Just remember something logical guys, the more a show is watched the more people will drop it, it's just called statistics, if a show is watched by 10000 people and dropped by 1000 it means that 10% of people have dropped it, if 1 millions people watched a show and 10000 dropped it it only makes 1% of people dropping it. Numbers don't matter, what matters is the ratio of people watching/dropping
worst anime are not on that list because they are so bad literally no one watch them. is purely subjective on popularity of the shows
so if tomorrow an anime becomes super famous, and is watched by the entire human race, you can be sure that it will become the most dropped one of history just because of these statistics. even if it's the best show ever made and everyone give it a 10/10

@@bullymaguire6503 according to MAL, deathnote is 50% more popular than my hero acadamia and demon slayer, attack on titan is on average 50% more popular too and sword art online 10 to 15% more, it's called statistics and it is a law every anime abide, of course exception exists, and don't forget the older the anime the more dropped it will be because more people will have seen it too, when the hype of a show fades off that's when you can really read the statistics and compare it to the other
death note is from 2006, SAO from 2012 and AOT from 2013. my hero acadamia is fairly more recent (2016) and demon slayer is only from 2019, so people are still getting super hyped about it. the older a show the more haters it's gonna get, it's called mathematics and science. give it a few more years and thoses show will sadly fell as well in the 100 most dropped
@@bullymaguire6503 oataoa is right, why do you think most animes on that video are all a bit more older anime. death note is fairly old, elfen lied is from early 2000's, you can see a tendency of older shows being the most dropped. some on that list are more recent but where a lot more controversial ( bad ending, plot twist the audience didn't like ) but you can see most of the time the animes on this list are quite more old and have been out there for a while. why don't we see really recent and currently airing anime on that list ? it's not because they are better than the older ones, it's mostly because they have reached and impacted less people yet. in a few years most recent animes will probably fall in that list too
The promised neverland season 2 was really disappointing. So many differences from manga. But season 1 is still masterpiece.

Fillers are fine for me if the anime is finished since I can skip them and continue with canon but for ongoing I would rather have something I get interested in than those fillers

Look kid its always gonna happen, im more of a movie guy than an anime weeb, and from my experience art is not gonna be for everyone and anyone can find value in anything that isn't force them to watch, sometimes theres people that will find a lot of value in something like no way home, and there will be people that won't found value in something like saving private ryan, and any one will have a good or even bad argument for why.

It's all popularity, the more popular an anime is, the more people will try to drop it
To be fair most people that attempt to watch anime are teenagers with very short attention spans.
Its understandable for Bleach since, Bleach is notorious for Sudden Filler arc especially after the Heueco Mundo arc. Thats why you need to make some research about Bleach anime and try skipping the fillers (except the movies).
At least most of the filler arcs are pretty entertaining and some of them have very interesting concepts

I have dropped like One piece 3-4 times but after sometime I got back to it and now I have caught up to it.
It's better to read the manga instead. One Piece is the best selling manga of all time for a reason.

Seeing one piece there gives me hope that i am not the only maniac who dropped that show (anime not manga) it had such bad pacing , i couldn't stand to watch it , funny thing is , i said "i will give it as much time as i gave to FMAB" , so i went on watched 64 eps , it was a drag to be honest, then i was like "i will give it as much time as i gave to hunter x hunter" , so i watched 148 ep and STILL i hated the pacing , so i just quit and marathoned the manga
My problem is that naruto had 700 chapters , and they adopted everything into the anime , to not catch up to the manga they had to inteoduce filler episodes (lot of them" which is fine (for someone who can skip filler) but one piece strerches the cannon episodes than bringing filler episodes
Filler ain't good you know if you watch an old anime then no problem you can skip but imagine waiting one week just to get a filler

I get that people dropped Gintama for its first impression. At first I thought it was going to be some fun comedy anime but beyond that it was a show that exceeded its potential people should give it a chance.

Because most people impression was at the first episode, but Gintama decided to put ova (which not even that funny) at the very start, which cause confuses.
Agree about Boruto. Naruto is a great manga. However, there are countless holes in the plot. A lot of scenes is natural, illogical and even a little bit make up situation but after all, naruto is quite good but boruto is like building a new floor above the weak base. It collapsed easily. Some of my friends even said, "Naruto is weak because Boruto is MC :D"

A friendly reminder : if the anime have so many droppers , that doesn't mean it's bad , it can be like people couldn't take the sad moments or deaths of certain characters , or the anime is way popular , because that will increase both haters and lovers of that anime.

