    I saw many of your videos. I want to thank you personally and from the bottom of my heart for your channel and the willingness to show in public personal moments of your everyday life and with your family. Sharing I think is a new experience from the day social media expanded. I'm leaving in a developed country and more particular Greece, we are a nation of tourism industry and famous for our hospitality. What I'm experiencing in your videos cannot be described in words. There are really good vibes and bad ones at the same time. They all have to do with the scenery and the people. I'm really very surprised ! Thanks a lot and we are very lucky to have such an insight of that culture. Also I try to read all the comments which are really interesting to see how many different opinions and speculation the human mind can create. Thank you !

    I'm an American and I've taken an interest in Korean culture. I've been following South Korean culture for quite some time and I think it's time to learn more about North Korea. Studying this country is possibly the most difficult thing I've ever done. In America we're taught very negative things about North Korea, then I see videos like this where the country looks like any other civilization. Although it is a bit odd to see the streets so empty, and your "Privileged Store" videos struck an awkward nerve when I saw exactly how perfectly the shelves were stocked. I've also watched videos with North Korean defectors who have told very scary stories. From what I can gather from the information I've been given, I can only assume that North Korean authority is very strict, but they seem like a working civilization that just wants to live their own lifestyle. Bottom line, North Korea is a complete mystery and I'd love to know more about how it REALLY works.

      Watch closer. :) There are some intersections with traffic lights in Pyongyang. They are always on the opposite street side. Signal pattern is the same as it was in the former GDR (flashing green before turning to yellow), this might be no coincidence as they copied a lots of things from the GDR. I guess some of these traffic lights have been installed long before but have only recently been activated as traffic increased.

    media barat selalu memberitakan bahwa kehidupan dikorut penuh dengan air mata.
    lah divideo ini, mereka penuh dengan senyum ceria serta tawa bahagia.
    bahkan diliat dari raut wajahnya, warga Korut kelihatan lebih bahagia dari warga korsel yang terlihat tengah stress berat.

    • @muhammadibra8324
      @muhammadibra8324 2 года назад +7

      Gimana gak stres di Korsel tingkat rasis nya tinggi . Bahkan sesama mereka pun rasis nya mintak ampun.. Maka dari itu kebanyakan remaja yang pas ulang tahun ke 17 rata2 mintak hadiah oplas

    • @aisukururimu7515
      @aisukururimu7515 2 года назад +3

      Mungkin itu faktor persepsi, di Korut karena internet di kontrol, mereka jadi nggak merasa kalau negara mereka itu kebanyakan peraturan, bagi mereka hal itu sudah lumrah, sudah biasa.
      Sementara Korsel mereka bebas sebebas2nya akses internet kemana saja, dan akhirnya karena paparan globalisasi, mereka jadi merasa kalau mereka belum sejahtera, dan gara2 itu mereka jadi selalu berjuang diatas batas wajar, makanya kalau kita lihat mereka itu stress berat terus.
      Ditambah lagi faktor nasionalisme dan kebersamaan. Di Korsel, rata2 orang disana selalu merasa kalau berjuang sendirian, beda sama Korut yang selalu dipupuk nasionalismenya sejak kecil supaya mereka selalu merasa kalau negara juga berjuang bersama mereka, terlepas dari benar/tidaknya. Bagi warga Korut, semua orang di sekitar mereka ya... rekan sekerja seperjuangan demi kejayaan Korut, sementara di Korsel, karena terlalu bebas dan kurangnya pemupukan rasa nasionalisme pada warganya, maka hukum rimba lah yang akhirnya jadi norma disana.

Especially North Korea and Indonesia is like the friendship country. Even the national flower of North Korea is the orchid that is given by our 1st President of Indonesia (Mr. Soekarno) 1965. This has got to be a very eye opening video, the interaction you and your family had with the locals there in North Korea. It's very interesting and incredible to see this kind of video being documented, as it's the most mysterious place on Earth and we have no idea what the locals are like, but the two-way street is always painted very negatively through Mainstream, so seeing this is incredible stuff. The fact that these waitresses were being so kind and sweet to you and your family and them being like your good friends in Pyongyang is just so eye-opening, incredible and touching to see. Amazing stuff, Jaka. Thank you! Greetings from Sydney, Australia :)

    Looks peaceful and the food looks great. It's sad that most North Koreans cannot enjoy things like this. There are more middle class people in Southeast Asia than in North Korea. If you go to any restaurant in Jakarta, Manila or Bangkok it's full of people, but Pyongyang always looks so empty. But the good thing is how warm and caring the ordinary North Koreans are to you, your wife and your daughter. Politics is a terrible thing, it makes so many people suffer and divide themselves.

I’m American but all over the world we want happiness and a good life for our children and peace of mind. I learn so much more when North Koreans interact with other Asians than with Westerners as you’d expect, especially with Chinese because they don’t seem to be as guarded?

    Thank you for sharing your daily experiences with us. Although I will never get there, I am curious about the world, especially those inaccessible and "forbidden" places like the DPRK. These vicarious experiences will be the closest I will ever get! Back in 1969-70, during the Zafra de los Diez Millones in Cuba, our brigade cut sugar cane for a few days with a brigade from the DPRK. Pyongyang looks in better shape than Habana; then again, it had to be rebuilt after it was completely destroyed during the Korean War.

    These videos are so different than what all the "tourists" have shown in theirs. Since I have been to DMZ, I have had an interest in North Korea. The life of a rural north Korean is so different than one who lives in Pyongong. In one of the other videos, they said they cater to Muslims' taste, I wonder if the food is actually halal. Your videos are the best out there what life is like for those that have greater access.
