Hello and I hope you are having a joyful and blissful day. I have had 2 very busy days and now I get to sit and watch your video. Thank you for sharing this video, your knowledge and talents.
Thank you so much for sharing your many talents! I love the result, and I enjoyed making the quilt every step of the way. It made something to look forward to every other Friday. I found your videos well done with clear instructions.
I am sewing the final 4 blocks to complete the quilt and so far i love the design ! Im not sure why i couldnt sew the pieces of the first group the way you did but i found a method that worked better for my brain and was able to complete 3 blocks from the first section in a quarter of the time it took me to do 1 block... hoping these last 4 go just as fast . Again, love the dedign and so appreciate you sharing this with us. Cant wait to try another in the fall if you are doing one. Take care !
Beautiful end results, your quilt is very doable and your overall quilting is beautiful as well. Thanks for sharing your process of sew this quilt. 👍❤️😊
Hi - thank you for this - I enjoyed it, but I bought fabric as indicated that the quilt can be 90 x 90. Is it possible for you to have a diagram for the larger size so I make it? I love your videos especially the ones on the fabric unpacking please keep those coming.
All was going well until I got to putting the second part together. Clue #1 and 3 all measure 6 1/2", clue #5, the triangle /hourglass? measures only 6"???😬😔😢. I've checked my 1/4" seams and recall cutting that block 7 1/4" as suggested in tutorial. Please help!!!
Kathy, if you cut as directed on the pattern and video to 7 1/4", and bisect twice, then piecing using 1/4" seam allowances you should end up with a block that can be trimmed down to 6 1/2". Handle all the pieces delicately; do not stretch the fabric as you are sewing. Guide the fabric through the sewing machine without pulling on it.
@@thequiltedforest Apologies for my 'rant', arrogance, ignorance!! Technically speaking, (working it out mathematically - which I wasn't doing ) you are absolutely correct, it MUST be cut 7 1/4!! Thank you! Have really enjoyed this challenge. Been a great learning curve for me.