I can't blame people since it takes quite a few episodes to get hooked to One Piece. It's better to read the manga of One Piece instead. If One Piece was animated by a better studio, it's pacing would have been way better. Although, the fact that it's this popular despite the laziest company animating it, is a massive feat

Guess the only reason anyone would drop death note would be after a certain someone died " cough " one of the main reason why it was interesting was for that one character once he was out the anime became extremely boring , while for AOT guess they just couldn't see anymore characters dieing in the most brutal/sad way possible

I finished watching Promised Neverland S1 on December 6 and never watched even one episode of S2 until 2 weeks after (now) when I saw its low rating through the thumbnail that got me interested in what happened for people to drop it or rate it so low. I haven't finished watching the anime yet, I've only watched 1episode.

Fire Force is honestly great people just drop it because of the ecchi moments. If you read the manga after finishing season 2 onwards it is really crazy good. Soul Eater is dropped because it's halfway storyline differs from the manga because the anime hasn't caught up with the manga at the time it was produced. Atsushi Ohkubo is honestly a mad genius

I knew Steins;gate would be on it. I dropped it after 9 episodes. I'm so glad I realised my mistake. No show hit me emotionally in the same way as Steins;gate. If anyone else is considering dropping it please don't; I promise you won't regret it.

@@Red-lo7ob definitely. Its really slow at the start for sure but it starts to pick up so rapidly after episode 10. Also, everything is so confusing at the beginning but when all the puzzle pieces start coming together it's the most satisfying experience in the world.

Dropping a show for me is incredibly bad cuz , in order to have an opinion on a show or a manga , it need to start from the first chapter or the first episode to the last one.
And if I feel the synopsis and the visual don't please me or I feel I would not being able to finish it , I don't start it in the first place.

Everyone has a different opinion. But for me, S2 is not worth watching, while the first part of S3 (alicization) is quite enjoyable (but not great).
However, some people prefer the S2 over S3.
In conclusion, I don't recommend it if you prefer a complex story. Watch it only if you need something to enjoy

I dropped Boruto after episode 219. Just lost my interest from it. A few lingering attachments to the show iust died there. The show isn't half bad but I just ain't right for me!

I dropped Boruto after episode 50 or fkn something. No matter what happen it was so boring. Bad animation. Even Sasuke and Naruto vs that otsuki hyped up fight was so cringe. Never watching it again. Only thing i liked was Orachimaru vs older Mitsuki, when Mitsuki awakened sage mode. How people can watch it is beyond me. Its like they dont understand anime

Probably because first 7 eps were boring to them since nothing big is happening even though its warmup arc for something big
I dropped it when I was much younger cause I couldn’t really understand what was going on so I decided to wait until I become an adult to fully understand everything and I enjoyed it a lot! I think that might’ve happened to some people since the show is notorious for being a bit complex and you have to really pay attention to details to understand how everything ties together towards the end

Personally, I don't agree, because while the show isn't as good after episode 25, it's still pretty good (goes from an 11/10 to an 8/10 IMO) and enhances the series as a whole by building on the world and the themes of the series in interesting ways. Plus, episode 37 (despite being way worse than the manga's ending IMO) is a much better and more satisfying ending than episode 25. I guess what I'm trying to say is that having seen past episode 25 makes Death Note as a whole a better experience, even if it lowers the average quality per episode.
I feel like the 2nd half of the anime would have been better recieved if they didn't remove so much from the manga. I personally think that most things in the latter part of the series was more engaging than the Yotsuba arc.

Same, all it's filler except maybe three tail arc feels unwatchable for me. Ended up dropping the anime and read the manga instead once the anime finished it's just a matter of re-experience all those epic battles animated from war arc through the end
I never drop a show or a manga , when I start one , I MUST finish it in order to be sure at 100% either I like it or not and having my own opinion on it , taking in account the hight and low of the series.

I'm gonna be honest, if this list doesn't include animes like Devil May Cry, imma be confused. The DMC anime adaptation was one of the worst anime I've ever seen, and that's saying alot since I think a shojo kids anime like Aikatsu! Is way way way better than the DMC anime

Neverland, they skipped ALL the good arcs of mangá, made they own story thinking the could do better, rushed all the plot, Norman appearence made no sense, and fucked up all the story after that.
Ep 10 din't even had a script they just did randomly and my god, the end, THE END was just a slideshow made on powerpoint with images for us to guess what happened on it bcuz they were too lazy to animate it
The best arc of the manga also, golden pund that had the best character and antagonists, a good plot and the first paternal figure the kids had was totally removed bcuz they did not wanted to animate kids holding guns on it.
