You may not want to make changes in the nib when you start writing with the fabulous nib. The Euphoria model is extraordinary. I write with them daily.
I got my Earl Grey about a month ago. I just could not pass it up, even though the ordering meant additional taxes as I am in Europe. This is my third Benu (I have two Talismans) and i love them all. In regards to the big amount of threads on the body (to unscrew the grip section) - I trust that would be a good thing. If you decide to use it as an eye-dropper, the more threads you have, the smaller chance to have a leak. It just gives a bit more protection. I may be wrong on this, but it makes sense to me.
Okay, that makes sense about the extra threads. Just takes forever. Something I'll just have to get used to cause so far, I love writing with this pen. Thanks for that bit of info and for watching!
So crazy! I had the EXACT same thing happen to me! 🤣 🤣 🤣 I wasn't intending to buy another pen & forgot that I had asked to be notified when they came back into stock, & well... When I got the restock email, I kind of didn't have a choice, right? 🤔 😂 I LOVE it! ❤ I also didn't see the draw of BENU pens either because I generally prefer understated pens... I now own FOUR Benu pens... Because they just write so darn buttery!

Others have been clearance or secondhand) & one Briolette since I wanted to try an extra fine which, alas, is not offered on the larger pens. One of the secondhand ones is a broad nib (which isn't my usual inclination) but I can flip it over & it writes just as smoothly with a finer line. I was planning to swap it out with a fine nib replacement, but I kind of like the versatility of having basically 2 pens in one.
I got the Benu Euphoria in Gold Coast and I love it so much. The glitter and resin coloring reminds me of the beach in Aruba and I love the way it writes. The shimmer inks really the properties well with this pen. I hope you really enjoy it!
what a coincidence, i just got my Benu Earl Grey in the mail today!! i personally have never been a fan of how flashy Benu pens tend to be. that being said, this one really struck me but it took me a while to decide whether to get it. i always love seeing your videos, thank you for sharing Grace :)

Of all the Earl Grey videos I have seen recently, yours captures its beauty the most. I, too, am a tea lover, and Earl Grey has been my tea of choice for a while now. I’ve never been the biggest Benu fan, but I will admit they have been growing on me slowly. But when I saw Drew Brown talk about it in a video recently, something in me just clicked and it jumped to my short list. For me personally, pens are a very tactile thing (besides all the other aspects like beauty and function). I’m definitely a smoothness loving girl. So the smoothness of the resin juxtaposed with all the visual interest is *extremely* appealing to me. And the fact that Goulet even designed a matching dragon sticker is the bonus foam on the London Fog! Oohhh the girthy size you say? (Who’s tiping this as she watches the video? This girl right here. lol😂) Oh my goodness that “reel it in” just got me. Focus… Anyhoo, I too love me a girthy pen. I think this will now be my next major pen purchase from Goulet. Also, new sub. So glad to have another *very* like-minded pen lover to add to my RUclips rotation!! 😊 Oh, I also really enjoy the Diamond 580. It was my first TWSBI. I got in with a medium nib, and it is just so round and smooth. “I tried not to notice it…” Girl, I FEEL YOU!! 😆

Benu Euphoria is the only "pricey" fountain pen in my collection currently. I got mine in . At first, I was terribly disappointed because it was scratchy. I even reached out to the store I bought it from, wondering if there is an adjustment period for the Schmidt nibs. They were puzzled and offered to ship it back and take a look. I really didn't want to part with it that long and decided to see if it improved over time. It's a few months later, and I can say that I actually do enjoy it now. Maybe there was a small bur from manufacturing? Who knows. Nothing showed up under magnification, except possibly a nib slit that looks off-center (one tine is wider than the other). But I have my eye on another Benu because I'm an "over the top" person when it comes to the look of my fountain pens. (This is completely opposite my usual personality. Even my daughter is puzzled by my fascination with them.) 😂
I think it's hilarious your daughter doesn't recognize the "pen" person you are. That's okay tho...enjoy all the "over the tops". We use the pens we enjoy looking at. I'm glad you the nib "fixed" itself so you can write with it now. 🥰
I NEVER thought I’d be a Benu pen lover, but I am now a convert. I have the same pen and I love it. I used to think they were gawdy and ugly but I love them. Somehow, they are some of my smoothest writers and I always have an enjoyable writing experiences. I bet you’ll be buying another, just like the rest of us. 😊 great video and have a good day!

