Wow!!! The best floats I ever had. I'm never going to try again what we call Johnnycake again, this is the real deal. My husband enjoyed them so much and I enjoyed them much more. I ate 6 of them with tuna bc I only had Saltfish with the bones in it and it would need boiling or soaking, too long a process. Next time I'll have to double the recipe. They were that great. Hello!!! I'm pretty late to try this, but I did this morning and omg!!! My mom and hubby cleaned out all the bake and I just about managed to save a little saltfish and tomato for my mom for later. Thank you for this amazing recipe. It will be on regular rotation for this year's Lenten season for sure 👍🏽

Thank you so much for this recipe. Omw to the supermarket my friend add eggplant to the saltfish. She puts the eggplant on the fire till its burned scrapes the skin off then cut and seed it add it to the saltfish. I havent made this in yrs going to make it now. Its sooooooo delicious

Oh my goodness I never had the tomatoes and saltfish before! I am excited to try this. I am like you I like to fry my salftish first before adding anything to it. Thanks for the tip where you said that some people fry a batch of saltfish and store it in the fridge. Desalting the saltfish can be a lengthy process. BTW thanks for the shout out!!!
