Picking the “(remain silent)” is even funnier because it just makes me imagine that instead of a talking elk it’s just a normal animal that somehow got in his house that he’s convinced is with the Brotherhood.
26:27 Your not the only one Jabo, and I think it comes down to Skyrim being such a comfort game for so many people. When the weather gets colder and it gets gross outside we're stuck inside looking for those old comforts. It seems like every year without fail myself, my partner, and lots of our family start playing more Skyrim around winter.
"It's Bethesda's biggest game to date, mostly because they've released it like 5 times" sounds like hyperbole if you were talking about any other game, but then you google it and realize Skyrim has actually been released around 15+ times depending on how you wanna count it. My favorite is the smart fridge port
Completely random but I grew up watching Rolie Polie Olie, but I had since forgotten what it was called, just some distant memories of the show, so when you made that reference I was immediately reminded of the show that I had forgotten for so long. Also great video!
The rabbit moment reminded me of that scene of the killer rabbit of Monthy Python and The Holy Grail, while Jeremy was trying to run away the entire time.
35:37 fun fact: that’s a true statement. The magical anomaly level has no cap and has the highest scaling value. So when you’re level 100, everything is capped by that point EXCEPT the anomaly, meaning it will permanently out-level you.
Honestly it sounds silly but I always liked the idea of doing a “Ben 10” sort of run in Skyrim or Fallout were you go around and scan creatures to collect up and have in a list of random transformations. You could play easy mod with “Master Control” and set a few specific catches to a list to choose from when you transform or you could go OG Ben 10 and let it randomize your transformations from your picked list every time you turn. That way they can still be useful but maybe not in the situation you’re in. This is the closest I’ve seen to someone doing a run like that and I’m loving it
Hilarious thing is, yesterday I randomly started playing through Jade Empire after years again, AND YOU JUST RANDOMLY PUT A SOUNDTRACK FROM IT INTO THIS VIDEO AT 7:37 , if that isn't fate, idk what is.
Bro I know what you mean with wanting to play Skyrim during winter, it just brings back the old cozy childhood memories when I used to wake up super early to play Skyrim with snow outside. It just hits different.
laughing at the videogame logic that means aventis sees a deer enter his house and assumes it's a dark brotherhood assassin. Then that actually being correct, which leads to Astrid somehow binding then picking a mammoth out of bed and transporting it from Whiterun to a shack near Morthal without it waking up because she was annoyed that an animal killed someone they were supposed to
Love your videos so much Jabo! Always the perfect background music as well, the Viva Pinata, Mass Effect, and Legacy of the Duelist tracks really hit the nostalgia feel.
I'm amazed how far Skyrim mods have come because I still remember when changing into most creatures completely broke the game or outright instantly crashed it, usually both, specifically the attack animations are what would crash the game instantly
I know this is only somewhat related, but Skyrim should've had shapeshifting like this imo, maybe a branch of alteration magic. Playing as the different creatures and using their abilities looks so much fun. They could've made a spell that works like soul trap where you kill an enemy i. e. a frostbite spider and absorb their essence upon death. Kill and absorb enough of the same creature (maybe 10 at the start) and you could gain 1 transformation into that creature for a limited time. Perks could include increased duration time, lesser cost (1 kill = 1 transformation at max level), the abilty to absorb and turn into more powerful creatures (like atronachs or dragons) or transforming other npcs, like followers or enemies. The time limit could alternatively be determined by how much magicka you have, as transformation could simply consume magicka over time and wear off once it runs out. A good incentive to level your magicka as a shapeshifting mage. *_Sadly Bethesda doesn't seem interested in gameplay that's actually fun in these recent years._*
I can absolutely relate to the seasoning playing. I got fallout 4 to Christmas as it came out and played in the winter holidays and now every winter I start a new fallout 4 run
Hey Jabo, ever thought of playing a soulslike on the channel? Post note: great job, skyrim is one of the all-time greats, and there aren't enough channels that play it.
Yay more jabo content tbh jabo and joov make watching Skyrim enjoyable as someone who really doesn’t really like the game it’s still fun to see these kinda things.
My winter game always ends up being Mass Effect, because playing through Noveria in the winter is just that great, then playing ME2 during December really brings me back to my childhood in itself, idr but I think I first got ME2 for Christmas, then ME3 really does have some New Years energy, to me, because it looks and plays ever so differently from ME2, and gives a good sense of finale. Then my spring game always ends up being New Vegas, because Mass Effect got me reminiscing. So next year, I'll be playing TTW, need to screw around with my mods, & I think I'll play Fable 2 this summer.
I have that same feeling about these games and the seasons. Skyrim, Metro, Frostpunk, etc. is definitely a winter game. New Vegas, Tropico, and Deserts of Kharak would be summer.
Not a skyrim challenge, but might be interesting! For Fallout4 or any of them really, can you beat the game while only using equipment you loot off of enemies you kill. This would include weapons, ammo, armour, healing items, drugs, junk, bobbypins, caps, basically anything that isn't a necessary story item. Maybe call it the Graverobber run. Hope you see this!
I'm surprised the dark brotherhood is people's favorite. I always liked the thieves guild the most. Mainly because of all the special loot you can find like the bee statue, or the bust of grey fox. Also it never felt as fetch questy as the others. DB has you kill 6 contracts, but they're the same every time. The college starts off really slow too, and the companions are basically the same as the main questline, but with werewolfs.
The best Moment in the Video war das einführungsvideo auch wenn ich das als Kind immer scheisse fand, weil man es nicht skippen konnte. Tolles Video mein bester. Das erste Video was ich von dir geguckt habe mochte ich dich nicht. Mittlerweile aber schon ❤
FINALLY A SKYRIM VIDEO AFTER 5-6 MONTHS!!!
Hope you guys have an amazing week and enjoy the video- remember, the mod is in the description!
Fucking finally, a good skyrim video.

I used to be a deer like you, but then I took a twig to the knee.
Astrid being able to kidnap a whole mammoth from the Whiterun inn is probably the most competent thing the brotherhood has ever done in skyrim
They stole a guy from sovengarde
Just a Dragon Priest casually walking in and joining the Imperial army 😂

the riekling literally holding a spear: am i a joke to you
"My name is...." like this guy needs an introduction, amazing content as always man.
Thank you so much 😊

Its almost unreal how little crashes happened in a modded bethesda game
And how many in a basic versions 😂😂😂

Funny enough, I can see somehow this being a curse on someone in Skyrim

“Weren’t expecting that, were you?” She asks, as if _she_ *was* expecting a giant crab to walk into the building and attack her
Never thought I'd see a rollie pollie ollie refernce from Jabo. Then again he is small and smart and round.
Imagine how cool the Civil War Questline would be in a game that could handle more then 10 actors on screen at the same time.
35:37 fun fact: that’s a true statement. The magical anomaly level has no cap and has the highest scaling value. So when you’re level 100, everything is capped by that point EXCEPT the anomaly, meaning it will permanently out-level you.