I really thought I was in a very, very small minority of ppl who found the pens almost garrish in their style but here I am with the glitziest of glitzy pens in my possession. The smoothness of the writing was the clincher for me when I got it in hand. If there was any scratchiness I would prolly not feel as strongly as I do about how I love this pen. That's how I ended up with this BENU! I saw a way, way, too cool pen and couldn't pass it up. If I find a way to NOT buy I'll shout it from the rooftop. There are some who will have cotton in their ears tho and will ignore my cries .😆 Thanks for watching too!
I love mine so much. I saw a post about it on the reddit fountain pen page and managed to grab it the first time it was in stock. I currently have it inked with Diamine Sepia and it's truly one of my all time favorite pen/ink combos.
I have two Benu Euphorias they write so well. I have thought of trying other styles but haven’t yet. Most or a bit too much for me I tend to gravitate to earthy tones or neutrals and so many of their pens are NOT.

I got the Benu Euphoria French Poetry earlier this month as a birthday gift to myself. I was sure I was going to get the Esterbrook Estie Botanical Garden but I went shopping in person for a pen for the first time and got to see both. I looked at the Esterbrook first and liked it but when the sales associate put the Benu in my hand I instantly fell in love. Even the SA said they knew I was going to go with the Benu because they saw my reaction and how my eyes lit up the moment they placed it in my hand.
That's funny how even the SA knew that BENU was gonna be your pen. Before this Euphoria purchase I hadn't looked at any BENUs and now I can say I have 2 more on my wish list...French Poetry now included. Also.....Happy Belated Birthday! 🎉

Fun tip 😊 if you hold the pen cap in your non writing hand, that helps loosen up your grip on your writing hand! I didn’t believe it until I tried it. Beautiful pen 🎉

I laughed when you were talking about how the pen just ended up in your cart, and somehow got purchased and showed up at your house. Benu clips weren't meant to be lifted up from the clip end. Press down on the top of the clip, and it will pop right up. I love the bling of Benu pens. I have eight of them.

Great video Grace. Earl grey is my favourite tea, we English and our tea! I was exactly the same as you all my pens were minimal in style and I thought I would never get a glittery pen until I saw and fell in love with the Benu minima mystical green. I love it, such a great writer as well. I now have an esterbrook Estie in botanical garden and I was like who are you? Enjoy your new pen.
It does make you do the tilted head that dogs do when you go so far outside your norm, especially for pens. The Mystical Green BENU looks like fully astral. Wow.

Be u’s are sparkly, but they also have super wet Schmidt nibs, which are great to write with.

Not posting means you don't have to go to timbuktu to remove the cap, it's that long, 😂 That Tiger's Eye pen is almost exactly the same. Wow.

I laughed when you were talking about how the pen just ended up in your cart, and somehow got purchased and showed up at your house. Benu clips weren't meant to be lifted up from the clip end. Press down on the top of the clip, and it will pop right up. I love the bling of Benu pens. I have eight of them.

Great video Grace. Earl grey is my favourite tea, we English and our tea! I was exactly the same as you all my pens were minimal in style and I thought I would never get a glittery pen until I saw and fell in love with the Benu minima mystical green. I love it, such a great writer as well. I now have an esterbrook Estie in botanical garden and I was like who are you? Enjoy your new pen.
It does make you do the tilted head that dogs do when you go so far outside your norm, especially for pens. The Mystical Green BENU looks like fully astral. Wow.

I have the Benu Bourbon (very glitzy and I love love it). I have the Talisman Peacock and the Talisman Dream Bean. I am still thinking about the Earl Grey for sure. It's gorgeous !!
