I really enjoyed the way you introduced your idioms and then put people into practise with a second board with examples. Would you consider teaching other word-related idioms using a similar method? That would be ace! Great videos by the way.

Thank you for your informative lessons. All the idioms in this video are new to me. But I was able to guess the meaning of "wall have ears" because in Japan we have a similar saying, "kabe(walls) ni(postpositional nominative particle) mimi(ears) ari(have)" The other idioms are also very interesting. I always enjoy listening to and looking at you.

Really appreciate your lessons, great semantic explanations ! Thank you very much, it is a pleasure to listen to you, which helps me to keep my command of English alive. I found there are German phrases that express the same metaphorical meaning, with one exception: The English 'fly on the wall' would be a German 'mouse in the house'.
But we have also flies on the walls. A German 'fly on the wall' means that somebody very nervous is disturbed by unimportant circumstances all the time, which he draws useless attention to: "That nervous guy is even disturbed /gets crazy by a fly on the wall.'
    Greetings from Germany !

Hi Gill! I have decided to improve the oral and written use of English with your generous turorials. I speak Spanish but I understand it a lot when you teach English. That excites me. I thank you very much for sharing your vast knowledge. I still use the English of the google translator because I am not fluent but, one of these days, I will be able to write some text by myself. The "hole in the wall" idiom in Britain is interesting and I had not heard it mean than before. In the US, the meaning of the same phrase is totally different. Normally referring to a dive bar or a small and not very successful restaurant or other business.

Are their two meanings for the conjunction 'as well as'.
Some people are of the opinion that the verb agreement is determined by the subject 'before as well as' and some people are of the opinion that the verb agreement is determined by the subject 'after aswellas ' in a sentence with the conjunction as well as.
    For example
1)Sita aswellas her friends is going to the mall .
2)I as well as my friends are playing.
Please make it clear to me.
Further,I want to know whether verb agreements depends on the first person, 2nd person and 3rd person .
Please make it clear to me
