This is so amazing.... Literally the favourite part was when you offered Turkish Delight to the shopkeeper. That's so nice and heart touching too. You guys are not just incredible Hodophiles but incredible humans too.
This is not the true Mountain of Moses. The true Mountain, and all of the evidence of the Hebrews in the wilderness is located in Arabia, in Horeb. Do a RUclips search of the real Mt. Sinai. There are now several videos that show the actual burnt mountain of Moses and the split rock that Moses struck, as well as the golden calf alter. It has all been fenced off by the Saudi government, because it proves that the Bible is true. There are hieroglyphs all over the site, as well as the twelve pillars for the twelve tribes, and also the burial site where they buried the disobedient people of God after the Lord destroyed them for their blatant disobedience. They also show the place of the 70 palm trees where the Hebrews traveled through. One of the videos shows what may be the ACTUAL burning bush on the mountain, as well as Elijah's cave.
@@TravelInteresante That was really inspiring and just awesome. I don't do much travelling and this was a great video to watch. Greetings from NYC! Oh props to the camera guy he did a great job. Thanks guys!
What an incredible experience 🙌 I love that the cats accompanied you...and that there were so many coffee shops 🐈 ☕ The view at the top 😍 I do hope you both were able to relax the next day... because that was a ton of stairs!
Wow guys…this was right at the top of our things to do in Egypt! It looks like an incredible experience. I really like all the rest stop shops along the way, the people seem super friendly 😌 The views are stunning, especially from the top. Loved this video guys, thanks for taking us along 😊
Everyone was super friendly. They were so welcoming too. Hope you can get to go, highly suggest you to take a camel to the last stairs if you don't want to climb up the mountain entirely 😅
That's interesting about the tourism police! Very good to have a guide for climbs and tours like this. I can only imaging how tiring it would be - but it's so cool that they have little coffee shops along the way and so nice of you to share your Turkish Delight. What beautiful scenery there!! That mosque and church were very incredible to see.
We were so surprised about the coffee shops along the way to the top, it definitely helps with the climb as it takes hours and not an easy one. The views from the summit was breath taking, definitely recommend this climb! 🤗
I feel for you Steve, I feel like that on a regular hike. Oh man Mount Saini. It’s nice you have a guide, that guy has to be in shape. The scenery there is breath taking. You 2 are so stylish even on hikes. That shop must make a killing there. Congrats on making it. 11th Commandment, thou shalt not sniff butts 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for the 🐫 tip. This is an adventure you will never forget!
Ahmed was an amazing guide & friend along the way. Haha thanks so much, we had no idea what to wear but somehow it worked out! It was definitely an unforgettable trip! 🙌
I was there 30 years ago and there was only 1 real store, but it was not on the camel path. You had to take the stairs down and there was a huge green glade of the path. 1 old guy with his 6 wives in a cinder block shack with a tin roof. He had a large herd of goats grazing in the glade. He also had a huge boombox blasting music out. I bought a cold 7up from him and continued taking the stairs down to the monastery. What happened to the Bush? When I was there it was growing huge out of the monastery.
So the next day is a day off hahaha, a day to spend in the hotel and at the beach You are so nice Gokce, sharing your Turkish delight. What a fantastic experience to be there, so exciting Steve, you don't get a piece lol
What an amazing hike! So much history related to that mountain. We definitely would be taking the same amount of breaks that you did (if not more hahaha). Your cat hiking guides looked like they were very helpful. Great moral support, I'm sure. And yea, Moses must have been pretty dang fit! He had to carry two large stone tablets on the way down too! I guess he had a 14 day break in between though 😂
It was so much harder than we thought 😅 thankfully and unexpectedly the cats guide you up there! You feel so fulfilled and accomplished when you complete the hike though! 🤗
No, there isn’t “history related to that mountain” at all. It’s NOT Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai is NOT in Egypt. It is is Midian. Midian was not Egypt. Midian was modern day Saudi Arabia. Actually read your Bible.
Looks like a great experience, awesome views, friendly people, interesting buildings. Nice of you to share the Turkish Delight too, experiencing foods I haven't tried before is one of my favourite parts of travel 🙌
Absolutely and agreed! We love exchanging and trying different types if food, it's always amazing to see the reactions of people 😊 thanks for watching 🙏🤗
Moses was really in shape hahaha Great history lesson there Steve! What a beautiful building Lieles is next to me saying "I would not go up there, you know that, right?" 😂

Pretty cool that there was a cafe where people left photos and messages. Loved your little cat guides 🙂 I bet you ached a lot the next day... looked very worth it though! Strangely I always find going down more difficult than going up.
Haha yeah that's strange, while going down you basically roll yourself down with the gravity but it gets a bit scary as you can slip too! It was so worth it indeed, can't recommend it enough! 🙏

the Bible says Mt Sinai is in Arabia as in Saudi Arabia; It's been found in a different country than Egypt. Gal 4:25 In Exodus 14 they crossed the red sea; in chapter 15 they hit the waters of Marah; in 16:1&6 ...they had come out of Egypt and in chap 17 they defeated the Amalekites; and in chap 18:1 they visit Jethro and it says the Lord brought them out of egypt; further up the road in chap 23 they were in he land of Amorites Hitteites Canaanites and Jebusites all close to Israel and Jordan now. all happens before they get to the Desert of Sinai Mt Sinai see also Psalm 68: 15-17

We really aren't... lol 😆 but definitely this time was for something special and we forced ourselves to make it, so glad we did! It took around 3-4 hours to climb up and 1-2 hours to go down (it was longer than normal probably as we always talk to people on the way 🤣)
It's generally on the cooler side, especially in the winter months. Bring a light jacket with you regardless, just in case and stick to the pants if it's not going to be an exceptionally warm day.

The world still can see the evidence of receiving The divine revealation from Almighty Allah to his prophet Moses around 3500 yrs back. Incredible and Amazing.
Exodus 19and thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about saying take heed to yourselves that ye go not up into the mount or touch the border of it whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death there shall not an hand touch it but he shall surely be stoned or shot through whether it be beast or man it shall not live when the trumpet soundeth long they shall come up to the mount lord came down upon mount sinai on the top of the mount and the lord called Moses up to the top of the mount and Moses went up. And the lord said unto Moses go down and charge the people lest they break through unto the lord to gaze and many of them perish.and let the priest also which come near to the lord sanctify themselves lest the lord break forth upon them.and Moses said unto the lord, the people cannot come up to mount sinai for thou chargedst saying set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.and the lord said unto him, away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up,thou, and Aaron with thee:but let not the priest and the people break through to come up unto the lord lest he break forth upon them
Too bad Mt. Sinai isn’t IN Egypt. It is in MIDIAN. CLEAR as day if you’ve actually bothered to read your Bible. Which is Saudi Arabia…. Congratulations not actually climbing Mt. Sinai at all and just climbing a random rock.

Too bad Mt. Sinai isn’t IN Egypt. It is in MIDIAN. CLEAR as day if you’ve actually bothered to read your Bible. Which is Saudi Arabia…. Congratulations not actually climbing Mt. Sinai at all and just climbing a random rock.

Don't be decieved
