Lion King is very much deserving of its success. I had the opportunity to see it on Broadway back in 2007 and we had seats by the aisles. Meaning during the Circle of Life segment, the animals ran up to the stage right next to us and it was incredible. Seeing the musical makes you love Lion King even more. The animation of the original movie is phenomenal, but the soundtrack truly brings everything together.
The worst thing about Ralph Breaks the Internet is how it completely goes from one extreme to the other in its message. The first movie basically was "You were born into this, you stay this because others will suffer if you look to expand your horizons", then the second one REWARDS Vanellope for endangering all the livelihood of the characters in her game, basically saying "other people don't matter, do what you want". I hated that.
While people complain about villains appearing at the last second, you’re all forgetting that they don’t give them justice like they used to. Like no arrests, no deaths, nothing! They just decide to reform immediately after. That’s what’s wrong with this company! They treat death like it’s an offense or sin and they decide to abandon it completely!
Disney won’t completely abandon 2D animation. There’s an upcoming 2D film on the way and legendary animator, Eric Goldberg, has said that there’s more to come!
If I made Ralph Breaks The Internet, I'd ditch the whole insecure Ralph subplot as it's out of character for him and undoes his character development from the first movie. I would keep the internet in the movie, but as more of an ending. The ending being that Latwick is shutting down his arcade and retiring. To save themselves, the characters migrate to the internet to live on in a virtual arcade.

I agree with every opinion in this video! This video really shows that Disney should go back to their original roots. I love all the 2D animated movies I've watched so far! They are much more colorful and give a feeling that I'm in the movie unlike the live action remakes.
unpopular opinion: 3D animation gets too much hate and y’all don’t appreciate the effort people put into it. Just because it’s not handdrawn doesn’t make it any easier in fact some aspects could be even harder and animators deserve respect for both forms of animation
I like the 3d animation like Moana, but I can't stand the live action. The lion king looses almost all of its charm by being a "live action" CGI wreck.
I don't agree with your opinion about the live-action remakes, but I do agree that Disney should do more 2-D animated films. Luckily, they're releasing a Tiana animated series next year, so hopefully that will have the same visual aesthetic as the original.

I agree with the first opinion Disney should do head draw movies again. And it's okay to do a mixture of both but still, head drawing characters is how Disney began.
Here's an idea; Disney should make a movie where every potential villain acts like a classic Disney villain, but only one of them turns out to be the real bad guy. That way you get classic villain plus twist villain at the same time.

Same thing if they do which Animated Movie or Cartoon Characters would make for Cuphead Bosses, there are thousands if not millions of different animated tv shows and movies characters that could fit Cuphead and to cover them all would take an eternity of videos. For some movies I would like WickedBinge to cover such as Chickenhare Good to Evil, League of Super Pets Dumb to Brilliant and Rise of the TMNT Movie Characters weak to powerful, I am starting to get worried that they will forget and never do them, though whether by just being forgetful or deliberately ignoring them, I can’t say, but I am starting to get inclined to believe they are intentionally ignoring them. I would be happy if WickedBinge does make the Chickenhare, League of Super Pets and Rise of the TMNT Videos I described in the Paragraph above and prove my fears wrong though.

Yes, Disney SHOULD go back to 2D animation, but they should also go back to CLASSIC Disney style music. Yes, Tangled is WAY better than Frozen. I'm thought I was the only one with that opinion. No, Hercules is NOT Disney's worst animated film, (admittedly not having seen 'Home on the Range', 'Brother Bear', 'Dinosaur', or 'Chicken Little') and, yeah, I'm aware this is probably an unpopular opinion, but, that title goes to Tarzan.
Honestly, I love the experimental era! I love of my favorite movies are in the 2000s anyway. Also Chicken Little (FAR from my favorite in this decade) is a bit of guilty pleasure due to it's music, same with Brother Bear. My favorites are Treasure Planet, Bolt, and definitely Atlantis.
I love Alice in Wonderland because Kathryn Beaumont is the voice of Alice that is the same voice of Wendy Darling who is a sister of John Darling and Michael Darling from Peter Pan.
CG & 2D Animation I agree Ralph Breaks The Internet Not my favorite sequel by any stretch. Disney Villains I really agree that the original villains are my favorites. Experimental Era My favorite movies from this era are Emperor’s New Groove & Lilo & Stitch. Disagree I really love both Frozen & Tangled equally. However I agree what you said about Mother Gothel is a better villain than Hans. Hercules This movie was uninteresting to me as a kid but appreciated it more as an adults. Nah, I don’t think that side kicks are annoying. I absolutely agree with what you said about the Gargoyles. Some of the direct to Disney Sequels aren’t as good as others. I personally feel the same way about the live action remakes. My least favorites are Mulan, The Jungle Book & The Lion King. My top favorite is Cinderella.

