The movie THE SNOWDROP FESTIVAL from the cottage settlement Kersko unravels the tale of a heated dispute between two hunting clubs, sparked by the fateful shot of a boar. Adapted from a book by the eminent Czech writer Bohumil Hrabal and brought to life by none other than Academy award winning director Jiří Menzel, this tender comedy has etched itself into the collective consciousness of every Czech.
Thanks to the Some Like It Czech project, this gem graces the screen at Cinema Aero again. And what's more? It is screened with English subtitles and a witty introduction before the film.
