We are getting one in a few days. Thanks for the nice video. I may post a video of ours. We purchased an in May 2023, a new Electrolux. We had one before and loved it and the old one was made in Sweden. Now the new ones are made in Georgia and it was a lemon. After 8 service calls and 40 parts replaced (as some were not installed when made). The QA people in Georgia never tested it. It was a horrible 5 months. No one contacted us until we wife wrote the LEGAL DEPARTMENT OF ELECTROLUX. Ten days and they picked up the stove and refund my total investment.

It seems like anything that was produced during the Covid years have had a lot of problems due to the shortage of parts and people not working or working in a limited capacity. I know they are saying not to buy certain years of cars because of this. I wonder if it affected the appliance industry the same way? Either way I’m glad you got it all worked out and are getting a new stove. You’re going to love it. We use it daily and it’s been great. It’s loaded with a lot of great features.
It's an amazing range and you are going to love it. Glad I could help in any way I can. I just cooked some chicken cordon bleu in it last night and it was perfect.

Glad to hear you got your new range. It is a fantastic range that is absolutely loaded with features. The air fry does work amazingly. I love cooking our little store bought frozen pizza’s in it using the convection oven. They come out perfect every time. The edges are nice and crispy and just the way I like it. Thank you for helping me with the pronunciation of “ Sue vee”. I need all the help I can get ;o)
You have great taste! I recently purchased this very oven. Haven't used it as of yet, the kitchen is being remodeled. Thanks for the preview of this fantastic appliance.
Sorry for the late reply but I just turned my oven on to "BAKE" about 15 minutes ago and the digital display was showing 100*/f and once the oven got above that temperature it started going up in 5*/f increments until it reached its set point of 350*/f. So long story short it does show the oven temperature as it heats once it gets above the 100*/f starting point.
Have you noticed any problems with the burner caps? Some reviewers at other online sites have said they discolor and do not clean up very well. One other complaint I saw was that the area around the burners scratched easily, but it looks like those complaints are specific to the stainless top. Thanks for posting this review.
Hello, I just went and inspected all of my burner caps and they still look like new. If you were to clean them I would just use warm/hot water with a semi stiff bristled brush to clean them and let them air dry on the counter. Just pulled the trigger on one of these today. How's she been treating your family for the past couple years, any issues? Thanks for the vid - very helpful!
Hello, She’s been treating the family great! I did have a problem a while back where I came into the kitchen and I could smell natural gas. Pulled the stove out and made sure all the fitting were tight along with soaping all the connections but couldn’t find a leak. Actually used my nose (like a dog) to pinpoint where the smell was coming from. It seemed to be coming from the regulator area on the back of the stove. I called LG and they sent out an LG rep who replaced one part which didn’t fix the problem so I called them again and they replaced one more part that did fix the problem. The LG rep was great and very knowledgeable. Over all great experience with the warranty department. Other than that it’s been perfect. Couldn’t be happier. Stove still looks like the day they delivered it. My wife doesn’t let it get dirty but it’s honestly not hard to keep clean.
Our oven stays surprisingly clean. My wife never lets it get too dirty. The owners manual says to NOT put aluminum foil in the bottom of the oven to protect it so we don’t do that. When we cook a pizza in the oven that doesn’t require something underneath it my wife and I place a large cookie sheet on the very bottom of the oven to catch any drippings and then take it out after we are done cooking it. Other than that we haven’t taken any other precautions. We will both periodically wipe it out with a damp cloth while it’s warm in the oven to help clean it out. It still pretty much looks brand new inside so we must be doing something right ;o)
I am really curious about the griddle. Does it heat evenly throughout its length? Have you tested this with pancakes or bacon? Also have you used the broiler at all? A reviewer mentioned a negative experience with it - that it had a very hot area right down the middle so he had to turn his food midway thru broiling to get an even sear. Thank you!