Robot Chicken Nerd (Robot Chicken)
As someone who grew up smack dab in the middle of the experimental era I most of my favorite Disney movies are from that era like bolt, brother bear, Atlantis the lost empire, and treasure planet, the only movie that tops all of these is one of a certain deer
18:04 to be fair fairy tale can be very different from each other for example. The story of Godfather Death is very different from Donkey Skin and Donkie Skin is very different from Hansel and Gretel.
There's people who DON'T like Hercules? I'm a big nerd when it comes to the Hellenic deities, there are SO MANY inaccuracies and so many mistakes in the movie, I know. But calling it the worst movie? That's way too harsh. It's a very enjoyable watch, the songs and the story are great and the characters are likeable. I like the movie a lot. Maybe not as much as I love other movies, but it's not a bad movie.
Actually I think 3D animation and 2D digital animation has less constraints since its less expensive. If many of Disney's old titals were made digitally they may have been able to do them better due to more budget.
Before they go into the Tangled vs Frozen, I have to admit... Tangled IS objectively better. Although I feel more closely identified with Elsa and Ana, especially Elsa in the second Frozen movie, I have to admit, Elsa is not as good a character as Rapunzel, and neither is Anna. The fact that mother Gothel exists also gives it an extra because a good villain is always better than a halfway cooked surprise villain, such as Hans, and most of the time better than no villain at all, like in Frozen II. No matter how much I love and personally prefer Frozen, I have to admit Tangled is an objectively better movie.
I think people forget how time consuming and expensive hand drawing an entire 2 hour movie can be, many movies would be released a lot later than they are while some we would still be waiting on, take a look at Cuphead, it took forever to release the game and dlc because it's entirely hand drawn
My Opinions on all of these Opinions: Disney should return to Hand-Drawn: Agree, but Disney should do both 2D and CG. As I say this, their upcoming film "Wish" is a combination of both CG and 2D. The Lion King is Overrated: Mixed. I agree that other movies of the time like "Hunchback" should get more love, but I still think The Lion King is a wonderful movie. Ralph Breaks the Internet should've been more original: Agree. CG Counterpart: Mixed. While I do like 2D more, I think Disney's CG films have been great ever since Tangled. Disney is Formulaic: Mixed. While I do agree, I still love the writing of Disney's films. Compelling Villains: Agree. Experimental Era: Mixed. There are great films from this era, but there are films like Home on the Range and Chicken Little. Tangled vs Frozen: Disagree. I love both to them for different reasons. Hercules is Bad: MAJOR DISAGREE! Annoying Sidekicks: Mixed. There are those who serve a purpose to the protagonist's journey, but then there are the ones who are just there to sell toys. No Sequels: Agree. While I did love Frozen II, I like it when Disney provides more original material, even if it's an adaptation. No Remakes: MAJOR AGREE! (Also: The Bob's Burger's Movie is NOT a Disney movie! I know the Walt Disney Company owns Fox, but Walt Disney Animation Studios did NOT make The Bob's Burger's Movie!)
I don't agree that every disney sidekick is annoying, there are a lot that I love and some are even part of my favorite characters of their respective movie like e.g. Pascal and Maximus, Timon and Pumbaa, Pegasus, Tantor and Terk, Geni etc, but I agree that they should go back to hand drawn 2D animation movies, at least split it 50/50 with the computer animation, because yes many of the 3D movie characters look at lot the same in their animation style, and mostly hand drawn animation to me is prettier and more unique, and maybe their is a lot of nostalgia in that type of animation for me, but it's a Shame, that Disney movies are (almost) only in 3D now, do they think hand drawn animation is too old fashioned or do they think kids nowadays prefer the 3D computer animation art style? I also agree that The old villains were better, and the best villain of their computeranimated movies is Mother Gothel. I also love some of the Disney sequels like the sequel to A goofey movie and The Lion King 2: Simbas Pride.
Hm, interesting, fair and valid points and opinions, i think i could agree with most of these as well, actually i think i could agree with this entire video, not bad.
The only sequel to a Disney film i actually like is Kronk's New Groove. It's funny, interesting, and doesn't feel out of place with the first one like all the others do. Frozen 2 and Ralph Breaks the Internet feel awkward and out of place beside the originals, and I don't need to mention the DVD sequels. Maybe because Kronk's New Groove leaves old main characters to a back burner makes it better
I loved both Frozen and Tangled as a young kid and I have to say I now only care for Tangled. Not that Frozen is bad, but I choose Tangled every day of the week and it's one of my favorite Disney movies.
I gotta admit, I do like the 1996 live-action "101 Dalmatians". Not only because the movie is full of adorable, real-life animals that don't talk, but also because one of the henchmen is played by Hugh Laurie (who happens to be my first crush).
BNA: Brand New Animal: sinner medals Wrath: Shirou because he hates humans and is very aggressive towards them or and anyone else that is loyal to them meaning that if a beastman were to work for a human Shirou would punish he/she. Pride: Alan because he views other beastmen as inferior to him and is discriminatory towards them because they were mix breeds. Greed: Marie itami because she scams others and wants to others to pay her like Michiru after saving her. Lust: Borris Cliff
My unpopular opinion is I like most of the remakes Disney has been retelling classic stories forever that's their main thing it's not like any of the princess movies are original except for maybe Frozen and Tangled in Pocahontas but that one has its own issues they're all based off of fairy tales that have been passed on for centuries the way I see the live-action remakes is it's just another way of telling the story and a lot of the remakes have answered questions that were never really answered in The originals or plot holes The originals had like beauty and the beast a lot of people have pointed out that in the original when beast was cursed he was 11 years old which some people have had some issues with they changed that in the remake also I seen some people ask the question if it was the prince who has cursed then how come his servants were punished as well they were innocent and we kind of get an answer to that in the remake also the way I see remakes and reboots are basically alternate universes from The originals like kind of like the multiverse for marvel and DC there is the original on how things happened in that world and then there's the remakes or the reboots were things weren't exactly the same and even though I haven't seen it yet the only one I would agree that we didn't really need is The Lion King I mean they could have animated it so that there was more expression in the animal's faces I mean this came after jungle book which was considered maybe not a masterpiece but I remember everyone loved jungle book
This is how I’d rank the Live Action Remakes Worst Mulan, Pinnochio. Lion King Middle Ground: The Jungle Book, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast Best Maleficent, Cinderella
@@Showtunediva I haven't seen Mulan or Pinocchio and I have heard bad things about them but from what I have seen so far they don't seem bad I said what I said about Lion King I haven't seen jungle book in a long time but I liked it I like Aladdin and beauty and the beast is my favorite remake I remember liking maleficent and Cinderella though I haven't seen them in a long time either I also liked lady and the tramp
I love exactly TWO Disney sequels and will not speak up for any other: Frozen II, and The Little Mermaid: Return To The Sea. You're free to hate Frozen II all you want, but I WILL DIE DEFENDING TLM RTTS. Edit: also, I do love the Cinderella: A Twist in Time. As a child I loved watching The Little Mermaid, but loved even more the sequel. A someone who was bullied and had not many friends, Melody's character really resonated with me. Also, as a very scaredy child, I could not for the life of me comprehend why Ariel would trust Ursula. She was downright TERRIFYING. I would have left that place so fast as soon as she started with her weird antics and overbearing attitude. On the other hand, Morgana was... not intimidating towards Melody. Like, at all. She was sweet, she was inviting, and she acted like she genuinely cared to help her. She was a sweet talker and took advantage of Melody's insecurities, pandered to her desire and to her longing to find her place. Melody trusting Morgana made completely perfect sense. Also, Melody's arc is all about finding herself. She feels like she doesn't belong, her quirks set her apart from her peers and they laugh at her. She feels disconnected from so much of her surroundings and desperately wants to get away from all the pressures put on her. Compare that to Ariel who, admittedly, had an overbearing father when it came to going to the surface, but that was literally it. She was allowed to go anywhere she wanted with hardly any supervision, she missed important events that her father asked her to attend, she was already quite rebellious and was still daddy's favourite. And, I'm sorry, if you agree to anything someone says the way Ursula speaks to Ariel in a cave filled with "debtors" turned into what looked like sentient algae, you DESERVE to be cursed, it's just Darwinism at it's finest. You're dumb. Although I must admit that Ursula is a way more iconic villain and the music and animation have better quality in the original movie. Still I will defend the movie with my life.
The hand drawing opinion physically hurts me. CGI provides so much freedom and I 1000% disagree with returning to hand drawn. You said that all 3D films end up looking the same, but it's truthfully the opposite. Hand drawn films by Disney all look the same. Digital modeling and animation make your imagination truly the limit and has led to so many impressive projects, especially when paired with Pixar. All the newer films are unique and the world building is so much more immersive. You can really feel like you're absorbed in the stories.

