  • Uluru is an iconic natural landmark located in a remote area of The Outback [Central Australia]. Uluru, also known as Ayers Rocks, is one of the most unique places to visit in all of Australia! It's home to 5 of the world's most deadliest snakes and is taller than the Eiffel tower!
Uluru /Ayers Rocks is inside Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - both are well worth the visit! From going on walks at sunrise, learning how to play the didgeridoo, and riding a camel - Uluru is filled with adventure! While Uluru is a popular tourist destination, this rock is very sacred to the Aboriginals. Be sure to watch our video before visiting Uluru to learn some helpful tips and things to do!

Every summer gets the summer monsoon season and the lightning storms are fun to watch in Uluru Ayers Rock during the rainy season from November to March, and be careful to do any activity safe during thunderstorms 🌩️ because the lightning is one of the most powerful forces of nature exceeds over hundreds of millions of volts of electricity and there are so many of cloud to ground lightning strikes in the area in Uluru- Kata Tjuṯa in the outback sky in the Australia’s Northern Territory. Lightning storms are very beautiful but way too dangerous if you are not careful and do not go in the water to swim or go hiking in the high places when the lightning strikes more than once. And also bring lots of water while you are hiking 🥾 in Uluru- Kata Tjuṯa in the Australia’s Red Centre. I loved to watch and see the summer lightning storms are very spectacular in the summer sky in Uluru Ayers Rock.

We visited in the peak of summer and actually didn't see any lighting or thunderstorms! It was full sun every day, all day. But that's so wild! Thank you for sharing!! 1000% agree about bringing and drinking LOTS of water. It's so easy to get dehydrated in Uluru!

@@thewildlylife Did you find it too hot and humid in January? We are going in January too and couldn’t make up my mind if it’s worth visiting there during that time, I can’t stand heat and I can’t stand flies, am wondering if it’s going to be a torture for me. I’ve heard people say the best time is in their winter or spring. But I’m there in the middle of Australia’s summer and don’t know if I can handle it

@@luxurytravel759if you’re able, I think spring or winter would be better! The flies were honestly soooo horrible (but we learned they’re seasonal) and it was definitely HOT. We only explored during sunrise and sunset (per local recommendations and sign postings). If we go again we think we’d visit not in summer. Hope that helps!