The griddle surface is quite rough. We have experimented with different cleaning methods and our conclusion is to put it in the sink and use a stiff bristled brush with running water to clean it. No soap or anything else. Also don’t try and dry it with paper towels or any kind of cloth. It is so rough that it will leave lint behind which takes away from the beauty of the stove. We clean the burner grates the exact same way. We personally have not treated it with oil afterwards. It would be a dirt magnet if you did. You can use oil on it just prior to using it in my opinion. Let me know if this helps or if you need more information.
Nice review. I do Sous vide (sue veed) cooking all the time with my Joule and it works VERY well. So that being said you still for flavor, sear your cook prior to eating. I use a Propane torch with a “Sears-all” which does the trick but it WILL set off the smoke detectors, so do that part outside. Since like yours, my boiler is gas as well. So I’m hoping that I can do the steering part inside without setting off smoke alarms. I also wanted to note that the middle part where the griddle goes is the big burner yes. However you said that’s where you use a Wok. That is incorrect the front right burner is where you want to use a Wok with the Wok attachment which is included with this range. If you’ll notice and compare the front right burner has two circles of flame a small inner one to heat the middle of your Wok and a larger outside ring to heat the outside diameter of your walk. The front right burner on this range is about 22,000 BTU which is plenty for the average home consumer to do wok cooking. You may have corrected that in a comment somewhere if you did my apologies I didn’t see it. But still an excellent video, so thank you for sharing!
Thank you for taking the time to explain the process of sous vide cooking. I've had a steak cooked that way one time and it was amazing. I still haven't done it yet in the new oven but at some point I will. You are also 100% right as to the front right burner being used for Wok cooking. I don't know what I was thinking when I said the center burner was used for that. My wife even went back and watched my video and said I was an idiot ;o) Now I have to go find where I hid the Wok attachment. Hopefully this discussion will help others in their decision making and keep them better informed. Your response is greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
Do the grills peel ? I want to buy this range but worried about the bad review on the grates and burners peeling flaking ? Also is this a touch screen? I don’t think so from your review which would be great as I prefer no touch screen ! Thank you
Hello, I went and looked our grates and burners over last night and they have shown no signs of peeling or anything even remotely close to it. This screen is a touch screen. It works very well and makes the stove look sleek, modern and very easy to clean. We are very happy with our stove. It’s by far the best and nicest range we’ve ever owned. I can understand you not wanting certain things though. I know sometimes all these electronics can have problems. We’ve had none so far though.
@@cmf38 You will be very happy you did in my opinion. I’m not sure if people are having problems because of using harsh chemicals or something else. My wife uses a wet paper towel after cooking to wipe everything down if it’s splattered and only uses a semi stiff bristled brush and warm water to clean the grates and caps in the sink if they get really dirty. You’re going to love it . It’s a great pick in my opinion. The blue on the inside of the oven area looks great also. It’s an all around amazing range. Couldn’t be happier with it.
Thanks for this great video! I am looking at this unit - but with PrintProof Stainless Steel Top instead of the Black. I have been reading reviews and some people complain about the burner covers peeling, staining, rusting and the grates also don't look nice after using it for a while. Have you had any problems with cleaning the top - burner covers or the grates? Thank you!
Hello, I just went and double checked ours and I see no peeling, staining, rusting, etc.... on the top area. My wife takes a wet paper towel each time after cooking and she wipes anything off of it so our still looks brand new. As for the cleaning the grates all we do is put them in the sink and use a semi stiff bristled brush and clean them with water only and just let them air dry. If you try to use any type of towel or paper towel to hand try them it just gets lint all over them since they are such a rough surface. All our grates look brand new still.
It’s a wonderful range and you’re going to love it. I couldn’t recommend it more. It has a ton of great features and it’s a joy to cook on. We use use the stove top, the oven or both daily. It’s an absolute joy to use.
