It's when I lost faith in all of humanity and men's "Words" which now mean nothing! I then went back to work after using up all of my leave and I was "let go" after working there for over 15 years! This sent me in a tailspin of which I still have not recovered fully a I'm on every anti-depressant you can take. So that happened to me but your story is so much more horrific so I can only imagine your fear, your suffering and pain. My God bless you and I'll pray you get an even higher pay job with a sign-on bonus. Still won't fix the inner turmoil in your heart and mind, but it's a start.
I had a boss tell me weeks after starting that he could sleep with me whenever he wanted. That he could tell I "wanted it". I tried to play it off as a bad joke because I needed the job. I ended up quitting about a month later. I was always on edge at work and hated working late because I knew we would be alone.