As someone who grew up smack dab in the middle of the experimental era I most of my favorite Disney movies are from that era like bolt, brother bear, Atlantis the lost empire, and treasure planet, the only movie that tops all of these is one of a certain deer
Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul: Good to Evil
Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul: Dumb to Brilliant
Amphibia and The Owl House Characters: Good to Evil, Dumb to Brilliant and Weak to Powerful!
All Dreamworks movies ranked worst to best
Herc is my fave 90 classic
Jumanji Franchise Good to Evil
Most Good: Nora Shepard
Neutral: Animals
Most Evil: The Master of Jumanji
Yes!
i agree on hercules being underrated
Can you do Disney direct to video sequels/prequels/midquels worst to best?
I’d like to see this list too.
Vivo characters: good to evil
Make StarWars lightsaber users weak to powerful or family guy celebrity’s good to evil plsssssssssssssssss
Lilo and Stitch is the best of the Expermental era
What if you guys do good to evil with kids comic books
Can you do a DreamWorks version?
Yeah they really should
Tangled has a sequel. It came out in March 2020.
Really? I haven’t seen it.
Plus es en Vous
hunckules is beautiful. oh sry, i mean hercules 😏
When Disney gets a hold of Nintendo there were a lot of New Princess and Villains.
Jumanji Franchise Sinner Medals
Darwin- Peter
Greed- Trader Slick
Lust- Bethany
Envy- Alan
Wrath- Jurgen the Brutal
Sloth- Sarah
Pride- Ashton Phillips
Yes!
To be fair there was slaughter race 3:51 and that’s a game
Is tangled better than frozen?
Me: Yes
With Cartoon Network characters will win Squidgame?
Probably the live action remakes are there to be intentionally bad to show that animation is not the lesser form of art
Disney (All Characters, including Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, etc.): Good to Evil
That video would be really long.