You are 100% correct. I had another person correct me also. I got this LG range confused with our old LG range we had prior when doing this review and I did a dumb dumb ;o)
Do you know why the lag6335f The front sreen is not lighting Stay black. Jane to turn on all light in the kitchen to choose any fontion on it I been 5 time with LG they argue it is made like that For me it is no seance to have a LCD screen with out light
I just ordered this range, and I haven't finished watching the entire video but have a couple questions. If I push the light button to turn on the light in the oven, does the light stay on or does it automatically turn off? I am hoping that the light stays on until I choose to turn it off by pressing the button again. Also, what if I press light to turn the light on, then I open the oven door, and close it again. Will the light stay on, or does it turn off? Lastly, when baking something normally, at let's say 350 degrees without convection, is there a fan that blows exhaust air out those vents in the rear of the oven? If so, is the fan really loud or fairly quiet? Thanks in advance! I already ordered this thru Costco, but I won't get it till Oct 10th.
I'm not a 100% positive on the light because I'm not patient enough to see if it turns itself off or not. The light seems to stay on until you hit the light button again to turn it off I'm thinking. There is a more fun way to turn the light off/on though which is to tap the glass oven door 2x with your knuckle to turn it off/on which is honestly what I've always done. I find it more fun. The light does stay on when you turn it on, open the oven door and then close it again. Yes there is a fan that blows exhaust out of the rear of the oven. I don't find it loud in my opinion. Most of the time when we are running the oven we are cooking at the same time so we will have the microwave fan on to suck up the steam or fumes so it kind of disguises the sound of the oven fan. I never really stopped to think about it.
I just purchased this model but the pictures show a stainless steel cooktop but yours appears to be black porcelain enamel. Does this range come in different variations? Thanks for your informative video!
Hello, It came with the stove when I received it. I almost threw it away thinking I would never use it. I’m sure glad I didn’t though. I recently replaced the flex gas line that goes from my natural gas to the stove with a longer 4 ft one and it needs to go further up the wall now when you push the stove back into place. There would have been a large gap behind the stove since it now hits the flex gas line now when I push it back into place. I can look up the part number if you need me to or give you the companies phone number if you need to order one. Let me know if I can help in any way.
@@jspilman5743 Hi. Thank you so much for your reply. My oven range came in without it. I love it but the gap saver would be a great addition to finish off the look. Yes, can you give me the part number so that I may order it too. Thank you
@@mikeelias6315 Hello, After doing some research today I found in the owners manual that the rear filler is provided with the unit and there is no part number listed in the accessories section. That being said I would either call their customer support at 1-850-999-4934 or 1-800-243-0000 with your model number and serial number off your stove and see if they can ship you one for free. You can also email their customer support with the same information. They also have an on-line chat and you can contact them via social media if you go to LG.com I’m guessing since they forgot to put it in your packaging with the stove they should send you one for free. Tell them you need the “optional rear filler” for your make and model and they should be able to figure it out fairly easily.
@@jspilman5743 thank you. I will definitely get in touch with LG. It’s just the last piece of the puzzle in an otherwise great unit. Thanks again for all your help
Mine doesn't sit completely flush with the wall either because I put a longer gas line on it so I can pull it out from the wall to clean under it periodically. The spacer they give you does a great job of disguising the gap though. I had one person who didn't get the gap filler when they received their oven but they were able to contact LG and they sent it to them for free if I'm not mistaken.
You are 100% right and I'm 100% wrong ;o) The bottom drawer is strictly for storage. I got this one confused with the LG stove we just replaced. Thank you for noticing and asking the question.
Unfortunately, oven temperatures cannot be adjusted once the oven is started after the initial setting. The oven control needs to be turned off and then restarted with a different temperature.
Can you please share how much you paid for it and/or any insights into average price? Currently looking into buying this and most places have it listed for $2k.
Hello, how you find oven baking and broil heat compared to electric. I heard oven heat is not as consistent as electric. This one reason I am thinking of buying hybrid heat, but LG doesn’t make one. Also how did you find over using gas cost wise. We pay pretty high rate here in Victoria BC.
