mustafa for that. His contact info is below the description 🙏
Bravo ! Çok güzel bir video olmuş her zamanki gibi ;)
Coook tesekkur ederiz, Murat! ❤🙏We appreciate your support as always!

Hahaha thanks so much and glad you loved the video! ❤

Amazing that this was built so long ago.
Unbelievable indeed! 🙌
Hi there! Melissa from Santos Chronicles here! Carl and I want to go here, but a little nervous to bring the family.
Hi Melissa! We are a huge fan of both of you 🤗 we would highly suggest Egypt but yes, it can be difficult with kids (not impossible though) 😉
Getting up early has its benefits! How nice that you got the pyramids all to yourself. Wow, we diidn't know about Saqqara so thanks for the tip! There's so much to experience in Egypt. Hope we can get there soon!
Egypt has so much to offer and you would love it! Every moment we had there was special.
Fly straight to Luxor...
Definitely hear you but Luxor and Giza are both wonderful. Thanks for watching 😊🙏

How much did mostafa charge?
He gave us a special price but you can message him and ask for a quote! His information is in the description. Thanks for watching 🙏
Hello can i ask whats app number of your tour guide in the pyramids?😊
Hi Isabelle! Mostafa's phone number is in the description under the video. Hope you have a great time in Egypt!

The Blacks built the Pyramids *cough cough*
It's a mystery!
