    I couldn't wait long enough to buy the right ingredients, so I used peanut butter instead of cashews and molasses instead of maple syrup because that's what I had. I suppose the original recipe is a bit lighter, and I am very excited to try it again! But even with substitutions they taste amazing.

      @Living Healthy With Chocolate @@T. G. Hawaii?? I am available for an in-home taste-tester and only need food as payment. Coconut oil and cashews are not that expensive. I wonder how this works with pecans, which are more expensive but very healthy (esp for men). Real organic versions of any food is more expensive because you are not participating in the mass experiment. Most 'food-like products', as C. Leaf calls them, are slow poison and made to eventually send your to the doctor for drugs. Spend money now (healthy) or later (miserable). GMOs are illegal to sell in a growing number of countries and the US populace barely knew the term 10 years ago. That there is a choice, is insane.

    Probably the most expensive brownie I have ever made. Also, it doesn't work on regular food processors. You either have to soak the cashews overnight (a heads up would have been nice) or use a very good machine! In the end, I didn't think it was worth it.

    Can’t wait to try this recipe! It seems like a great alternative to using dates, which is what I usually use

    That amount of nuts, it's insane. It's not so cool for your body and digestion

      vasilisa22 if you have 1 peace a day nothing will happen but if you eat the whole thing alone in one day you will be consuming a lot of calories and fat

    • @anningl2588

      Nuts have a lot of fat but a very healthy fat. Fat is necessary for your body even if you want to make a diet. It is more important to reduce bad carbs like white sugar or white flour than good fats from nuts or from native oils.

      @maya-jh6iw 5 лет назад +1

      @Anni Ngl, you are right, nuts have healthy fats but healthy doesnt mean that you can eat a whole bag of it. Its about balance. And eating masses of healthy nuts or for example avocado is indeed very unhealthy and will lead to weight gain because of the high calories.

    • @anningl2588
      @anningl2588 5 лет назад +2

      @@hawra8099 Yes, but then it is a problem of the amount and not of the fat of nuts. Too much is always unhealthy, because it is too much. ;-)

    • @maya-jh6iw
      @maya-jh6iw 5 лет назад +1

      Was that directed to me or to the other commenter?
      Well the original comment was about the amount and did not question the health of the nut itself :-) but I am glad that you know that, it did sound different to me :-)