Hello, I’m not sure I can compare one to the other since I don’t have both. I haven’t found the oven heat to be inconsistent though. I’m constantly cooking fish sticks, frozen pizzas, lasagna, chicken pot pies, chicken cordon bleu, french fries, onion rings, cookies, etc…. and all have been cooked to perfection. I live in California and PG&E keeps raising our prices for gas and electric. I was paying $2.09 per therm last season and they are going to increase it even more this year they said. In my personal opinion an oven doesn’t use that much gas compared to my central heat or our gas fireplace so I don’t worry about it that much. I will say that there are times when we will use our countertop air fryer if the item we are trying to cook is small enough to save money though. Over all we are extremely happy with our range. It is loaded with features and looks amazing.
I’m not a 100% sure I understand your question. If you’re asking about the filler piece in the back it is a filler piece. I installed a longer natural gas flex line on the back of my stove so I can pull it out periodically to clean under it. When I did this it made my stove no longer go back up against the wall flush like it did before so I installed this filler piece in the back to fill the void. The oven came with it and it only took (3) screws to install it. Quite easy. Let me know if this answers your question or not. I’ll gladly help anyway I can.
Hello, I finally got around to checking this for you and my flame is pretty much yellow with a tinge of orange possibly. If I stare at it hard enough a very small portion of the flame is blue but the mast majority is definitely yellow. If I'm not mistaken there is a glow plug back there which gives off the orangish glow the most and it was blue at the very bottom of the flame where I think it draws air in at but I could be wrong. Hopefully this helps. Let me know if I need to describe it better. I'm in California and I'm on PG&E natural gas so it may burn differently.
Hello, I need conven.bake at 400F, but oven automatically turned it to 350F. Does it mean that I can't set the needed temperature? How can I set 400F? Thank you. 😊
Hello, I just went and experimented on my oven and all I did was turn the oven knob to CONV. BAKE and hit the TEMP button and inputed the temperature I wanted on the digital keypad and hit START and it worked perfectly. Let me know if this works for you or not. It worked perfectly for me.
Hello, I just went and turned mine on to "high", "medium" and "low" and you are right. The center burner does not get as big as you think it would on "high". I'm not sure if there is a way to make it any higher other then turning the knob. I'm not sure why the designed it that way.
I just texted my wife asking if we had to do a "burn in" on the oven and she doesn't recall having to do one and I don't recall having to do one either. I'm sure it's in my manual somewhere but I'll have to see if I can find it.
Hello, The minimum temperature on the oven appears to be 170*/f. I just went and turned my on to "BAKE" and tried to input 100*/f and it automatically changed it to 170*/f.
@@mollyhylton6558 That is fantastic news! You got yourself a good husband. You are going to absolutely love this stove. I love to just sit and look at it. Especially love it when the oven door is open and seeing the blue coating on the inside makes it look so nice and modern.
I didn’t know that. Thank you for sharing. The lighted knobs aren’t a make it or break it feature but they are kind of cool and makes identifying which burner is on a little easier. The burners on this range are fantastic. That surprises me that they would take away the fancy burner. We use them to rapidly boil water quite often.
I got this last week and frankly a bit disappointed that there's no true remote start function for the oven, you have to manually set it at the oven every time so the advertisements of being about to go to the store to scan and have it preheat is not really true. The app is almost useless for this appliance. Otherwise I love the range, looks and functions great
hello Thank you for your review. I'm looking at LSDL6336F which is electric convection wondering what you think as a friend said it saves energy with electric oven and gas top. Is this one all gas?
Hello. This one is indeed all natural gas. I hadn’t heard about the electric oven with gas top saving energy. Up until recently (in California) it was always much cheaper to use natural gas vs electricity on your water heater, central heat, dryer, etc…. I’m currently paying almost .32 cents per kWh at Tier 1 for electricity and $1.92 per therm on natural gas with PG&E. If you live somewhere that you can get cheap electricity it would make sense to me to get it with the electric oven for sure. They’ve raised our prices so much this season that they are both now ridiculous. I’ve had both an electric oven and a gas oven over the years and they both seem to work great in my opinion. I’ve always preferred a gas burner vs an electric burner though when it comes to the stove top. This oven is so advanced that you are going to be happy with whatever version you get. It’s an amazing oven and just loaded with features that you are going to love. Let me know if I can help further in your decision making or if this helped at all.
