Paint prep is what makes the finished job stand out I used to take pride in my work while in a lorry body shop it was a sight when we rolled them out into the sunshine. This metallic black is going to pop in the sunshine it's sparkly!
@@RRCRestoration I was the fastest worker in that workshop just one day to sand a full lorry and trailer - I wouldn't go up and down the big step ladder I'd just hop it along while still up it! The worst one I did was sanded by hand(3days) with 80 grit to remove the gloss paint he had used to brush paint the truck then another sand with the orbit to smooth it out! By FAR, the best restoration channel. You’ve come a long way my friend. Just the perfect balance of skill, content, editing, humour and talk. Others should take note. Thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to the next episode. Have a great weekend.
Lovely bit of work, I also swear by the wonderful stuff from Bilt Hamber. Their pail tin version of UB is fabulous for smearing on vulnerable bolts and seams underneath.
Great work, lots of painstaking work put in. Enjoy watching as you don’t just talk, talk and talk and no work done like quite a few other channels. Enjoy the work done with what you’re doing. Excellent

Watching from Thailand at the moment. Both the North and South are suffering from flooding after extreme rains, and many of their possessions are gone or ruined. Luckily for you it’s just an inconvenience but I know you’ll overcome. It could have been much worse. Keep on restoring. 👍
Thank you very much my friend, Im torn with the rims i cant decide whether to go for the stock SiR ones or go for something a bit more " tuner" oriented.
I wasn't too sure about painting the car black, cause it's a bit of a boring color honestly, but the paint you chose looks absolutely brilliant on it. Best of luck getting the shop all cleaned up. This build is extremely satisfying to watch.
I thought this car was too far gone when I saw the first episode. Your patience and dedication have proved me wrong. Good job with the work you've performed!

Hi, awesome job, as always.I don't want to sound like someone who points out the flaws, but I saw a few inconsistencies on panels. You can use a guide coat on powder. I have a feeling that it doesn't clog sandpaper as much as spray, and you can apply it before blocking the body and between the different sandpaper grids to be sure there are no streaks. Also, what i found very helpful is wet the surface with water or gerase remover and look at it at different angles it simulates finished paint and shows al of the imperfections. Again, I really like the project, and these are just steps that help me every time.