But then again, it IS Disney’s centennial!
Actually I think 3D animation and 2D digital animation has less constraints since its less expensive. If many of Disney's old titals were made digitally they may have been able to do them better due to more budget.
I like Olaf ☃️
My Opinions on all of these Opinions:
Disney should return to Hand-Drawn: Agree, but Disney should do both 2D and CG.
You should remake Disney villains evil to most evil. You forgot villains like Shere Khan, Dawn Bellweather and many others
My favourite villains are Hades, Scar, Jafar, Ursula, Mother Gothel, Yzma, Claude Frollo and Clayton.
Thomas and Friends: Good to Evil
Cars on the Road: Good to Evil please WickedBinge, I don’t care what you or anyone else says about the Cars movies, they’re awesome
In relation to the last opinion discussed, if there HAD to be another Disney remake, which movie(s) would y’all like to see remade?
How about Meta Runner: Good to Evil?
I loved both Frozen and Tangled as a young kid and I have to say I now only care for Tangled. Not that Frozen is bad, but I choose Tangled every day of the week and it's one of my favorite Disney movies.
Yeah simular opinion here, and to be honest I found Olaf to be somewhat annoying.
I gotta admit, I do like the 1996 live-action "101 Dalmatians". Not only because the movie is full of adorable, real-life animals that don't talk, but also because one of the henchmen is played by Hugh Laurie (who happens to be my first crush).
I agree with you about Hercules
Maybe you should rank the direct to DVD Disney sequels from Worst to Best
I already know the best is either going to be the lion king 2 or Cinderella three
@@Anime_theatre_lover I hope Tarzan 2 is put up high among some of the best
Oh Kifi, wait till you get to 2023 when you see what Disney is doing with their remakes

BNA: Brand New Animal: sinner medals
Wrath: Shirou because he hates humans and is very aggressive towards them or and anyone else that is loyal to them meaning that if a beastman were to work for a human Shirou would punish he/she.
Pride: Alan because he views other beastmen as inferior to him and is discriminatory towards them because they were mix breeds.
Greed: Marie itami because she scams others and wants to others to pay her like Michiru after saving her.
Lust: Borris Cliff
I'm more into both 2D and 3D Animation. 😏
I’d love to see Disney do sequel movies for Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Encanto, and other movies!
This is how I’d rank the Live Action Remakes
Worst Mulan, Pinnochio. Lion King
Middle Ground: The Jungle Book, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast
Best Maleficent, Cinderella
@@Showtunediva I haven't seen Mulan or Pinocchio and I have heard bad things about them but from what I have seen so far they don't seem bad I said what I said about Lion King I haven't seen jungle book in a long time but I liked it I like Aladdin and beauty and the beast is my favorite remake I remember liking maleficent and Cinderella though I haven't seen them in a long time either I also liked lady and the tramp
Lilo and Stitch is my favourite Disney movie