Thank you for the help. I honestly couldn't figure out how to say it to save my life ;o) My brother in law cooked some steaks that way for us and they were amazing. This oven definitely does it all.

@@lewbie99 Hello Lewbie99, You will need to pull the stove out far enough so that you can get a phillips screw driver behind it. Once it’s out far enough you will need to remove somewhere between 3 to 5 small screws that line up with the screw holes in the filler panel. It’s quite easy to do and won’t take more then a few minutes if that. I personally slide my stove out periodically to clean under it so I put those furniture sliders on the stoves little feet and it slides in/out very easily. I also put a longer flexible gas line on mine so that I could pull it out further then normal. I find vitamins, spaghetti noodles and all kinds of stuff under there sometimes.
Thank you!
Hello,
I just went and double checked ours and I see no peeling, staining, rusting, etc.... on the top area.
Great review! I’m looking to possibly pul the trigger on this oven next month
It’s a wonderful range and you’re going to love it. I couldn’t recommend it more. It has a ton of great features and it’s a joy to cook on. We use use the stove top, the oven or both daily. It’s an absolute joy to use.
Pretty sure that bottom drawer isn’t a broiler drawer. I enjoyed your review
You are 100% correct. I had another person correct me also. I got this LG range confused with our old LG range we had prior when doing this review and I did a dumb dumb ;o)
Do you know why the lag6335f
The front sreen is not lighting
Stay black. Jane to turn on all light in the kitchen to choose any fontion on it
I been 5 time with LG they argue it is made like that
For me it is no seance to have a LCD screen with out light
I just got this stove. Does the knob for the oven control light up? All of my burner knobs light up except this one.
I just went and checked on mine and it does not light up on the outer white ring.
Just curious, how much did it cost through Costco?
@@bethmohit5822a nosotros cómo 1,200 por allí
I honestly don't know. I've never gone looking to see.
Hi. Where did you find the gap extension at the back of the oven
Hello,
It came with the stove when I received it.
Thank you

Hello,
After doing some research today I found in the owners manual that the rear filler is provided with the unit and there is no part number listed in the accessories section.
What’s the difference between this one and. The studio
Air sous vide !!!! That was funny. I just ordered this today. Sadly mine wont sit flush with the wall because of the gas connection
@@jspilman5743 well mine came with the spacer. So it's like almost flush lol. I thought it was gonna stick out more. But it's perfect !
How has your oven performed so far? Any issues? My wife and I just purchased a similar model (LSGL5833F) and are curious.
It's been perfect so far. Still loving it. Cooks everything perfectly. You're going to love it.
I more question - you said the bottom drawer is for broiling. I thought it was just a storage drawer and the broiler unit was inside the stove?
You are 100% right and I'm 100% wrong ;o) The bottom drawer is strictly for storage. I got this one confused with the LG stove we just replaced. Thank you for noticing and asking the question.
how do you turn on the ventilador
Unfortunately, oven temperatures cannot be adjusted once the oven is started after the initial setting. The oven control needs to be turned off and then restarted with a different temperature.
Ew that sucks. Any other quirks?
Can you please share how much you paid for it and/or any insights into average price?
Currently looking into buying this and most places have it listed for $2k.
Hello, how you find oven baking and broil heat compared to electric. I heard oven heat is not as consistent as electric. This one reason I am thinking of buying hybrid heat, but LG doesn’t make one. Also how did you find over using gas cost wise. We pay pretty high rate here in Victoria BC.
Hello,
I’m not sure I can compare one to the other since I don’t have both.
Bruh how u pull the warming drawer out it only go halfway out fr
Does anyone know how to connect to WiFi,what button to press on oven?
Question is due to back extra coverage, is your stove sticking out from front? I purchased it and mine sticking out lil more outside
Do this oven come with a wok grate as well? I'm looking at purchasing this range in stainless soon. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Hello,
This oven did come with a wok grate. My wife tucked it away somewhere so I can't recall what it looks like but it did come with one.
Thank you 😊
Hello. I just installed this oven after converting it to lp. Is your flame in the back of the oven in bake mode yellow?
Hello,
I finally got around to checking this for you and my flame is pretty much yellow with a tinge of orange possibly.
@@jspilman5743 Thanks for the response. Mine is pretty much just how you described yours, so I think it is normal. I'm real happy it
Hello, I need conven.bake at 400F, but oven automatically turned it to 350F. Does it mean that I can't set the needed temperature? How can I set 400F? Thank you. 😊
Hello,
I just went and experimented on my oven and all I did was turn the oven knob to CONV. BAKE and hit the TEMP button and inputed the temperature I wanted on the digital keypad and hit START and it worked perfectly. Let me know if this works for you or not. It worked perfectly for me.
Hello, how can i make the flame bigger, the one on the middle is very small ?
Hello,
I just went and turned mine on to "high", "medium" and "low" and you are right. The center burner does not get as big as you think it would on "high". I'm not sure if there is a way to make it any higher other then turning the knob. I'm not sure why the designed it that way.
Do we need to run oven once prior to using, brand new of course??
I just texted my wife asking if we had to do a "burn in" on the oven and she doesn't recall having to do one and I don't recall having to do one either. I'm sure it's in my manual somewhere but I'll have to see if I can find it.
What is the minimum temperature for the stove? My stove cannot set belove 275 F. Thanks
Hello,
The minimum temperature on the oven appears to be 170*/f. I just went and turned my on to "BAKE" and tried to input 100*/f and it automatically changed it to 170*/f.
@@jspilman5743 Thanks.
You can get it down to 100F if you put it in sous vide mode. In proof mode, it has a single default temp at 92F.

Does the air fryer basket come with the range?
It does come with the range. It works very well and it is a great accessory. You’re going to love this range if you purchase it.
My husband surprised me with this new range and a new microwave…being delivered tomorrow! Thank you 😊
@@mollyhylton6558 That is fantastic news! You got yourself a good husband. You are going to absolutely love this stove. I love to just sit and look at it. Especially love it when the oven door is open and seeing the blue coating on the inside makes it look so nice and modern.
Are the knobs metal?
No. They look like it but they appear to be a hard plastic. I had to tap on mine to see though. They really look like they’re metal.
@@jspilman5743 thank you😃
The new ones do not have the fancy burner or the lighted knobs
I didn’t know that. Thank you for sharing. The lighted knobs aren’t a make it or break it feature but they are kind of cool and makes identifying which burner is on a little easier. The burners on this range are fantastic. That surprises me that they would take away the fancy burner. We use them to rapidly boil water quite often.
@@jspilman5743 can u tell me the whole model # mabey I bought a different model
I got this last week and frankly a bit disappointed that there's no true remote start function for the oven, you have to manually set it at the oven every time so the advertisements of being about to go to the store to scan and have it preheat is not really true. The app is almost useless for this appliance.
Otherwise I love the range, looks and functions great
How do you find the model number?
Pull out the bottom drawer (below the oven door) and look in the top left corner
hello Thank you for your review.
Let me know if I can help further in your decision making or if this helped at all.
it's Air "sue - veed" to say it correctly. Sous vide is French style of water bath cooking, air sous vide is a new concept I believe.
Thank you for the help. I honestly couldn't figure out how to say it to save my life ;o) My brother in law cooked some steaks that way for us and they were amazing. This oven definitely does it all.
What is model number please?

@@jspilman5743 Thank you. Since I purchased it from Costco, I contacted them. They contacted LG on my behalf at a dealer-only line and LG will send me the $35 missing part. Did you have to install it? Looks like I will have to move the range out onto the floor to install it.
@@lewbie99
Hello Lewbie99,
You will need to pull the stove out far enough so that you can get a phillips screw driver behind it. I can’t figure out how it gets under there with such small gaps on the side but they do : )
We just received ours didn't even cook on it yet
